It's a very tiny place that's easy to miss, but I'm so glad I stopped by!
When I saw "mud" on the menu, I had to try it. Chai, spices, cacao, and mushrooms? My favorite drinky things mixed together? Could not resist! So I got an almond milk latte with the mud and it was like the world's earthiest dirty chaicolate, very hearty, nutritive, and warming to body and soul. Neither sweet nor light but enjoyable for what it was - mud is a good name for such an earthy brown concoction. Jen's offers organic sugar, among other options such as honey, if you want to sweeten it up.
The lady working there was super friendly and also cooking food. It looked and smelled sooooo good! I'd love to revisit to try the food and more drinks too after the great experience I had here today! Not sure what the food options are like from the perspective of vegan/vegetarian/dairy-sensitive needs (since what I saw being cooked was a bacon-and-eggs affair), but the drink menu at least has you covered with some alternative milks. read more
