Best donuts in Louisville. Just tried a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and that was great too. They did not skimp on the bacon.

Menu and display case as of September 2024. Adding since prices have changed since the last photo of this was posted here.

Great, unfussy donut shop with all the classics. Their egg and cheese croissants are good too (they cook the eggs to order). Prices are reasonable. A very nice business to have in the neighborhood.

Always a sucker for a good glaze and some donut holes! Had a cinnamon twist too. These are great tasting donuts and yummy glaze, but could taste the fryer oil a bit, too. I'd come back next time im in the area for sure!

There was a little line when we got there but it moved quickly. The donuts are so light and not overly sweet. I can't wait to visit again!

I wanted to find a good local donut shop and this is it. It's small and has a hole in the wall charm to it. We got a half dozen (2 glazed, 2 chocolate long johns, a strawberry sprinkle, and a jelly). These donuts are melt in your mouth good. And you can taste how freshly made they are, most likely that morning. While I have seen bigger donut displays at other places, they have a wide variety of all different kinds (I spotted danish and croissants as well) This is also a good spot to pick up a breakfast sandwich to go. There are only like 4 tables in the whole place so this is more of a to go place. I love a good bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, and there's was very good. The bacon is perfectly cooked. I hate when bacon isn't cooked enough. And this bacon was perfectly crisp and they put on a generous portion. The cashier was efficient and friendly and we didn't even have to wait 5 minutes for our sandwiches. This will be a go to for a bacon, egg, and cheese and if I'm craving donuts

Dropped in about 230p on Christmas Eve Eve. They still had plenty donuts if you were not picky. I got an assortment of glazed and cake with a couple filled that they still had. The total for that dozen was less than $10. That seemed very reasonable as Krispy Kreme has taken quite a jump in price. And the taste...just like old days of fresh, delicious yeast donuts. The girl was super helpful, patient, and polite as I gathered the 12. This business is adding another location on Taylorsville Road, in Jeffersontown, by the bowling alley, taking the place of the Krispy Kreme. Although they had hoped to open by now, their reno contractors are not done. So may be end of January. They are anxious to get in and open, as much as we are!! King Donuts will be a welcomed addition to the community. Not sure if drive thru will continue, but enjoy the experience of picking ur choices, as there are sooooo many choices. King also has lunch items at Lyndon. We will wait to see our offerings!!

I've been hearing about this place for a while now. I feel like our city needs more donut shops and for some reason, we don't have a ton of options. Most are just bakeries that happen to also sell donuts. I came here after voting Tuesday morning. It was close to 8:30. There were a few others in here. They were either grabbing donuts to-go or breakfast sandwiches. I got half a dozen donuts to share with friends. We got an apple fritter, a sour cream donut, coconut, fruity flakes, blueberry, and one with sprinkles and icing. They tasted good. Nothing special about them. The price point was good though! The 6 donuts were just a little above $5 total. They've also got Thai iced coffee. Very cool! They've got a few tables in here if you want to sit down. Staff was quick and helpful. The parking lot is weird. There are a few spots in the front, then you have to drive all the way around or make a weird, sharp turn to get out.

A morning that includes doughnuts is a guilty pleasure and I felt like the family needed to expand beyond the shop we typically visit. Checking my collection of doughnuts, I noticed King Donuts was a short drive. There's not much to the building. It's connected to another business and has a few spots to park. Inside is compact and a bit too cluttered with boxes and drink fridges to make me want to sit at the couple of tables inside. Immediately upon walking in we decided to take our doughnuts to go and grab coffee elsewhere. The menu actually expands beyond doughnuts. They have breakfast and bagel sandwiches. My favorite surprise was the Thai tea! We got a dozen of doughnuts. It was closer to 11 am and some rows were empty but they were working to bring more out. On the advice of Yelpers I got a blueberry cake and was not disappointed - crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. The glazed doughnut was fluffy and enjoyable and a sample of the apple fritter was super sweet. Most interesting was the long john. They were so light and fluffy. You can taste the butter. I wish they had more chocolate on top to even out the flavors. I was impressed but I wanted more, and I heard the same from my kids ("too much dough"). I'm definitely interested to go back and try more options - plus the Thai tea is a crave.

This deli hits all of the high points. Matzo ball soup? Si. Corned beef and pastrami sandwiches on rye bread? Oui. Black and white cookies? But of course. Latkes? Well, this one surprised me, because I didn't think a deli would serve latkes, but why the heck not? For good measure, there's even a signed and framed photo of Larry David hanging on the wall. This is my kind of place. The thing to get here is the corned beef with pickled cabbage. The sandwiches here are huge, but you can get half of a sandwich with chips, and it's just the right portion for a nice lunch. Along with my half corned beef sandwich, I got the matzo ball soup. That's a pretty big matzo ball hanging out there, like Seinfeld would say, but it's hanging out in a clear chicken consomme. The matzo is the size of a whiffle ball, practically. It's dense but gives way easily under the slight pressure of a spoon. It's a very satisfying and comforting soup. My children shared a grilled cheese sandwich, which they liked but were thrown off at first because the cheese they used in the sandwich was white. So if you have a kid who likes yellow/orange cheese, maybe keep that in mind. There are lots of tables inside and out, but Good Belly gets very busy, and we barely got a table. This is also a great place to get takeout, if you're not feeling like fighting the crowds.

Because it was bigger than my head (ok, maybe this is a slight exaggeration but not by much) i had to disassemble it to eat it in stages. First off were the waffle fries and I found them to be tasty, crunch and fluffy in all the right spots. Once the taters were off I cut that biggie baby in 8 'Oh My Danwich' slices. Y'all, I rarely find myself at a loss for words, even my high dollar, 10 letter ones, but I can't fill this space with all the adjectives I would want in describing this sanwich that would make you want breakfast for every meal. The sausage had that savory salty pork taste that makes you happy you're not a vegetarian with an egg slice that was fluffier than my German Shepherd's downy fur. The cheese even had a nice pull with the topper being their chive aioli. And that sandwich was just the beginning because I also ordered a Strawberry Cruffin, Bourbon Peach hand pie and a raspberry Danish to have as late night snacks. The handpie didn't do it for me. The peaches lacked flavor that I found myself asking bestie if she wanted it because I was jiat going to toss in the trash after just 2 bites. The strawberry mascarpone cream in the cruffin was silky smooth and berrylicious with the croissant being flaky and fluffy. It was almost like a sweet and savory after school snack. The kind of bakery item that keeps you coming back for more. And more. And the piece de resistance was the raspberry Danish. I've lived my 61 years learning to never turn down raspberry anything and today, my raspberry research paid off. One hundred percent tenfold. Even though the glaze drizzle was super sweet, the flaky danish offset it with that light crunch but fluffy innards. Y'all, with each bite I just fell more in love. The Danish was so good that when I came to my last bite not only was I sad that it would soon be gone but I wanted to cry. Cry y'all. Over a Danish! Yes, do it. You only live once.
