Very nice and cool inside since it was such a hot day . They had a big sale section I even got pumpkin Jelly beans for only $1 wow ! What a deal ! They had so many deals on sale. I saw they had fudge so I had to buy some to try it out . The lady that helped me I forgot her name but she was so nice and attentive. She asked if I wanted to sample any flavors which I did and it helped me make my decision on what I got . After we checked out they even gave us little samples to go . My son wanted a little treat and we didn't have a chance to make it to the Jelly Belly Factory this trip. So since we were in this shopping center we took him here. I like that you can get just a few of the flavors that you want and you're able to mix and match. Or you also have the option to get pre packaged sets. We settled on a bag of about 2 flavors. We got just a little bit of each, and it was only about $3. I would highly advise that parents help children as it's not hard to over pour quickly. This is a cute shop right by a kid play area. Came on a Sunday afternoon. The shop was organized, clean, and had lots of fun items. I love being able to buy individual flavors of jelly bellies, and they had a big variety & good number of dispensers for way less cost than in other candy stores we've seen them. This could have been a run-of-the-mill transaction, but the lady who rang us up was such a delightful person who was cheerful, humorous, and so personable! Returning to the Bay Area from southern Oregon we need to take Hwy 505 to connect with Hwy 80 westbound. That takes us through Vacaville. I was thinking of Jelly Belly. I didn't necessarily want to go to the factory in Fairfield. I knew there was a store at the outlets. We pulled into the lot heading to Fenton's Creamery. And right next door is Jelly Belly. It's my lucky day. I was interested in the black licorice jelly belly flavor. Self service. I grabbed an empty plastic bag and filled it up to 1 lb. The plastic bag had indicators on it delineating 1/2 lbs up to 2 1/2 lbs. Currently it's $11.99 a pound. I looked around for the belly flops but saw select flavors only. My friend Sandy from our church in Dixon as her whole family attends. She personally donated $50 in product for Dixon Women's Improvement Club annual dinner and raffle along with silent auction at Pedros in Dixon with lunch raffle and auction 5-8 ,pm Friday the 2nd of May. Jelly beans! A great tiny treat and I stopped in today for a look around. Sadly, I didn't spot any "sugar free" jelly beans that would work on my keto diet though Jelly Belly does offer them online. Splenda instead of sugar. So I will definitely be getting some of those. Meanwhile, I did look over the flavors as a gift for my wife. I found "black licorice" and bought a half pound. I wasn't planning to get that many because a half pound is quite a lot (around 250 grams for you folks outside the USA) and they poured into that bag quite freely. Be careful with that nozzle or you'll also get a lot. You don't have to stick with one flavor! Mix and match to make some flavor combinations. Green apple and cinnamon tastes like apple pie. Very Cherry and Dr Pepper for a cherry cola. Toasted marshmallow and chocolate pudding for a hot chocolate. Keep it going! Prices were reasonable considering you're buying it retail. Great family field trip! We love visiting the Jelly Belly Factory. They give free tours, free samples and have a discount store as well as gift shop and cafe! We have visited on school field trips and recently went as a family on a Saturday. I was concerned it would be busy on the weekend, to my surprise it was not overly crowded. We enjoyed the self guided tour, loved reading info along our tour and watching the TVs display facts and info. You will also find a great cafe and a discount store. This is not the factory, but it is a nice alternative to the factory. It is pretty much the factory without the tour. It is located in the Nut Tree shopping area with tons of free parking. But finding a spot can be difficult during peak hours. You can take a picture next to the Jelly Belly Mascot on a bench for free. You have to pay for the same picture at the factory. They have a great selection of Jelly Belly Candy and soda, yes soda. They also have sale/discounted items for sale there, usually recently passed holiday candy. Just like at the factory, they offer free samples of all the jelly beans. The cashier there was extremely friendly and very helpful. She directed me to the discounted candy that was the same as what I had in my cart, but in a Christmas box. I left there with a little bit of everything, Bean Boozleds, Easter candy, some hot mix and of course, a photo next to the mascot on the bench. This store at the Nut Tree in Vacaville is like a smaller version of the main store with a small back section that has overstock, bulk, belly flops (jelly beans that do not pass quality control, but still taste great), soon to expire candies (heavy discount) or other sale items. I came in to purchase some jelly beans for my trip to Denmark because I like to give packages of Jelly Belly to the flight attendants and front desk staff of hotels if they are helpful, sometimes they provide better service if they feel appreciated. Upon entry the two ladies working the store were very nice and helpful. We started to come here for our jelly belly cravings when the Jelly Belly Factory closed down their small store that sold bulk sale items. They have all assortments of jelly belly items and always have a very good sale section that usually sells items that are still very fresh but are just out of season. There is a 20% discount for seniors and veterans I believe on regular prices items. If you bring back your receipt next time, you can also get 20% off regular priced items. I love jelly beans, but hardly every buy them because they are way too addicting and easy to eat. They have so many different flavors here, and they also have factory seconds / discounted beans. I was not going to initially write a review when stopping by this place, but the workers there were so welcoming and nice! Right when my friend and I entered, the worker welcomed and guided us around the store. She saw that I was interested in the bean boozled and spicy jelly beans, so she immediately led us to the back and encouraged us to get the ones on sale. She even took the time to show us the app on her phone for these two challenges, which I had no clue about until she showed us! Also, I mentioned that I was super excited because I really wanted to get the jelly beans for my birthday coming up (to do the challenges as some fun group activities with my housemates). I literally only briefly mentioned it because I was just so excited! But when we came to purchase our items, the workers surprised us with some extra goodies! This is a fun factory! You get to see how Jellybellys are made and learn about the history. They have self guided tours. You receive a little hat at the begining and a sample of Jellybeans at the end. You can look out over the factory and watch the workers and machines at work.
