Driving around and calling proved useless as the only bellows we found was almost $300!! It was gorgeous though, but too beautiful to use. Finally, Home Depot Customer Service recommended this small mom and pop shop. I'm so glad they did! We called them and yes they have bellows. We drove over and were greeted with a smile. I was stupefied to think I'm going to a sewing and vacuum repair for a bellows?!? What?? Uhh, okay, then I might go to a burger joint looking for a car wash?? ... Jokes on me as this place has it all! Yes, they have loads of sewing and vacuum equipment, supplies and repairs, plus they have a beautiful selection of pizza ovens and outdoor barbecues. There was one pizza oven in particular that really caught my eye. This beauty would go well on my patio deck next to my smoker. It runs on either wood or propane and is assembled on a really nice frame with shelving. It can do fairly large pizzas as well. Other areas of the store surprised me as there was also a nice variety of wood and pellet stoves as well as a section for sewing and vacuum. I ended up with a nice quality bellows for less than $100 and a firewood tote that was made from recycled canvas materials and very sturdy. The store is clean and well organized with quality brand names. Staff are polite and friendly and they mentioned they are new owners. I would definitely go back for more supplies.

I took it to the center, and was told it was not worth fixing. So I just worked around its idiosyncrasies, and my husband bought me a new Brothers Machine. What a piece of junk! I hated it, and used my Viking as well as I could. Recently, I decided to at least have my old Viking cleaned, and took it in for service. A whole new crew--and THEY FIXED IT LIKE NEW!! If they don't have the parts, the service team WILL look it up and find it. Estimates are quick and accurate. I have never felt overcharged or pressured into a service or part I did not need. I typically deal with Don, but I do not know if he is the owner. He's very direct and to the point (which I like!) Hey- I'm not going in for hugs, I'm going in for fast, reliable, reasonably priced service- I don't want to b.s. about the weather. Don always explains exactly what needs done and why, what the part will cost and how much the labor will be. They are extremely low-tech and still write estimates and receipts out on carbon slips, but they are accurate and exacting to what I am told. The shop is about a half hour away from my house. It's a pain to get there during business hours because I work. When my sewing machine broke this week (tension knob) I called around to see who else could service it. One place very near to my house wanted $150 just to look at it! (Yes, promised a year warranty but if that's all that is broken and I only take it in once in a blue moon it's still outrageous when I can buy a new cheap machine for $150 at WalMart.) I took my machine back to Springfield Vacuum & Sewing, $0 down to look at it, and the estimate came back $20 for a new tension array and $20 for labor. 'Nuff said. Why go anywhere else?

So I apologize for taking up his time and left, he was quick to comment before I got to the door that if I had any problems with it, find another place to take it. Five minutes later, I was at Paramount sewing and vacuum just 3 miles down the road. They had the same model on sale for 749.00 and when I asked about a price match, the manager was kind enough to call the owner and they agreed to give me a box of eight bags for free which came out to $43.00. I called and texted him a recording, but he then left for a week with no response. Called him after his return, left a message, no response.
