They sell chocolate footballs for the Super Bowl parties. For some reason the don't discount the leftovers and now they are selling outdated merchandise. An item over never seen at a Sees Candy are greeting cards. This store offered them. That's great. It makes one shop shopping. If you have an occasion to celebrate they offer chocolate cigars by the register. I always think they are a cool item. When we were checking out they gave us our free sample. They asked milk or dark. I choose milk and got a double Carmel chocolate. I love Carmel so it was totally my thing. It was a bit big and sweet. I'd be happier if it were half the size. My husband asked for dark and he got a tiny one with nuts. Now that should have been twice the size. It was way too small. We found what we were looking for. We didn't know what our friends would like so we got a lavender wrapped box of mixed chocolates. It's got a little of everything. Perfect. I love the spring wrapping paper as it's not an out dated Valentine's Day gift. They had some leftover Valentines candy. They should have discounted it as Valentines has passed. read more

AMBIANCE Feels nostalgic! Walking into a See's Candies store transports me back to my days as a little girl, trailing behind my mom as she bought boxes of chocolates as gifts. This store feels just like the one I grew up with, they all do. I appreciate the company makes sure they all have the same look and feel. Consistently clean and welcoming. TREATS As Forest Gump said, "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get." This is true of a box of See's. Every piece is a sweet surprise. I am never disappointed with what I bite into. My favorites that are usually not in the box are scotch-mallows and almond royals. CUSTOMER SERVICE Super friendly. Thankful for Gloria and Karen. Gloria went the extra step to wrap my box of chocolates and put on stickers to match the occasion, like for my thank you gifts for nurses, she added "healthcare workers" stickers. Been wanting to try their Scotchmallows and finally had the chance to stop by here. The lady and gentleman employees inside were very nice and so helpful and they offer a sample of their chocolate. Upon entering the place is so clean and organized and loved the blasting AC. It's nice to be in a cool store after walking around in the Vacaville weather. Although the store is a bit small they are pretty well stocked. They are currently having a sale because it is Mary See's bday month. Just look for the green tags. Next time I'm craving some peanut brittle and their assorted chocolates I'll definitely come here again. read more

Staff did not acknowledge me or offer help, and when they finally did, the interaction was rude and dismissive as if it were an inconvenience for them to do their job. Coming back from picking out our Christmas tree, my family and I decided we all wanted to stop at See's to grab a sweet treat for the ride home. Upon entering, we were not greeted with a warm smile or hello or anything at all. Not a huge deal, there were 3 other customers, I know it can get busy. When it was our turn to order, Ray asked what we wanted and made us feel rushed and uncomfortable. He did not give us any samples or ask if we had received any yet. My kids were looking forward to this, I mean, who doesn't? I asked for a recommendation for a chocolate with just marshmallow and he responded VERY rudely and abruptly, "We dont have those!" He then proceeded to walk away and then yell my total to me while my family were all still standing there picking out chocolates. We were not done and never said we were and he was completely pushy and rude. There were also no customers in line behind us. His tone, demeanor and customer service were terrible! We were all very disappointed when we walked out and decided that we won't be coming back to this location any more. This is not the first time I have experienced horrible customer service at this location. read more

I was in Vacaville the other day and noticed that a See's Candies store was nearby and decided to check it out. It's a small store, but has a candy counter, which is what I was hoping for. My son and I looked at the boxed candies, but eventually decided to make our own box with our fave candies. I had a $20 gift card that I decided to put to good use too. We also saw a sign featuring the mint scotchmallow and the helpful employee gave us one to sample and it was delish! We decided to get 4 of the mint scotchmallows, along with two of the milk butterchews, milk bordeauxs, milk mochas, caramel patties, pineapple truffles, lemon truffles and key lime truffles. Our total was a bit over $5 from my gift card, but I will happily pay the difference when I go home with a box of See's candies. Kudos to the staff for being so generous and friendly. I am a fan of See's, so I'll use any opportunity to stop and buy some chocolates. read more

I went to this location for the first time a couple days before Easter. I was greeted with a warm hello and smiles from all the ladies working. They were wonderful. Before I knew it, I had spent $200 on chocolates, worth every penny. I know See's candy is of high quality and so is the staff. It's been so long since I've had great customer service - I was blown away and was given two sweet treats to sample. There is ample parking and even when busy, it smells so sweet and the staff is so great, the time will fly by. I highly recommend this location. read more

The service is always amazing. I can imagine how exhausted these employees are especially this time of year. Always very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately extreme high prices like everywhere have hit here but it seems excessive and Sees really needs to do better. We literally paid $38 for a one pound box of candy! Yes, $38! I know candy is very expensive to make as I do make it. However, we also all know that is expensive for one person to make. A large company like Sees no doubt gets very good prices on ingredients. There is absolutely no reason it should be $38 for a pound of candy. Oh they do have adorable advent calendars however if you want one those are $50! So will I go back? Yes! I thought I was cool and walked into this See's location to get a free sample of my choosing. As soon as I walked in this sweet lady pushed a yellowish truffle toward me. She smiled as she said, 'Try the new apple pie truffle!' I mumbled under my breath that I don't like apple pie. I came for the chocolate. She smiled sweetly and said I would not be disappointed. I took one bite and WOW!!! That truffle tasted like I just bit into an applie pie. Next thing I knew I was ordering 5 of them. Wait!? Didn't I just come in here for a sample with no intent to buy anything? Yep, I did. I was hijacked! No, I wasn't. No one would ever believe the little sweet lady was try to pump me full of sugar. I did that on my own. All she did was make a sweet suggestion If you haven't tried See's Candies, it is a must. If you're on a diet RUN fast the other way. My son gave me a pound of Sees scotchmallow chocolates for Christmas, as he always does. This year they were different. The flavor, texture, and chew were not the same. We all agreed that the caramel was over cooked. Assuming he bought them at the Vacaville store I took them there and asked if they could replace them. No problem, no hesitation, they kindly did.
