We stopped by here and got a half gallon of mango cider and a half gallon of peach cider along with a package of apple filled crumb donuts and a package of blueberry filled crumb donuts. The mango cider didn't really taste like mango but tasted like regular cider. The peach had the flavor of peach and overall it was good. I wanted to check out this little cider mill. I stopped here on the way back from cold spring harbor fish hatchery and aquarium with my dad and son. The outside is so pretty I'd love to come back in warmer weather and hang out. The inside is not much but it seems like they've got lots of goodies to pick up off the shelf and buy. My dad and I got cider and my son suckered us out of a $22 honeycomb that he threw a fit about. And when he got home he ate some of it before deciding it was gross because of the honeycomb. It was my first time coming here and I don't know why I never came before. The business is family owned and everyone who works here is very helpful and welcoming. I've never had hot apple cider before and it tasted like the most amazing and REAL apple cider I've ever had. The ice creams are so creamy and pair so well with the warm apple pies. You also cannot go wrong with their cider donuts because they are soooo addicting. I thought one was enough but I had to take two!! They sell all sorts of things from jams to pies to drinks. This place has it all and their ciders and pies don't have any preservatives either. The place is located right off the highway so you really cannot miss it. The apple prices are competitive and the fruit is fresh. My next observation is that Jericho Cider Mill makes VERY GOOD apple cider donuts! The only bust was the apple pie: soggy bottom and bland top crust, apple filling lacking enough sugar and cinnamon, not worth the high price in my opinion. I didn't try the apple cider, I figured that was enough apple stuff for a day, but I hear that it's quite good. This place seems to have gone downhill! We always make it a point to stop by every fall season because as my previous review shows, we love the pies, ice cream, and apple cider donuts! When we went last fall, it was already a bit underwhelming with the pies, but at least they were still edible. This time we spent ~$100+ on ice cream, apple cider donuts, mini blueberry pie, apple pie, and 2 ciders. For what we paid for, I certainly expected better quality. The apple pie crust tasted bland and stale like I'm eating straight up flour. There was no butter flavor to it at all. The filling itself was plain and not what an apple pie would usually taste like. We could barely finish half of it before having to throw it out and waste our money as a result. They did not have their usual cookies and cream ice cream either this year? Service in past years was lovely and the ladies at the registers were great. This year - these 2 girls were at the registers and I asked one of them if they had cookies and cream because I only saw the cookie monster one. She seemed so bothered that I asked her that and she brushed me off and said whatever is there is what they have. Not even a "oh I'll check for you real quick." I reached out to the store directly about this experience, but unsurprisingly, no one bothered to respond. Maybe we'll try going again but we definitely won't be purchasing as much next time since we regret a lot of what we got this time around. read more

Every year my family would get one apple crumb pie and one apple raspberry for Thanksgiving and we would all be so excited. We've only tried the crumb pies and because we liked it so much we never ordered anything else. However this year I don't know if it's because I'm suddenly older and wiser but it just seemed too sweet for my taste. I don't like how the pie falls apart so easily after cutting it as well. I still like it for the most part but eating it almost seems more like a chore... and because I would hate to waste. Cute little random place literally right off the road. I love when I find little shops like this on vacation so I can bring home the goodies of another state. This cider mill was just on the side of the road on the way to our hotel with 2-3 parking spots and a tiny little store front. They had many selections and while I have seen better prices else where I bet for the area this place was on the cheaper side. They had so many different kinds of jams, salsas and sauces to choose from; I wanted the moonshine BBQ sauce but ended up buying peach syrup and some apple pie coffee, which came in both ground coffee and the kcups. I actually might go back tomorrow before I leave because I think I really want these moonshine BBQ sauce. What a cute little traveling attraction to stop in and get something yummy. read more

Jericho Cider Mill has been our go to place for the best apple cider. It's really a Long Island institution. It's soooo good and they make the most flavorful cider. This time I had the apple cider donuts, which were excellent. I learned they were baked, not fried and I was surprised they were as good as they were. You can really taste the apple cider. I also had the apple pie and ice cream. While I prefer Briermere's pies, JCM is a bit closer to home and the prices are better. I'm leaving this review because I'm beside myself with what they expect people to post for pies... I got go up to the counter and had 2 pies and a jar of apple butter, rings up to 63 dollars... what? Is there gold baked into the pies?? I put back a pie and it still came out to nearly 40 dollars... This thing would have to completely blow me away to be worth that price tag, like I get it the economy is rough right now but it's like that for everyone not only your pie business... Right on 106, Jericho Cider Mill was a staple of my childhood and has become a go-to spot during adulthood. Their pies are the BEST and I'm always looking for an excuse to stop there while in town. The three things I always get are: some sort of pie, frapples, and apple turnovers. My pie go-tos are apple crumb and apple, though sometimes I opt for the apple crisp in a pan to switch it up. I've had multiple people try the apple crumb and immediately declare that it is the best apple crumb they've ever had - obviously I agree. As for the other items, you NEED to try their frapple. Sometimes I'll stop at the Cider Mill just for that. And the apple turnovers are just little pockets of handheld joy so like... why do wouldn't you just grab one? The Cider Mill itself is super cute and has tons of items for sale, including a variety of apples, apple butter, apple cider, and things having nothing to do with apples. They've implemented a convenient online ordering system, but you can also just walk in and grab stuff too. If you're ever on 106 or nearby, make sure to make a pit stop! read more

I'd been planning to visit this place as I passed this hundred times going to a dentist appointment and I was finally able to stopped by today. It was crowded and lots of children were around , there was no school -it is Columbus Day but it's worth the stop. Parking though is crazy as I parked along route 106. The mill offers apples of different kinds, pumpkins of different sizes, mums of different colors, marmalade, spread, jellys, preserves and as expected , the apple cider which is their best seller (comes in 2 sizes- a gallon and a half gallon). I'd have tasted their cider before and the best I have ever tasted. I was surprised to see apple cider cheesecake. As much as I want to try it , the pie size is too big for what i need. I have just noticed that the item prices are not easy to see. Either you take your chance to know it when you are in the register, or keep turning the item for the tag, or ask an associate. It's the peak season for the farm stand . The cashier know most of the customer, they may have their regulars. They put up fun stuff to buy and fun things to do for the kids. Weirdest apple cider donuts ever. They're fluffy, but not the moistest and taste an awful lot like bananas. Probably one of the worst "fresher" Apple cider donuts I've had. Blueberry filled donuts were insanely dry. Can you imagine a donut worse than old Dunkin' Donuts donuts? If not, this their blueberry donuts can show you what stale means.
