Jeff's is consistent in taste and very conveniently open late hours which is great. The stores are always clean when you go in which is also great. The reason for my rating this particular time is because the last few times I've been to the Fern Creek location the staff is incredibly rude. Which is odd since other locations don't act that way. They come from the back and don't say anything, just stare at you until you start talking. As if they don't want to be there. It's never a welcome to Jeff's or hello, how can I help you? After payment isn't much better either. Not sure what's going on there. But anyway, it probably won't matter but I won't return to that location again. I visited your location in Fern Creek today. The young man that waited on me was wonderful. My problem is you never have specials. I work at a special needs school. I'd like to take donuts from here every now and then but who can afford 2.50 a doughnut for 30 people and that's just one doughnut most people like to have two. I asked the young man if you all ever run specials and he said no we really should but we never do and I don't know why. Please start having special specials. Jeff's donuts Lousiville very own 24/7 donut shop. After being a staple in the Saint Mathews area Jeff's has branched out and added more locations though out the city. This is the fern creek location that sits in a shopping center right off of bardstown road. Mt family is pumped that Jeff's is here in fern creek. The 24/7 availability is such a cool and unique feature and makes it perfect for a sometimes disorganized large family of 7 to get fresh donuts anytime we want. We have been regular visitors of the Saint Mathews location and now that there is one close by I'm sure we will be making endless mid morning donut runs, donuts for dinner runs and late night/early morning hour feed the slumber party donut runs. Now 24/7 isn't the only reason we love Jeff's. There donuts offer a huge variety and are so tasty and always fresh. Donuts come at $2 a donut no matter how many you order. The donuts are massive. About the size of a toddlers head. See the picture of my two year old attached for a demonstration. I've sampled pretty much all of there flavors but personally my go to is the chivalry nuts and cinnamon twists. My wife is a huge fan of the Buckeye style chocolate donut with a big blob on ornate butter on it. My oldest loves the apple and peach donuts and the others eat all the sprinkles and glazed donuts that they can shovel in. Overall so happy Jeff's is closer to us now. Our favorite local donut spot for many reasons. We came here opening day and much like the Saint Mathews location the service here was friendly, fast and accommodating. I'm so glad to see Jeff's Donuts pop up around town! Being open 24/7 is amazing, yet also dangerous due to the temptation lol. We've ordered their signature Texas Donut and it is MASSSIVE. Be sure to call ahead of time as it takes them a while to prepare it. I highly recommend their apple fritters, chocolate glazed, and cream cheese icing donuts. These are big, so 1 or 2 is often plenty to fill you up. It's so nice they offer hot coffee and cold milk for purchase, to perfectly compliment your delicious portable dessert :) Jeff's takes me home to my childhood bakery, Hadorn's from Bardstown. They have a ton of different donuts to choose from and unique options along with the classics. They are a bit pricey at $2.50 per donut. They were good but no better than any other spot I've been to. People said they were bigger but they seemed normal size to me. They were good but I will probably stick with other places that are cheaper. When I heard we were getting a Jeff's Donuts in Fern Creek, I was super excited! My dad took me to one of their other locations and hyped them up- they do not disappoint! Their donuts are huge and delicious and the customer service is great across the board. Consistency is very important to me when it comes to chains, local or national, and Jeff's Donuts is definitely consistent. They charge around $30 for a dozen assorted donuts, which in my opinion is a little expensive. HOWEVER, I will say on the flip side that you do get your money's worth. Without a doubt. These donuts are jumbo sized and super fresh. I've had an old donut before so I'd like to think I can tell LOL. Another thing I like about them is that they have so many different choices! They had fruity pebble, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, a giant honey bun that was the size of my head, and caramel apple (with real caramelized apples on top) to name a few! They also have your standard donuts if you're not feeling adventurous (ex. Glazed, chocolate cake donut, powdered twist, jelly filled, etc). My advice to you if you have not been would be to PLEASE go and try this place. I'm not super into donuts but I've already eaten several over the last few days. Me and my daughter decided to get up early today and taste the infamous Jeff's Donut. I have always heard great things about Jeff's and been wanting to try them for a while. Jeff open up this location a few months ago. They are open 24/7, so whenever you want donuts, you can run to Jeff's. My daughter chose the donut with sprinkles and she couldn't wait to get home to chow down on it. Lol. I got the powdered twist donut and it was really good! My daughter said the best thing about her donut was the icing. They had complimentary Apple fritter donuts to taste while we decided on our order. I was going to pass on tasting it, but glad I didn't. The Apple fritter sampler was so tasty and delicious! I should have ordered that donut. The staff was really nice and greeted us upon entering the store. The location and inside the shop was very welcoming. We will be back again! read more

This place is the bomb. Very large donuts in various flavors that are soft melt in your mouth delicious heaven. I ate all eight of mine in the same day. I don't give this rate for their donuts or coffee but for the staff at this location. I really like Jeffs donuts but the last few times I have got to the St. Mathew's in the afternoon. They had no coffee. Was told after a certain time they don't keep coffee fresh. I went there May 9 around 1 the staff sweeping and I started to ask about the coffee and she told me before I asked that it wasn't fresh. Didn't offer to make any and I just turned and left. Donuts are expensive and for the price you would expect them to be fully cooked. Multiple times we have gotten them and they are not cooked all the way. We get there about 7 and most of the cases are empty with no variety. It used to be good and is quickly going downhill. Judy is the best though. Very sweet. read more

The BEST doughnuts. Everything is hand made. I got the cream filled with chocolate icing, cream filled with caramel icing, zinger, jelly filled, and custard filled. WOW is all I can say.
