Then things lined up and I made the appointment . Sadly one of my dogs ended up passing away today and I almost canceled but something pushed me to go and I am so happy. Upon walking in I was greeted by the nicest man behind the desk he knew who I was right away and offered me a beverage and made me comfortable. I waited less than 5 minutes and met Pauline the owner who made me feel like a rock star and so welcome. She consulted with me and actually listened. Any doubt I had was wiped away, I than was taken to be shampooed (by the same gentleman from desk) and had the most amazing hot towel: head massage and shampoo ever. I wanted to melt in the chair. My haircut was amazing . She took her time and showed me exactly what she was doing and explained to me. I wasn't nervous at all and knew I was in great hands, I am beyond thrilled with my new look. I can not recommend Casey enough. After 6 months of distressed quarantine hair, it was time for a change. She was so careful to listen to exactly what I wanted and used that information to recommend and create the perfect color combination. Blonde hair is very tough to perfect and also do so in a "healthy" way. She nailed it on the head (literally!) The woman (owner) did something COMPLETELY different. When I saw the results - she said it looked better than what I'd wanted. 1st - it did not look better (the lowlights were uneven and poorly distributed) and 2nd - I didn't want it! She said she would fix it, but when I called to reschedule, she sounded so unpleasant that I'd actually planned to take her up on her promise that I decided to go to another salon. My biggest complaint is that if she did not know what I really wanted, or if she thought something else would look better - she should have discussed it BEFORE applying the color.

Naoto cut my hair a few times before I moved to Boston and had to find a new salon to go to. There,…read moreI got a balayage that require them to bleach my hair. Although I loved the style and color on my hair, it made my hair very dry. Fast forward to last weekend when I came back to Naoto after about 2 years and he was able to touch up my balayage without bleach and color it exactly how I wanted. He was very efficient and patient with the process of touching up my balayage and making it darker, per my request. He's also very good at cutting my hair to how I like, and I ended with a very clean and voluminous look that is perfect for the wintertime! What I loved most though was that he took his time with the consultation in the beginning to make sure I got the style and color I wanted for my cut and balayage. He also made recommendations and asked for my permission when he wanted to cut more then I wanted in order to get rid of all my split ends.
