They came out in a very timely manner to provide a quote. Corvair clearly explains the work he is carrying out and is very knowledgeable at what he does. Their team is hard-working on-site. Upon discovering some further issues, he offered options on how to proceed, some of which involved more work but when he reached those decision points he was very clear and prompt as to what the benefit of the additonal work at the time. I trust the quality and of their work and will keep coming back to Charge Construction. Him and his team do great work and the prices are fair for the quality of service provided. Thanks to my raging addiction to HGTV I knew exactly what I wanted to do in there and contacted Brian about my vision in mind. He is the most laid back dude, super chill and easy to work with. Brian does beautiful tile work, he made some very helpful suggestions about the tile and how to lay it so it would look the nicest. Aside from the tile work, he also changed out the shower head, replaced the vanity sink and installed faucets and a new backsplash, replaced the mirror, light fixture and toilet. Oh! Kelly B recommended Brian at Two Ells. I called him that day, left a message. He returned the message that day and we set up a time for an estimate. I love prompt responsiveness, and right off the bat, I had a good feeling about Brian. My parents haven't had any major work done in their 1980-built house since they moved in, circa 1984. Partly because they didn't want to spend the money and partly because it can be difficult finding an honest, affordable contractor, which has to do with the first reason really. Two of the several things I'm super grateful for regarding the way Brian works are his honesty and his ability to see projects in a cost-effective way. He is also extremely patient. My Mom had some health issues arise during our plans and Brian was so patient with us and having to push the date back (& our slacking on picking out materials, mostly because my mom is a perfectionist procrastinator). While we were waiting on the bathroom finalization, Brian painted our upstairs hallway and our family room and did a great job. He also replaced all of the gross fluorescent tube lighting in our kitchen and powder room with recessed lighting. I swear if you can only change one thing in a house built in the 70's-80's, the upgrade in lighting will make a WORLD of difference. My parents home only has one shower so it was VITAL that the tub and shower tile work was done relatively quickly. Brian and Bryce had the tub, tiles, and fixtures installed and ready to be used in 3.5 days. We were blown away with how quickly they worked and how beautiful the tile work turned out. The remainder of the bathroom work (new floor, new toilet, new lighting, painting, new doors, new vanity and counter top) took about 7-8 work days, at the most. We had a delay in getting the vanity and counter top from the materials supplier, but Brian checked in every couple of days to let us know what was going on. The project altogether probably took about 10 days. To remodel a full bathroom. Yay! I highly recommend Two Ells. Their pricing for our projects was SUPER reasonable and Brian is a really good, honest guy. He had great communication with us throughout our projects. We had estimates from a couple of other contractors initially but we got the best feeling from Brian and knew he was the man for our job! We look forward to working more with him in the future! Keith was originally hired to install hardwood flooring. Keith measured the flooring and instructed…read moreme to purchase the flooring from a local business. I purchased the product and waited for the material to acclamate. After six months of waiting for Keith he began the job in the beginning of April. I expressed to him my desire to have all white trim doors and wanted to replace my doors and trim with all white . Keith assured me That my doors were solid oak and that both the trim and doors would look perfect if He prepped and painted them. The first day of Keith arriving he was late and told Me he would be there a week prior. His son Devin began painting the bathroom Door on the hinges and it was not sanded or prepped. He put gloss on gloss. And it immediately began to peel. I expressed my concern to Keith as he promised the doors Would be removed sanded and prepped prior to painting and he assured me he would Fix the problem. Days later after promising to arrive Prior Keith and Devin started the flooring. They came and went as they pleased and I was told the work would only take a week. Keith asked for a "deposit" which was much over the work he completed. He recieved the deposit and I realized there was not enough wood to complete the project . He deflected and made an excuse that He thought i only wanted two rooms done. There were three rooms with hardwood why would I want two done? He told me that prior to contacting him he checked To see if the business still had hardwood in stock and all I would have to do was buy hardwood and he would Do it "free of charge". This was a lie. The place I purchased hardwood from no longer had it in stock. To get the hardwood I would have To buy online and pay four times the price. After reaching out to Keith several times and Keith telling me he was going to finish work he never did. The work that was done was amateur and unprofessional. The mitered trim and the shoe paneling he put Around fireplace was awful. Poor quality and workmanship. Did not stand by his mission statement. Did not complete or fix the work he was paid to do. Left the job with the trash he promised to take.
