For people on Yelp seeking honest reviews ... This nightmare continues for us. I have been getting bids to complete this job and 90% of what Jeremy did has to be torn out. He put in the paper upside down. He laid the wire flat with no spacers. He put staples through would-be waterproof flashing. He floated an exterior shower wall crooked. The niche is off centered and the wrong size. He punched holes through the wall into the adjacent room. We don't appreciate the huge chunk of cement dumped on our side yard either. So, in addition to his contract that is not legal and all of the other issues, the quality of his work is substandard. Pretty scary for a shower. We have hired dozens of contractors over the years from a swimming pool to pavers to a kitchen remodel and this is our first issue ever so I guess we are lucky. read more

WOW - I highly recommend Jeremy Emery Tile!!! Jeremy was refereed to me by a very trusted friend where he just completed several bathroom remodels and other work. We had water damage which mandated the complete replacement of a hallway bathroom. We did a complete (major) remodel from the studs and sub floor out where Jeremy performed all of the demolition. Jeremy did an excellent install job with exacting perfection (important with a tile job). He built the shower enclosure from scratch, replaced the tile floor and installed a pencil tile back splash that surrounded the medicine cabinet. He is very conscientious and does what he says! He arrives on time and cleans up daily! Our plumber looked at Jeremy's work and mentioned that he sees a lot of remodels. I asked him what he thought and he told me that looking at the joints in the tile work, "your tile guy really did an excellent job"; he then proceeded to ask for Jeremy's card which I happily provided. I recently renovated my kitchen and replaced the kitchen floor tiles and counter backsplash, and I am very, very happy with the results. Jeremy took his time to take measurements for the estimate so that I did not end up with extra tiles (money wasted) or end up running short (time wasted). Jeremy just did an extensive bathroom tile project for me, and I highly recommend him. He's everything good everyone else has said about him, below; honest, hard working, skilled, engaging, tidy, customer oriented, good prices, and holds himself to a high professional standard. Although 5 stars is "as good as it gets", to be honest, a couple of little things didn't come out quite "perfect", This was a difficult project, with difficult small glass tile, and 36" long floor tile that would have been hard for any tile installer to do perfectly, so I don't want to sound unreasonable. For any standard or difficult traditional hot mop shower install and/or tile install or repair project I'm sure Jeremy can do an excellent job for you. If its super complex, or involves more exotic tile applications you may want to discuss with Jeremy if he's confident he can execute every detail of the project, and/or get contractor referrals from your tile shop. read more

Jeremy had laid our kitchen floor a few years ago, and now he's tiled our living room floor and soon, he'll reface our fireplace. We appreciate his experience and expertise which has been demonstrated repeatedly at various phases of our many projects. For example, my husband and I agonized over what materials to use in our living room / dining room area, the pattern of the tile, whether to have a border, the color of the grout, etc. Jeremy would kindly guide us back to an uncomplicated and sophisticated look by explaining elements of design and style that matched our home, neighborhood, and budget. Even now after the floor is complete, we drove ourselves crazy trying to figure out what to do with the fireplace, which was a last minute choice and is no easy task. We wondered whether to use a whole cut stone, or to tile, or to use a wood frame, etc.; each idea having its pros and cons. We went to all kinds of stores collecting numerous samples and questioned our choices night after night. This has gone on for weeks now. Once we had triumphantly narrowed down our choices to about four different stones, we proudly shared our findings with Jeremy. He looked it over, made a funny face, then announced that "uba tuba" was what we needed. Well, that was not one of our displayed samples, nor was it one that we had come across in our search. We compliantly went to the store the following weekend and were blown away by how perfect uba tuba was for our fireplace and how well it matched the new floor tile. What was even better was the price and the availability of the tile. This sort of thing continues happening as we continue to work with Jeremy. We look on the Internet and read magazines and keep trying to complicate the process with varying colors, patterns, and designs.
