First, the furniture itself: beautiful design, high-end feel, and actually comfortable (which you don't always get together). You can tell they care about detail -- stitching, fabric, finish, everything looks way more expensive than what we paid. We've already had guests ask where we got it. Second, customer service. This is rare: they don't disappear after they take your money. We had a couple small questions about delivery and care, and every time we reached out, someone responded quickly, actually knew the product, and was patient and professional. No runaround, no "we'll get back to you in 3-5 business days." Just real help from real people. Delivery was also smooth. Everything arrived well packed, no damage, and on the timeline we were given. Zero drama. Overall: great quality, great look, great service. We're already planning our next piece from them. 100% recommend Jennifer Taylor Home. Five stars. read more

I really wanted to like these stools. The design is excellent, they're comfortable, and they look great in my kitchen. Unfortunately, one of the stools arrived with rust on the swivel mechanism and hardware straight out of the box. While defects can happen with any manufacturer, the larger issue was the customer service experience that followed. I initially reported the problem on August 28 and provided photos. After receiving no response, I submitted a contact form several days later and was asked to provide the photos again. I then spent over a week following up through both email and website chat because support repeatedly stated they were not receiving my email responses. Throughout the process I was asked to continue storing large packaging boxes in my home while the company determined whether they would replace a part or the entire stool. To their credit, they ultimately offered to replace the defective components or the stool itself, and also offered a full return if I was unwilling to wait. However, the amount of effort required from me to reach that point was disappointing for furniture in this price range. The stool itself may deserve 4 or 5 stars. The experience getting support for a defective product did not. read more

I ordered a velvet armchair from Jennifer Taylor Home described as Deep Brown, waiting nearly three months for delivery. Unfortunately, the fabric has major quality issues. The base brown color is significantly lighter than advertised--far beyond what could be attributed to standard screen display differences or a fabric swatch variation. Additionally, the chair has prominent, lighter patches throughout the fabric, creating an unintentional "stone-washed" effect in multiple areas. This is clearly a defective dye lot. Customer service claimed this was temporary shipping compression and suggested I buy a garment steamer to fix it. However, brushing the fabric by hand does not shift the color or blend the patchy areas at all- the defect is permanent. When I requested a return, support denied it by citing a strict final sale policy. They also stated their carrier requires the original, pristine packaging to accept a return. Because the box was sliced open in a few places during shipping and the oversized box had to be cut open to get the chair up two flights of stairs, their policy made a return structurally impossible They offered a $100 partial refund to settle the matter, which is unacceptable for a defective product. I tried unsuccessfully to resolve this through a lengthy credit card dispute and advise future buyers to be cautious. read more

I attempted multiple times to contact the company by phone, voicemail, email, and through their website with no response. The most frustrating part has been the complete lack of communication and customer service. At this point, I had to file a BBB complaint requesting a refund. I bought the Aspen Vertical Tufted Headboard Platform Bed Set directly from Jennifer Taylor Home because their product page says the support slats are removable 'for use with adjustable beds.' After it was delivered and assembled, my adjustable base hit the inner frame rails and would not fit properly; the only way to make it work was to add 6‑inch risers, which made the bed unreasonably tall and ruined the intended look. Customer service had photos and a clear explanation but refused a refund, blaming 'custom order/final sale' terms instead of acknowledging that the way they advertise adjustable‑bed use is misleading. They eventually offered only a small partial refund and called it their final offer, leaving me with a bed that does not perform as advertised. Therefore, it was ordered on May 2 or 3rd via Amazon where the company got paid immediately. If you call the company, most of times they are not answering the phone. Finally I got someone to answer the phone. He gave me the delivery company name deliveright and tracking # to deal with it. I will be receiving my bed frame 29th. It took 20 days to come from the origination (Company is base in California, but actual. Item is probably from China) to Arizona. They charge you so much to return, they charge a 10% restocking fee plus they charge you for shipping, I was told the total to be deducted from my purchase would be $169.00, they added $5.00 to have it picked up, that equals $174.00, after I was finally credited, they actually charged me $ 199.21, almost $200.00 to return when I paid $581.00 for the ottoman. I ordered an ottoman online, the product was not how described as an ottoman, it was more an upholstered coffee table, it was very uncomfortable to put your feet up, I have the same couch, and it was taller than the couch. read more

CONSUMER BEWARE! We ordered a king-size, "antique white" platform bed. This bed is not anywhere on the white color spectrum. It's beige on a good day. The online photo shows a white bed with white bedding on it. IRL, the yellow/ivory color clashes with the builder paint in our brand new home & simply looks terrible (dirty & yellow) with our blue & white bedding. We ordered & paid for "white glove delivery", which means the delivery team not only sets up, but removes all the packaging from the house when they leave. We do not want this bed, but JT Home says it's "not returnable" if it's not in their original packaging. Total scam to avoid returns! No wonder this company tops out with just a 3 star rating.
