I Went there for a dry hair style (curls) for an occasion where we were taking pictures. I have A LOT A LOT of hair. Not more than 45 min after my appointment I left looking greasy (it's very hard for that to even happen to me, but I guess the products they use look greasy) And my curls were gone, my hair looked stringy and flat. I was there for an hour and a half, and mind you I went in with dry hair not wet. I had to completely start over to fix it. I called them back 3 days ago. The manager there, Karina felt that I wasn't worth her time to get back to me. She left me an initial voicemail and told me she was free to talk to me all day Friday and every time I called the front desk girls would say oh she'll call you at this time and then she never would. I also asked for them to get her so that we could speak for 1-2 minutes. She refused because she was "too busy." I finally got a call back from a manager at another location From Eileen. I asked them for a refund since what they did to my hair was atrocious. They keep giving me the run around and even asked me to come back another time ( NO THANK YOU! ). Has anyone else had an experience like this there? I just can't believe how disrespectful they are there and also how awful my hair looked. Spread the word so this doesn't happen to you. I even went to look at reviews and I'm not the only one this had happened to. Looked like 10 other women had just around the same experience as mine. With how expensive things are these days I feel that it's unacceptable. Also kindness go ways further than rudeness. Then things lined up and I made the appointment . Sadly one of my dogs ended up passing away today and I almost canceled but something pushed me to go and I am so happy. Upon walking in I was greeted by the nicest man behind the desk he knew who I was right away and offered me a beverage and made me comfortable. I waited less than 5 minutes and met Pauline the owner who made me feel like a rock star and so welcome. She consulted with me and actually listened. Any doubt I had was wiped away, I than was taken to be shampooed (by the same gentleman from desk) and had the most amazing hot towel: head massage and shampoo ever. I wanted to melt in the chair. My haircut was amazing . She took her time and showed me exactly what she was doing and explained to me. I wasn't nervous at all and knew I was in great hands, I am beyond thrilled with my new look. I honestly am So grateful I met this team. The whole staff was wonderful. I didn't want to leave. I also want to add how much they do for rescue animals . I was floored. Plus the prices are extremely reasonable for high quality work. And they did not have an easy task at hand. I needed hair and makeup for myself + 9 BM + MOB makeup + MOG makeup, with a start time of 6 AM and a finish time of 9:30 AM. And they delivered! First, for the trial - I wanted to time this at the same time as my engagement shoot. Risky, I know - in case it didn't turn out how I imagined but luckily, it did. I had to move it a couple times due to Covid or other scheduling reasons but they were very accommodating/flexible. It was just one less thing to be stressed out about. By the time I had my trial, I had already booked my date in them way in advance, so this wasn't an issue for me. On the day of the wedding, I was a little late to the venue because of car issues (of course that would happen to me the day of my wedding), so I probably got there at around 6:15, and the team was already finishing setting everything up. Linda did my hair, and Norma did my makeup. Denise and Gloria were the other two hair/MUA for the BMs. Both my hair and makeup held up, well after the wedding was over. For my hair, I wanted Hollywood-esque waves, and Linda pretty much nailed it. It looked exactly like the picture I showed her. My makeup was great too, though I wasn't as picky with the makeup as I was with the hair - I just wanted something wedding natural but not too muted, and with a hint of a fall look (if you are a bride, you will understand exactly what I'm talking about lol).
