This is the…read moresecond vehicle that we've purchased there and it's been nothing short of enjoyable if shopping for cars can even be that. I will say after going to several lots and looking at cars that had way too many miles and look like people had lived in them and smelled like a cigarette factory Jerry Hunt supercenter is a breath of fresh air, literally because their cars are clean they're very low mileage and it's hard to beat the price. We were able to quickly pick out a new car or a used car for our daughter and it looks brand new they even repainted a back piece that had some scuff marks on it and there's just nothing bad I have to say about this dealership. The only deal in used cars but how many of us can even afford a new car today? If you're in the market for a new car for you I would definitely go to their website because they have hundreds upon hundreds of vehicles and if you're looking for a specific type they probably have 15 or 20 of that type in many colors and they're all going to be clean. Another bonus is they offer a lifetime powertrain warranty for as long as you own the vehicle.

I found the truck I wanted, test drove it, and decided to move forward with trading in my current vehicle. We went through the negotiation process and eventually agreed on numbers I was comfortable with. I initialed paperwork for both the trade-in value and the financing terms we discussed. After sitting at the dealership for hours, I was finally sent to the finance manager, Tyrone Mcelveen, to complete everything. This is where things took a turn. Without clearly explaining anything to me, he changed my loan term from 72 months to 84 months and added a warranty--without my knowledge or consent. Because the term was extended, the monthly payment stayed about the same, so it wasn't immediately obvious what had been done. When I questioned why the total amount was higher than expected (around $7,000 more), I was told it was due to GAP coverage and interest. That didn't sit right with me. I asked for an itemized breakdown before leaving, which I never received. (Still have yet to receive!) Later that night, I went through my paperwork more carefully and discovered a warranty brochure included--this was the first real indication that something had been added. Not a single document clearly showed a full breakdown of what I was paying for. I contacted the finance manager, Tyrone, the next day and asked directly if a warranty had been added to my loan. He admitted that it had and then tried to tell me that GAP required the warranty, which is simply not true. I immediately told him to cancel it. He claimed he did and sent over paperwork, but at that point I didn't trust the situation. To be safe, I contacted the warranty company myself (which had not been done like he said) and confirmed the cancellation and secured a full refund. Because of this experience, my loan ended up being financed for thousands more than it should have been, and I've now had to take additional steps to refinance altogether. Moral of the story: be extremely careful here. Read every single document thoroughly, do not let anyone rush you, and don't assume anything is being done in your best interest. Situations like this are exactly why people don't trust dealerships.

He said it would be a less expensive way to repair the damage, which I appreciated, even it it wasn't coming out of my own pocket. Randy is the gentleman who I was referred to. He came to my place to take a look at the damage. I don't think this is what should be expected, however. I believe he was just in the area and did me a courtesy by coming to me. He was able to repair the damage so well that you couldn't even tell the dents had been there. He uses some technique for the repair that doesn't require repainting. (Hence, the least expensive option) I had also but a ripple in my front fender (my fault) that a friend had used a rubber hammer to fix the best he could. Randy was willing to do some work on that as well for a reasonable price. He wasn't able to get it back to perfection with the previous manipulation of the fender, but had I come to him first, it would've been perfect. However, it looks so much better!!! To top off the skills Randy has, he is also a very kind and respectful man. Always professional and takes his time hearing the customer out. I recommend this business for your body shop needs!

After the initial "repair," the paint job was completely off and the color difference was extremely noticeable. They mentioned that silver is a tricky color to match and agreed to fix it. The second time, the paint looked great! However, when I got my car back, I noticed a crack in the windshield that was NOT there before. I'm 99.9% positive they caused it, but they refuse to admit fault. When I first brought it up, I was reassured that there are cameras everywhere and that they would find out how and when it happened. But the next day, when I spoke to the general manager, she mentioned that cameras wouldn't be able to identify such a small detail in the windshield and that it was most likely a rock chip that spread due to cold, so I'm stuck with a cracked windshield. To make matters worse, my car isn't fully repaired. It drives dangerously because the auto-correct is malfunctioning, pulling me all over the road, which never happened before the accident. The shop claims it's not related to the wreck and suggests it might be due to the windshield needing calibration, yet they won't fix it because they claim it isn't related to the accident. What I'm having a hard time understanding is how they can be unsure about what may be causing something but be certain it wasn't caused by the accident. This makes no sense at all. My car didn't do this before the accident, but it's doing it now. So make it make sense. Additionally, I also have scratches on the A-pillar from them removing and installing the new fender and painted door moldings. These are minor things that I would not complain about had I not had this terrible experience. They did offer to fix the scratches, but at this point, I have lost confidence in their ability to properly repair my vehicle. Overall, my experience with Carolina Collision Center has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend their services to anyone.
