Edited to add: I was told by a salesman at the place I did buy a bronco from that Jeff Haas can't take a check from navy fed because navy fed won't do business with them because they scammed NFCU's customers too many times. I've bought numerous cars with a pre approved check from NFCU with zero issues at several LEGITIMATE dealerships. This place isn't. Now I can't get them to stop emailing me no matter how many times I click unsubscribe. Scammers... I was ready to drive up and buy a bronco for $51,002 with 8k miles but something seemed off so I called and asked if there are any dealer required add on's or anything and Reyna put me on hold and went and checked with someone and came back and said yes, $2500 reconditioning fee is required. I told her I won't be buying this car then and hung up. A short time later I got a call from Todd who seemed like he called me by accident and I told him what happened and he said thats not accurate and sent me to Sam who sent me a price via email with an out the door price and I was happy about that. So I am on yelp reading these reviews and see how many people have the same misunderstanding and it gives me bad vibes. I then see someone's screenshot below showing the fees and at the top it says they don't take drafts from outside lenders. I find this odd so I email Sam and say I wanted to pay with a personal check for 20k and a NFCU pre approved loan check for 35k and he said they would only take an actual cashier's check. So basically they are forcing you to use their in-house financing with who knows what banks and who knows at what terms. Update: A Vietnamese-speaking representative from the dealership contacted me and spoke with management. They offered $27,500 OTD and said they would check whether the visible dent could be repaired. However, $27,500 is still above my $26,500 maximum budget. I also remain concerned that the vehicle had visible dent and paint damage that I discovered in person but was not disclosed on the Carfax report I reviewed. This discrepancy was a major reason I questioned the price. Edited to add: Thank you for your response. I understand your no-haggle pricing policy, but I disagree that this is simply a request for an additional $1,000 discount. When I inspected the vehicle in person, I found multiple areas of visible exterior damage, including paint damage/scratches and a dent. The vehicle history report did not disclose this damage. This is important because the advertised/history information did not give me a complete picture of the vehicle's actual condition. A clean Carfax does not change the fact that the vehicle has visible damage that I personally discovered during my inspection. If the vehicle was already priced to account for this damage, then I believe a reasonable question is: how much of the price was actually adjusted specifically because of this damage? I am still a serious cash buyer. If management is willing to make a reasonable adjustment based on the actual condition of the vehicle, I am willing to reconsider the purchase. I would appreciate your management's best OTD price including all taxes and fees, with no add-ons. If you are saying the vehicle was already discounted because of the damage, please show me how that damage was reflected in the pricing. The vehicle being $X below market does not automatically mean the specific damage was properly accounted for. I came in seriously interested in purchasing a used 2025 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition. I was a cash buyer and was ready to purchase the vehicle that day. I personally inspected the vehicle and found significant paint damage/chipping in multiple areas. I brought this up during the negotiation. The salesperson, Brandt Jacobs, repeatedly told me the damage had already been accounted for in the price. The initial OTD price was $28,044.13. After negotiating, they eventually presented $27,727.50 OTD as their "final" price. I simply asked if they could do better considering the actual condition of the vehicle and the paint damage I had personally found. Instead of having a professional discussion, the manager, Sam Zayid, became dismissive and I was eventually told to leave. At one point, I was also told that they prefer to work with "real people, not AI." That was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. I understand that a dealership does not have to accept my offer. If the price is firm, that's fine. But there is a big difference between saying "we can't go any lower" and making a customer feel unwelcome simply for negotiating. I left without purchasing the vehicle. The issue was not that they wouldn't accept my offer -- it was the way I was treated after I asked for a fair price based on the actual condition of the car. I requested first responders discount and was told that they no longer honor that discount. needless to say I wasn't very happy about that especially because it is advertised on their website. I have purchased many vehicles over the years, and my experience with Jeff Haas Mazda was by far the worst I have ever encountered. As a result, they have permanently lost me as a customer. This dealership consistently demonstrated dishonesty in both the information it provided and the pricing tactics it used. Their approach shows a complete lack of respect for customers and relies on the assumption that people won't notice or question the hidden fees they attempt to slip into the transaction. Even worse, there is absolutely no transparency or documentation to support these fees -- no receipts, no terms and conditions, no explanations. When questioned, the sales team either cannot articulate what the fees are for or provides vague, nonsensical answers. For example, they could not provide a single piece of documentation explaining the terms of their $2,500 warranty program, which is completely unacceptable. Their behavior reflects a dealership with no integrity. They treat customers as nothing more than a source of revenue and make it clear through their actions that they do not value long-term relationships. Their only priority is extracting as much money as possible through misleading and dishonest tactics, including website pricing that does not match the actual price presented in person. I approached the sales engagement with honesty and was met with deceit. The moment they have your money, you no longer matter to them. Their lack of transparency, refusal to provide clear information, and willingness to push hidden fees is alarming and unethical. What needs to change? * Educate your sales team. Your sales team should understand the products they are selling, including warranties, protection plans, program requirements, etc.. Right now, they cannot explain even the basics. * Be transparent and upfront. Clearly communicate the actual vehicle price, all fees, warranties, etc. Stop relying on customers not noticing discrepancies between your advertised pricing and what you present in person. * Stop trying to take advantage of customers. If the price changes, be honest about it. Don't try to capitalize on the fact that your customer may not have noticed the change. * Learn how to handle customer concerns. When issues arise, listen instead of deflecting. During my experience, two different managers refused to take responsibility and instead redirected blame to their team. This lack of accountability reflects poorly on the entire dealership. A little goodwill would have gone a long way. This dealership failed at every level -- honesty, transparency, customer service, and basic professionalism. When confronted with their deceptive practices, they chose to deflect rather than make things right. I have never seen this level of deception or such poor judgment from a management team or dealership as a whole. I will never do business with Jeff Haas Mazda again, and I strongly encourage others to consider this experience before spending their time or money here. read more

As new Texas residents, we have some car errands to transfer our vehicles. I knew why my check engine light was on and expected that my car was going to be in the shop for a few days. I dropped my vehicle off at Jeff Haas Mazda on May 4. I wasn't provided a loaner car because there wasn't one available. Weird. I received a call back in a couple of days to tell me I can pick up a loaner car bc the work is going to take a little longer. Every 3 days or so my partner is calling to find out what is going on and we are always left leaving a voicemail that does not get returned. We finally get a text/video update on May 12 from the mechanic. After 2 weeks, the car is finally being diagnosed and we get a list of work to approve or decline. Almost 4 days later, we called back to find out they were still waiting on parts for my car. I'm not sure why all the parts are not ordered when the work is approved. Finally I get a text on May 26th that my car is ready for pick up. When I get there, we are told that was an error because they are still waiting for parts for a recall. While I appreciate the fact they checked my car for recalls, this should have been done during diagnostics. I was told my car would be ready by the next Tuesday. And here we are today! The rep who has been our main point of contact was not there, leaving another rep as the middle man between our last communications. After paying thousands of dollars in work, it would have been nice if they would have returned my car washed at the very least (I was told it would be test driven and washed. I also am accustomed to receiving a sticker on my windshield noting the mileage at the time of service which was not included. The service here seems very inefficient and the customer service is very lacking. It all makes for a tremendously negative customer experience. read more

Finance WARNING - I went here to buy a vehicle they listed online for ~$33,000. Drove it and it was great as was the sales staff. Decided I wanted to buy it and the cost was now around $40K, ok I'll offer midway. Got accepted and now it's time to finance, so I know my credit and ballpark. Finance manager hits me with +3% what I should be paying for APR with excellent credit. I let him know my range and he states he doesn't need to check they are the best and keeps pointing to monthly payments so I figured it's fine I'll refinance. I let him know I only need GAP and the lowest APR. I walk out and a week later I see my loan for $6K above agreed price for the vehicle. The salesman ask me if I was going to register it in Texas and I said no and he said we have a policy that we don't sell to out of state residents. I was completely taken back and he went and talked the manager. He came back and they said no. the salesman was very nice and told me to go to Joe Myers Mazda and they would sell me a car. On the way to Joe Myers I called Mazda USA and filed a complaint. Mazda USA told me that was not how they do business and would be in contact with me in 24-48 hours. Read The Fine Print! Advertised price plus an extra $3,100 hidden in plain sight. My son and I drove 250 miles to finalize what we thought was a great deal on his dream car. I was incensed when the salesman brought me the deal sheet that was totally different than what was agreed to online. To add insult to injury I was low balled on my trade. They offered $5k below CarMax and Carvana. When I told the salesman that I would not pay a the reconditioning fee nor did I want the "protection" plan, he told me that I clearly didn't understand the value of the plan. I asked for the keys to my trade and he walked away saying he needed to speak to his manager. Ten minutes later he came back with an equally ridiculous counter offer. I insisted he return my key. He reached in his pocket where the key had been the entire time. I've never before been held hostage by a car dealer. I went in looking for something safer to drive in than my old rust mobile. Younghi helped me find my Mazda CX-30 and explained everything very thoroughly to where I was able to understand how to connect my carplay, and adjust my seats, etc., that I was not able to do in my Ford very simply. The CX-30 is very comfortable in the way it drives and how the spacing (?) is not very drastically large but also not too compact. I am not very a large person so its nice to feel comfortable for once without all the extra unnecessary room. Highly recommend, especially for parents of human and fur babies, it is very easy to clean my seats and such as well where as in my previous car it was difficult to clean. So refreshing. 10/10. The other feature I personally really enjoy is how sleek it looks. I got mine in a bright red and I am very excited about it. I have never had a red car before. How exhilarating. If you go to get a CX-30, or any other safe feeling vehicle, I highly recommend asking for Younghi. She seems to know exactly what she is talking about. read more

My son and I have been going round and round with them for adding things to the contract that have no paperwork which constitutes fraud. they do not respond to emails or phone calls. You actually have to go down there and scene for them to take you seriously. They were not going to honor the warranty on the car or the extended warranty that we bought. After making a stink about it they finally did but then charged us $1200 for things that were supposed to be covered under warranty. I am in the process of hiring a lawyer and taking them to court for . I have had enough. Stay clear of this dealership. read more
