It's a donut shop, and the donuts are generally pretty good, with a few creative choices. My only real complaint is that the donuts sometimes taste and smell somewhat greasy. I suspect this is a function of the time of day I have usually gone in for them. I don't go in the early morning, I also think that the frier oil needs to be changed out at the bakery a bit more often. At $2.50 a copy regardless of the variety chosen, I expect a bit better. My first job was working at the local donut shop in the town I grew up in. It was as hometown as you can get (the building was a gas station before it became the Holly Donut Shop). That donut shop is still in business to this day after opening in the mid 70s. The reason I mention that is that Jeff's Donuts kind of reminds me of the Holly Donut Shop. On a Saturday afternoon my wife and I had lunch at Jersey Mike's and headed out the door and when we did I looked back and saw the "Jeff's Donuts" sign. It caught me totally by surprise! (I didn't even see it when we went in...then again Jim as hangry and the only thing on his mind was getting food.) I said to wifey "Hey, you wanna try out a new donut shop?" and she said "SURE!". We walked in the door and were greeted by that Donut Shop smell. Some businesses have very distinct smells. Churches, Hardware stores, Flower Shops are some of those. Donut Shops, too, have their own delicious smell as well. As soon as I smelled it I was taken back to my days at Holly Donuts. Behind and below the counters are various types of donuts: Powdered, glazed, chocolate covered, sprinkles, and just plain. A great variety of donuts, alllll asking me to take them home. In the corner is a cooler with a variety of soft drink (milks, soda, juice, and water). My wife made a beeline to a powdered sugar donut and I went to the chocolate covered custard. While one of the staff members bagged our purchase and rang us up we asked how long they'd been opened and we were genuinely surprised when they said they opened in December, '22. We had no idea! A few minutes later we were enjoying what I'm suddenly going to call "The desserts you didn't know you wanted". It's been a very long time since I had a chocolate covered custard donut, and it was PHENOMENAL. Not jut because it tasted good, but because it tasted like a part of my childhood as well. Ok so mind you we went in late but it's a 24 hour donut shop... they guy was kinda annoyed but eh I tried to brighten his day anyhow. I only received three donuts that I actually ordered and the rest were incorrect... so uhm yeah. The custard I didn't order I wouldn't of ever I didn't like it cause I don't like custard in my donuts anyhow... the cherry... was ok I wanted raspberry so eh. The kid got a peanut butter one... said it was a lot of peanut butter... stupid thick. And a cereal one with fruity pebbles on it... said the cereal itself was weird but ok. Now apparently the baker in the morning decided to do everything with fudge that was supposed to be cinnamon... so the cinnamon rolls and tiger tails etc... they were... not so great but eh I paid for them and tried a bite. So I can say I have. The star obviously the glazed. Period. Now I know not to go later at night.... When picking up jersey mikes... Will go early. Will make sure order is exactly what I ask for... This place is great! A small Donut shop with a large selection of goodies! I really like this place. Its simple. You walk in, order your stuff, they get it, you pay, its over! Your out the door! These donuts not only look super tasty, they are! They are a bit larger than the usual size donut, and strange as that sounds, its okay. You can make a donut the size of a wedding cake and I wouldn't complain! They have milk, coffee, you know the usual stuff that donuts shops usually have. We've been here more that a dozen times in less than 2 weeks and I can tell you that each time was just as good as the last. The dough itself is airy and light across all donuts - not too dense like so many other donut places. The glazed, fritters, etc. have a lot of sugar glaze - maybe too much for my taste. Each donut is $2.50, meaning a dozen is $30! So be careful getting carried away, or you might need a reverse mortgage to pay for them. Is the price going to stop me? Nope. I'm not sure I'll be buying in bulk, but it's way better than previously frozen donuts like Dunkin, plus they're local. Went to Jeff's Donuts around 1:18am with a friend since they're open 24 hours. We were excited to try something new, but the experience was honestly super disappointing. As soon as we walked in, the guy working said, "What can I do for you?" in the most annoyed, rude tone -- not even a simple "Hi" or "Welcome." My friend and I kind of looked at each other like... okay? We chuckled to shake it off, trying not to make it a big deal, but then he rolled his eyes, sighed, and walked off to the back saying, "I'll be back when you're ready." It was weird and awkward. We were trying to choose donuts, it hadn't even been 3 minutes and I guess he asked us something from the back, but we didn't hear him. So he came out and said again, rudely, "Are you guys ready?" I said, "Not yet, sir," trying to be polite, and he turned around and left again. At that point, the vibe was just off. We ended up leaving without buying anything. Not sure if he was having a bad night, but there's no reason to treat customers like they're a burden, especially when it's literally your job to sell donuts. We won't be coming back. read more

I had heard of Jeff's Donuts but with a lifetime of dieting, I had never tried them or traveled to a location. I was in the area and remembered that I really wanted to try them. Was easy parking and with it being afternoon, I thought they would be out of the most popular donuts like many of the other donut shops in town...then I noticed the sign on the door that they are open 24/7. What??!! Surely they will have some donuts that my picky family will like. I walked in and was greeted immediately by a friendly lady who promptly told me to let her know if I didn't see a particular type of donut that they had more in the back, as they had moved some things around. MORE IN THE BACK??!!! They already had so many to choose from! They were fully stocked and with types of donuts I've never seen before! The shop was bright and clean, even the counters were spotless. I stopped at 1/2 dozen and was given a delivery coupon if I chose to later get some delivered. I waited a couple of hours once home before trying any and the maple nut filled donut is my new favorite. The donuts are huge, soft, extremely delicious and the ones that are filled donuts are completely filled! Jeff's Donuts IS NOW MY NEW FAVORITE! I took pics to show my husband all the kinds they had.
