I think I had the rose tea latte, Please get your drink for here and stay awhile, it is such a beautiful space and clean. A little bit tight but do yourself a favor and check out the outside and enjoy yourself. The drink is a little on the sweet side if you like that sort of thing.
Phalcha is a fantastic gem! Good Coffee, matcha, and great vibes! Looks like this establishment was somebody's home at one point in time.. They did a great job decorating.
This is one of my favorite spots. If you're looking for an innovative way to drink coffee, Phalcha is the place for you. I love the seasonal trios.
Super coffee shop in Louisville with the most unique flavor options. The barristers are friendly and patient while you decided which drink to try! The drinks, the cups, the decor all so cute! The pistachio latte is not the most photogenic of the options but the taste so good.
I love this little coffee shop and their vibe. I come here to meet up with Michael or make derivative art. They have a small menu that they do very well. Their pricing is reasonable, and the place is always very clean. My only complaint is that there are usually people here having loud conversations when I want to work about the weird problems that evangelical have or on weird evangelical dates. I thought your church had coffee shops, but I was wrong. Also, its tough for this nosey therapist not to ask follow up questions. This is a great place to produce ribbon of art or have a drink with friends. Also a great place to hustle creepy dates.
Really unique drinks that are absolutely gorgeous!! Felt like an Instagram influencer posting these photos!! Each one has perfect layers and cute toppings (petals, toasted marshmallow, cookie). We tried the two coffee flights they offered; some of the options were a little unique and I probably wouldn't order a full size one, but it was a really fun experience to try them all! We also had a duvet stuffed with crab and a blueberry scone which were delicious
Visited on a weekday morning and really enjoyed this place! There's a good amount of street parking nearby. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy, although there aren't a ton of seats, so might be hard to get one if it's busy. Prosciutto sandwich was really good, and a good size too. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Overall a great experience!
I had initially planned to go to Hinterhoff Coffee, however, due to road repairs/maintenance there were no parking spots. A ventured a block away and ended up at Phalcha. Fortunately there was a parking spot near the building and I had a coffee and a chocolate croissant there. Service and coffee were very good and the chocolate croissant was light and airy. It was one of the best croissants I've had in quite a while.
Loved!!! Adorable coffee shop! The wall decor everything was a vibe. My friend and I got coffee flights which were great! Nice to try some different flavors, there were a few we weren't huge fans of though. The flights were prepared perfectly and garnished beautifully!
The coffee options are so fun. The flights (original and fall themed) were amazing and a perfect portion of each drink. We also got the avocado sandwich that was also pretty amazing. Not the best service. Not super warm / friendly and despite it being a new place, not very informative. However, the vibe and coffees were really good. Whether you're looking for a coffee date and chat or reading / focusing this is a nice place to try! Despite the service, I will be going back!
Overall a Cozy Spot with great coffee and unique options. My mom and I ordered their seasonal fall drink tray and the regular. The matcha: Pretty good quality, all the grassy, smooth notes you want in the matcha came through and it was a very comforting experience. Solid quality matcha. It tasted better than the typical culinary grade and more like ceremonial grades I've tried. The Strawberry Rose Espresso: As a big tea drinker I know a good rose drink and this hit the spot. It was a very nice blend of espresso, rose and strawberry that allowed each note of the ingredients shine through. The espresso was pretty light and didn't come through strong like a lot of other places do which surprised me. For this drink it worked well. The Ube: Fantastic vanilla, buttery warm notes and the marshmallow was a fun touch. I've had many Taro and Ube drinks/ice creams and desserts and this wasn't lacking. The other drinks I didn't particularly enjoy and they weren't memorable for me. I think their espresso isn't very strong and the darker more chocolate notes don't come through like I'm used to. I believe it was a lighter roast from what I tasted in the drinks. If you like that then you'll like the espresso. Overall a good spot with a nice selection of shots/drinks for those wanting to expand their palate.
Such a cool ambiance for a Louisville coffee shop. Good craft coffee is hard to find in a city filled with pour over obsessive hipsters; I feel this is a much needed add to Louisville coffee culture. Service was fast and kind, and got to play some of the board/card games while eating an incredible prosciutto sammy. Will be back everytime I come home.
The decor in this place is very cute and cozy. There's a good amount of indoor seating, along with shaded outdoor seating on their patio. It's always busy so be prepared to duel for a table. The Roseberry latte is my favorite but, in general, all of the drinks here are on the sweeter side. I prefer naked or half-clothed coffee drinks -- just black or with a splash of milk -- and occasionally I'll splurge on some sweetened cold foam. But this is more like dessert coffee. This was my second visit, and I just discovered that they serve food. I didn't order any since I had just eaten but the toasts looked very yummy. I'll return occasionally for a treat or to chill in the inside seating area.
Really cute coffee shop in Louisville! Me and my friend were in town and looking for some coffee in the morning and decided to go to this place. They have wonderful coffee flights with really unique flavors and seasonal menu items. The inside of the shop is really cute, small but enough chairs to be able to find a place to sit. We ordered the normal ube latte and dirty ube latte which was amazing! Coffee paired beautifully with the ube and it wasn't overly sweet. The normal ube latte was good, very creamy and milky. I was driving by and randomly spotted Phalcha Coffee, so obviously I had to stop! I had no idea what was going to be on the menu, but when I walked in, I thought it was SO adorable. And then I got very lucky because they had an ube matcha--and ube matcha is one of my favorite things! I was actually trying to decide between that and the rose latte, but the ube matcha won this time and it was delicious. I'm pretty sure I'll be back because there were several other things on the menu that I want to try. I saw some other people order a flight of four different drinks, and I am very interested in trying that . I love finding little places like this completely by accident! read more
I love Phalcha!! The inside is a cozy cute coffee shop with tables and some comfy couch/chairs. The service is very quick, and everyone is really helpful. I LOVED the avocado toast. It was perfectly crisp, plenty of avocado, and had great flavor. They give you an extra slice of bread too, which helps make the perfect avocado to bread bite. The Ube matcha is one of my favorite drinks ever, and the fact that they make it look so pretty is a bonus. Love love love! read more

- yummy and fun - great area - expensive My friend got the Iced coffee flight - rose-strawberry, ube, matcha, butterscotch from the left to the right. She said it was super good, super refreshing and not too sweet. It was hard picking a favorite but if I were just choosing one I'd probably go back to the butterscotch. Ube latte I got was fantastic. I got it only lightly sweetened and that was perfect. It tasted like I was drinking a baked good. Dirty latte was the ube latte with expresso. We got this regular sweetened and it was a bit too sweet but great. Prosciutto toast was delicious, and a good amount of food. Avocado toast was more filling and also nice but nothing special. The bread in both were the best part. It was a sandwich so we actually took home our extra bread. Lots of good seating, great natural light and a back patio, very cute decor. I was there on a busy Saturday morning so this could be why but the tables were a bit dirty. Overall I love this place for a treat but the prices were pretty high. read more

The shop is so cute!! They have ice cream and food but we stuck to drinks this time. It was our first time in so we decided to go with the flight of their speciality drinks. They were all very Instagram worthy by looks and tasted great. I'm surprised to say I think the beet drink was my favorite of the flight. We tried the strawberry matcha as well and that was extra yummy, it will be my go to when we go back. They had a nice little back area as well, would be a great place to sit and read a book. read more

Excellent, unique coffees. The menu was diverse and fun. The drinks exceeded my expectations. The cafe itself was decorated well -- it was so cute! This would've been a 5 star review but I deducted 2 stars due to the service. I found that the employees seem overly occupied with hanging out with one another and talking rather than helping their customers with their questions. Poor customer service unfortunately ruins any experience, even if the coffee is great. read more
I visited Phalcha on a hot summer afternoon in Louisville. I tried the dirty Ube Latte based on the staff's recommendation. It was excellent. The flavors were unique, smooth and perfectly balanced with just the right touch of sweetness and espresso. The staff was warm and helpful which made the experience even better. The cozy ambiance adds to its charm and makes it a great spot to relax. read more

Went to Phalcha on a Sunday morning around 945am and it was packed! Street parking. Ordered a cortado and coffee flight. It took 35 minutes to get both because of how crowded it was. Husband really enjoyed his cortado. The flight was sweet and tasty but I wish there was more of the drink/less foam. I would need another coffee afterwards as well. Would like to return when less crowded and order a regular drink. Pastries were tasty but I should have asked to have them warmed up. read more

The sandwich and coffee I enjoyed here were remarkable quality and taste. Their espresso has a wonderful smooth flavor, which paired very nicely with their Ube latte! The avocado sandwich was a good size for the price and tasted great, was fresh and warm as well. read more
The most creative and incredible Cafe in town! I absolutely love the Staff. They're so kind and engaged. They have the most creative drinks I've seen almost anywhere. Their beautiful flight of four or five exquisitely crafted beverages is like a complete Instagram package all for $18 and although their menu is extremely limited--what they have is exquisite. I don't like fish, but one day I was craving a tuna salad sandwich and I believe I had some divine guidance bring me to this café because it was the best tuna salad sandwich I've ever had in my life and now I'm telling everyone it is the best tuna salad sandwich in the world. Very fresh albacore tuna I believe on a grilled sourdough (at least four of the five sandwiches I had felt like the bread was grilled like a grilled cheese) one I had was just very crispy toast--which wasn't as good as the others. Fresh arugula, little baby tomatoes, and balsamic reduction. It was a piece of art and as I'm writing this, I'm craving one and probably will go in a minute. A beautiful find in the neighborhood. It gave a cozy quaint, feeling with plants alongside the walls nicely lit with all different types of coffee. The drinks we had got were toffee drink, and rose coffee. It was so delicious. Owners were very nice. read more

Finally made it to Phalcha! It almost had us leaving immediately due to the lack of seating to enjoy what we were eyeing, but we got so lucky with a table of two opening after we placed a drink order to go. So first thing to know - it's a small space inside during poor weather. The patio does open up more areas to sit when the days are prettier. I was brought in for a flight. They offer a standing version of 4 drinks, iced or hot, and I purchased the winter flight hot. It included a peppermint, sesame and s'mores latte. In all ways it was beautiful. Now that I've done it, I will stick to their general menu. The peppermint latte hit as expected and the s'mores too, although sweet. The sesame was ... awful. If you've ever blown up a balloon and noticed the chalky flavor on your tongue - that is what it tasted like. Neither my husband nor I could stomach it. The Ube latte was sweeter than I expected but decent. My favorite was my iced strawberry rose latte. I'd order this again. Food - the waffle was delicious and a nice size. The grilled cheese was excellent too and we loved the dipping sauce, a pepper honey. They have a decent menu so that you can fill up your empty stomach. Service was great. The team hustled in their small kitchen space. Street parking available. Clean bathroom. We did leave with a lingering smell of grease on our clothes and hair. My guess is that was from the grilled of food happening in the kitchen space. We didn't notice it while there but I was self conscious about it after leaving and visiting other shopping spots. read more
This may be one of my favorite coffee shops that we visited while in Louisville, I really wished we had the time to sit down and enjoy one of those flights. But the drinks we did get were delightful. I got the ube matcha and my husband got the ube latte. We were so excited to see this coffee nearby our Airbnb and for a Saturday morning they were BUSY. There were no free seats in house, and folks kept coming in to order. So so incredible. My ube matcha was so good, the ube flavor was not too sweet and the matcha mixed with it perfectly. The ube latte was the perfect flavoring of coffee and ube. When we got to the car the drinks barely lasted more than a few red lights because it was so good we finished it so quickly! I wish we had more time to try other drinks on their menu before we left town. But definitely a must visit next time we're in town! read more

I. LOVE. THIS. COFFEE SHOP!!!! We were driving from ATL to Chicago.. We missed this coffee joint cuz we were already in Indiana but otw home... u darn skippy we made a stop here! I HAD to try this coffee flight!! It's $16 and worth it! The inside was full but that was ok cuz the backyard was super cute! I love weeping willow trees and it just felt so amazing that we could sit rite under one. So my favorite of all the coffees was the Strawberry Rose and Pandan. I mean, all of them were good but these 2 were just... SPECTACULAR!!! Like, if we ever come back here I would just order these on its own. Can't wait to come back :) read more

I cannot get over this place! Literally did a double take when I took my first sip of the flight because I didn't expect it to be that good. Such a great option to be able to try a variety of flavors. Cute decor and great vibes. Super easy to find parking, service was quick, and staff was nice. It's a small place but I went on a Thursday afternoon and was able to snag a table. First time here and I will definitely be back. read more

What a great place! Finally made my way here after months of wanting to try it. It's so cute and cozy. It's small, but inviting, and full of color and plants. The service was kind and helpful. But the drinks are amazing. I had to be that person and get the viral ice coffee flight-- did not disappoint. All sorts of sweet flavors to choose from and the presentation was on point. The blueberry scone was super flavorful too! I will absolutely be going back to try more. read more

Phalcha -- oh, you have a place in my heart. This is such a special spot. And that's not only because it's so fun to take photos here. I finally got to try the iced coffee flight, which comes with matcha, butterscotch, ube and strawberry rose latte. This is so fun, and a great way to try these inventive flavors. I was surprised to find the strawberry rose latte with petals on top of the foam to be my favorite, followed by the ube with the toasted marshmallow on top. I also enjoyed a croissant and a dirty ube latte to go. Phalcha isn't your typical coffee shop, and for that reason, I'm thankful. Don't sleep on this creative spot. read more
