A very pleasant experience trying out a new place and a new stylist. Will be back Beverly rocks!

Poor hair color experience. Salon hair color charts are not updated. Records of what color combination was used on a client is shared only after escalation to salon manager. The attitude from salon manager - trust us to decide what color to use on your hair is unsettling. read more

I was very disappointed with my recent experience at this salon. I invested over $400 plus a $100 tip, expecting professional results and service, but unfortunately that was not the case. 1. Service Quality - My highlights came out yellow/orange and uneven, without proper toning or blending. The stylist also did not provide the blowout that was part of the service, and I was sent home with wet hair. 2. Follow-Up Visit - I had to return the next day just to receive a toner, yet again I left with wet hair. For the price, I expected a polished, finished look, not multiple trips and unfinished service. 3. Customer Care - When I raised my concerns with management, instead of an apology or solution, I was told that the stylist "shouldn't have taken me because she stayed late." This response felt dismissive and unprofessional. Overall, I left feeling undervalued as a customer, despite the significant amount of money and time spent. A simple acknowledgment and correction would have gone a long way, but unfortunately, that never happened. Emily, Hair Stylist and Kelly management/owner. read more

Bri did a phenomenal job with my hair that was severely damaged by my own doing. She made suggestions, used product to smooth out the damage, and made my hair manageable. My hair is much healthier now than it has been in a long time. Some people have a 'boatload" of talent, but I can honestly say Bri has a "cruise ship" of talent. Thank you Bri! read more

I'm so disappointed to have to leave this review because I used to really love coming here. Recently, I had an appointment cancel on me right before my sister's wedding which was unfortunate. I also once waited over an hour for my appointment only to be told the colorist couldn't take me because her current appointment went way over since she didn't like her updo and had to do it all over again. Then, this morning I was canceled on again the day of a family event. Left high and dry today, I have no options left because they are booked. Most of the colorists are fabulous, but have walked out with hair dye splattered around my hairline. I wanted to keep giving them a chance, however the frequent cancellations have me avoiding this salon all together. So bummed out. read more

What a truly exceptional experience it is going for a manicure and pedicure with Jill at Jeffrey Lamorte in Frankfort. I love the welcoming staff who are friendly and knowledgeable about all the products. They remember my name and know exactly why I am there as soon as I walk through the door. Jill is always on time and her expertise, professionalism and attention to detail makes me comfortable and puts me at ease. My gel manicures lasts for weeks without a single chip and Jill always finds me the perfect color for any occasion. The products used for pedicures are wonderful. The atmosphere is clean and well managed and it feels inviting and relaxing at the same time. Highly recommend being pampered by Jill. read more

Dakota is absolutely wonderful. She's personable, attentive, and truly listens to her clients. She works efficiently and consistently does an amazing job. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does--she's always pleasant, upbeat, and professional. It's refreshing to see someone so clearly doing what they're meant to do, and it makes the entire experience feel easy and enjoyable as a client read more

I LOVE THIS SALON!! Oh my gosh first of all the girls at the front desk are always so nice and helpful. They always help me pick out what products to buy. They have a very good assortment and it's so cute inside. For hair, definitely go to Bev, Jill, or Emma!! They are all sooo talented and great at hair color & cuts. I've gone to all 3 before and love them all. Also prices are very reasonable and they offer a ton of services such as facials, nails, massages, etc. I loved the facial I got here too they are always my go to salon read more

They tried to pressure me to add services that I specifically did not want to maintain my hair health. Finally they turned me away because of "scheduling issues". But it was a blessing. Planet Color Salon got me in right away. Caroline my stylist at Planet Color was younger, but was a pro, actually listened to my hair goals and boundaries without overreach, and got as close to my inspiration photo as she could with the services I requested and without adding on unnecessary, damaging, costly services that would harm my hair and look temporarily good. Instead she did what worked on me instead of trying to copy flat Instagram trends and throwing a barrel curl over it. The results and final cost at Planet Color Salon was refreshing compared to my usual experience at Jeffrey Lamorte. I will officially be making the switch :) read more

Gave this family my business for decades, but when Jeff, the owner, commented on his employee, an assistant's breast size due to her pregnancy - in front of clients - that was it for me. She was mortified, and likely had no recourse. read more

I went once last winter, I specifically asked for highlights and long layers. The stylist put large amounts of dye on the top of my head and told me all over color would cover my grey - I had specifically said I didn't care about covering the grey hair and that all over color stained my skin. She disagreed and didn't do it carefully. Several people at work commented on it the next day and it was embarrassing. It was over $120 for someone with no experience who didn't listen and I gave her a tip, as she was inexperienced and I didn't know how bad it was until I left and got home. She also left me with dye on my head in a waiting room with people walking in and out instead of at her seat. She took a break and did not have another person there, so I'm not sure why I could not have sat in the seat out of the waiting room, especially since it was cold and the front door blew in cold wind when I had wet hair. Then she didn't cut layers and told me it would look better all one length and cut it the way she wanted it. Overall nice looking salon but thoughtless service - at least from my stylist that day. I took an online survey and criticized them, no one followed up. To be fair, I could have been more aggressive and said no, but she acted before I had the chance. read more

CORA is amazing. I came to her in a rush after I asked her to fix my hair color and she was so patient & understand with me. She talked me through each step of the process and updated/checked on me frequently. I will be switching to her from now on because she's the kindest & best hair stylist I have been to. read more

Jeffrey LaMorte - Hair Color - Day Spas Near Me - Frankfort, Illinois

Scheduled a 30 minute pedicure ,was done it 17 minutes. She used her thumbnail to push back my cuticle. I said please stop you are hurting me, please use a stick. She seemed disgusted that I requested that. I went to pay, there were 3 young women working the counter, one was on the phone taking appointments, the other 2 were talking to a friend who happen to stop by. There were 3 people waiting yo check out, but they didn't see to care. The final staw was when I got in the car I looked at my feet and there was a big chip in my big toe, polish wasn't on hood and it was chipped and uneven! I was to disgusted to go back in, but I wish I would have. Never ho there again!! read more

I saw Lexi for the 1st time the other day for a haircut and balayage. She was very professional and knowledgeable. I hadn't had a haircut in a year. My hair is long, thick,& takes lots of time, especially to achieve the look I was going for. The salon was busy. She still took her time, was honest with me (in a good way)& gave me a great haircut. My color came out absolutely amazing. I also had Penny do my haircut and keratin treatment a year ago& both services came out great! These 2 stylists are amazing! They work very well together. I didn't feel like a number. I will definitely be back! read more

You only get one chance to make a first impression, and this salon knocked it out of the park. I made an appointment for a mani/pedi based on a recommendation from my sister who lives in the area and could not be more happy with the service or the genuinely nice people who work here. I arrived wearing a mask and was asked a series of health questions to ensure the safety of employees and clients. The girl asking the questions was both polite and professional. The salon is spotless. No dust or hair on the floor or the retail shelves. While waiting for my service I observed tons of cleaning going on with an emphasis on high-traffic touch points. The pedicure chair was comfortable and had a nice massage feature. Each pedicure chair was separated by a clear shield so you could still see everyone around you. All employees were wearing a mask, and more importantly, wearing them the correct way. I didn't see a nose or a mouth the entire time I was there, LOL!!! I was fortunate to have an appointment with Lindsay. In a nutshell, she's fabulous. Besides being very friendly and easy to chat with, her work is immaculate and precise. I've never had anyone pay such attention to detail when doing a pedicure. My nails were cut and filed gently. After applying the polish to each nail, Lindsay painstakingly used a brush soaked in acetone around each nail plate to ensure there was no bleedover of color. Calluses were smoothed over and I was given the choice of warm towels and a shorter foot massage or no towels and a longer foot massage. Who wouldn't choose the longer foot massage???? My manicure was just as good. All the filing is done by hand, which is a lost art these days and something you definitely don't get at an average nail place. Lindsay took her time and shaped my nails exactly how I asked and made them as short as I wanted them with no complaints, all the while making great conversation and making me feel at home and relaxed. This was my first post-covid manicure and my cuticles were a mess. Lindsay was gentle but determined to get them cleaned up correctly. After weeks of quarantine, my first salon visit was truly a treat. I walked in as a new customer and left being a new client. Thanks for a fabulous experience, Lindsay! read more

Booked a prenatal massage (listed on their website), showed up to my appointment only to be told once in the massage room that they do not offer prenatal massages at this location. Despite the fact that I called and booked one via their receptionist. After speaking with the manager she offered me nothing for my inconvenience, saying "we have a lot of new reception staff, Il let them know." Very unprofessional salon. read more

I would not even give this salon a one star. They made me drive an hour away to find out that the stylist was excitedly overbooked and I had to see another stylist. I was not happy with that. After speaking to a manager she did not accommodate me at all and asked me to reschedule. This is not a way to do business and customers are supposed to be 100% satisfied. I understand we're all human and we do make mistakes but the manager should take that up on her employees and not make it an inconvenient for us customers!! The owner replied to my review and he's also full of iSH#%* The weather had nothing to do when I had my appt scheduled! It was a beautiful sunny day. SMH read more

So far so good. I went to this salon for the first time to use the service of a nail technician. Gillian welcome to be back to her station shortly after I walked in. I was embarrassed to arrive a bit late, but she made me feel very comfortable as though it were no big deal. I explained my nail problems to her. I told her that I was interested in trying to no chip gel application. She agreed that that would be a great place to start with my nails. She explained each step to me along the way, and we discussed a plan for future applications as my nails grow out. I like my nails to look as natural as possible and I was pleased that Gillian was on the same wavelength and completely understood what I am looking for in future applications when we switch to a French manicure with a very natural look. Since I am new to the salon and to Gillian my future experiences will hopefully bear out my current opinion of great satisfaction. I made an appointment for my next manicure and for a pedicure. I'm actually looking forward to it and anticipating a lovely result. Stay tuned... read more

I really liked how my balayage turned out. The staff was friendly too. It is usually pretty busy

I love this place!! My friend recommended this salon and, specifically, Stacie. Stacie did an amazing job on my hair!!! I have yet to find a hairstylist that I love; and I think I have found her! I drove an hour to give her a try and let me tell you she's well worth it. Everyone there is so nice; a very clean place too! Next appointment already booked! Definitely give this place a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

I normally go to the Orland Park location (and sometimes the Frankfort location) for a quick toner or blowout. I see Taylor at the Orland Park location and Sam at the Frankfort location. All 3 of their salons are the best!! - Customer service is fantastic. All the staff are super nice and friendly! - Stylists are all very precessional. I normally see Taylor in Orland for color every 2-3 months. She's the best! - The owner Jeff is always in the salons and takes customers as well. That's very unusual for me to see. Normally, you don't see the owner just show up in the salons to take customers! That makes me feel really warm and fuzzy. He's also super nice, professional and you can tell that he really cares about his customers and employees. - During Covid, not only do they follow the state guidelines (temp check, require everyone to wear a mask, etc), they also sanitize the place non-stop. I feel very comfortable getting my hair done there. - Their price is very reasonable compared to all the fancy salons I used to go to in the city!! You literally get the royal service and treatment! They deserve many 5 star reviews. Just an FYI, this is not an ad. I really love this salon! I am just a customer who appreciates great service and ethics. read more

I was a longtime client here and recommended many people come here. I will no longer be after they have driven both my esthetician and stylist out. I made an appointment blindly with a head designer. I have really pretty gray blonde hair long for an older woman. There is a cut couple inches off some long layers. What I got was one long layer on the right side that no matter what I did to my hair it was like a bump coming out about neck length and then the rest of my hair underneath hanging.I couldn't get rid of this bump.Hated hated hated my haircut. read more

Went in for an updo $65.00 30 mins later -Looked like crap . Not happy at all!!!!!!! I had a black tie event at 6:00 .. Took my frizzy hair and pinned up ends. Complete Disappointment- One of the stylist had an advertisement on social media that she was in need of haircut models. I promptly volunteered and we had several exchanges over a private message in regards to day and time. I arrived on time at the salon for my appointment with C. She then tells me that I must have the wrong day. I show her my phone with the messages. She then tells me that I will have to wait for her to take another client because she booked both of us at the same time. After making arrangements for my children I was not about to wait for someone who can't even schedule appointments. It's unfortunate that a salon of this quality allows for their stylist to offer this kind of customer service. read more

I like how they have multiple services in one place!! Ideal for bridal groups, or simply wanting to have your nails, hair and make up done all in one place. As long as there's no 30 min. I do not recommenced Jeffrey Lamorte. I recently got my hair and make up done there and first, for my make up my eye lashes fell off within 15 minutes after leaving. Not only my eye lashes, but my make up peeled off. For my hair, they didn't put in any hair spray and my hair lasted probably an hour. I called to come back to get everything fixed, they were extremely rude to me. I spoke with the manager who was so unpleasant and didn't let me obtain any sort of credit. Per our phone call when I scheduled the appointment, I obtained the name of the receptionist who said the price and they told me a price after I was completed of $40 higher than what I was told and didn't do anything about it. This place is awful. Management is rude and clueless and they are way to expensive. Go elsewhere. Plus, make up and hair is ugly here anyways. On start rating is way to high in my book. read more

Lauren L. did an awesome job matching my color from another product line. She was as sweet and accommodating As can be. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 for the overall salon experience. I'm coming from a comparable salon experience from my home town. I missed a head massage during hair washing. And if I do a service I have never paid for a bang trim. I will definitely go back because my color looks great! read more

Ugh-went there when I stopped going to the Orland location because my stylist left. In the interim, I had a bad color experience so I specifically told Paige what I did not want THREE times. You know where this is going. Got exactly what I asked her NOT to do. When I mentioned this to her, she said "well next time I won't do that then."????Hello, why would I be back if I've asked you not to do something three times and you STILL do it.?? So I ask to speak to a manager, who was not there. So I call the next day and speak to Elaine who tells me she will speak with Paige and get back to me, within the next day. Still waiting for that call.....Suffice to say the complete lack of color knowledge and ability and the overall lack of professionalism makes me say, go elsewhere. UPDATE--So a week later Kelly the manager calls me, leaves me a voice mail and it's obvious that she has no clue what the problem was and why she was calling me. On top of it, after my first hair cut here they sent me a 10% off card. I forgot it at home and they made me drive home to get it! Granted my fault that I didn't have it with me, but are you serious? They knew they had this as a promotion , they couldn't just input it??Ridiculous. This whole adventure would be laughable had I not been footing the bill for all of their gaffes. read more

I wouldn't even want to say how long I've been going to this salon, because a woman never reveals her age! :-) I get my hair cut & colored with Jeff himself (love him). I'm all about the convenience of booking my own appointments online, and also love the point system that gives you salon credit back. I couldn't recommend this salon more! read more
