First up, Jackson worked his magic on my hair. Not only was he ridiculously talented, but he also became my personal hair guru, dropping knowledge bombs like "Did you know this product could help with XYZ" without making me feel like I was in a lecture. My hair has never looked better, and I walked out of there feeling like I was finally in the know about how to help elevate my hair and give it the TLC it deserves. Then, Sofia took over with my makeup, and I swear, it was like meeting an old friend. We hit it off immediately (because also who doesn't love a good chit-chat while getting some glam?), and she made me feel so at ease that I forgot I was even sitting in a chair getting glammed up. Her skills were out of this world, she highlighted my features like a pro, but kept everything super natural. I have to admit, I was very surprised I loved it so much. After two hours of microblading, I sat up and looked in the mirror; I was in total shock. Not only were my brows two completely different shapes, they were different heights. I looked crazy - My face looked completely lopsided. The woman who did it acted like it was no problem to fix. I laid down, trying to be calm and trust that it would be okay. 45 minutes after the allotted two hour time, I look at my reflection again... She went over the area she messed up on using a flesh tone that didn't even match my skin. Not to mention - the shape was still insanely off. She kept saying "I'm so sorry; I worked so hard. I'm so sorry." I was sick to my stomach leaving that afternoon. I left crying and the woman at the checkout barely looked at me. Come to find out she was the owner. I got my composure and took pictures of the work- sending it to as many places as I could, looking for advice. Almost all of them said that they couldn't help me- the work was so bad, it couldn't be corrected. I called my hair stylist and booked her right away the next day. I came in wearing my hat but one brow came down so low you could still see it! All the girls at the salon tried to console me - they were all shocked at how this could happen from a "professional." I left with heavy full bangs to cover them up. I did not want that haircut, but it was the best option I had. Finally, I got an email back from a woman who said she could help and that the only way to do that was tattoo laser removal. I have gone for one of the three sessions so far. They are $300 a piece. Aside from the expense, the removal is painful and it is going to take months to get back to myself. Exclusive Day Spa was absolutely abysmal when it came to rectifying the situation. They told me, "call back in a week," because the woman who gave the service was on vacation. They took days to get back to me, and when I sent pictures the owner told me she couldn't tell what the work looked like from them and that I had to come in in person. The salon was an hour drive and coordinating with her was a pain too. When I did come in, she had such an attitude. She barely looked at the botched job, never apologized, and acted like I was bothering her. She told me to sit and wait 15 minutes to see that woman who messed me up. She must have been screwing someone else's face up. I sat there livid. Finally she said- "Let me see it again if you don't want to wait." I showed her. Again. She then said, "Call Groupon. I can't refund you, they have to." I just stormed out. I drove all the way down there for that? Ridiculous. I got in touch with Groupon right away. At first they weren't going to refund me, but I pressed because it just wasn't right. Finally, they agreed to a refund and escalated the situation to avoid future issues for their customers. I am not one to leave a bad review. If Exclusive Day Spa had even worked with me I might not have... but they should not be providing this service as they are clearly unqualified. This is a serious thing to get wrong and it has caused me serious self-esteem issues. I feel stupid for even messing with my face and for going to this place to begin with. Lesson learned. Avoid this service here at all costs.

So glad I did because she was quick, nice, professional and gave me good counsel by introducing me to the accelerator (maybe I'm using the wrong term-it's the tan that develops more quickly and you HAVE to shower in 3 hours). Let me tell you something-I've gotten a fair amount of spray tans, and I have to say, I'd definitely go back to her, and definitely do this solution because it looked so natural, so even, and I had the chance/ability to get this done late on a Friday afternoon, let it set for 2 hours, rinse, board an 11 hour flight and still have it look like when I landed. The owner at the other salon fixed it, but the result lasted for about 2-3 weeks... and I was left with bright blonde highlights again. A few friend recommended Haru to me. I was given an appointment with Hadley. Immediately, I LOVED her! Hadley is friendly, warm, and completely understanding about hair. As someone who is self-admittedly fussy, Hadley listened to me and made sure she understood exactly what I wanted. Since then, I've been to Hadley MANY times and she's brought me from balayage to my natural brunette, cuts from shoulder length to halfway down my back, and dealt with my particularness about my bangs. Hadley is super talented and has a wonderful, bubbly personality. I love talking to everyone at the front desk as well, and really enjoy my time there! I was told that because my cut and color was scheduled in the incorrect order I would not be able to see my stylist for both services for my appointment 2 days later. When I expressed disappointment in this as I booked it weeks ago and timed it for an event, Mimi proceeded to tell me that 1. I assumed risk booking online and 2. I booked my appointment too late and I probably have roots that require more time anyways and 3. That I could simply get a cut with someone else but I refused (not even true)-essentially gaslighting me as if this was my fault and not theirs. When I clarified that I would get a cut with someone else and she said that was fine I said that it seems like there's no issue anymore, but then she proceeds to add that perhaps with my negative attitude I shouldn't come at all...like what? My husband who was in the room was appalled at how a MANAGER was speaking to me, let alone after the issue was resolved. The results are not worth the abuse this place shells out if you request any accomodations.
