    Ice cream
    Rabia J.

Jeff de Bruges is a chocolatier and ice cream shop located in Champs-Élysées. While staying in Paris, our hotel was in this area as well, so we visited this shop two times. Both times we ordered some ice cream in cups to go. Their soft serve ice cream was phenomenal. My dad loved their Madagascar Vanilla. Sam M tried Chocolat belge flavor. I had the swirl with both these flavors combined. It was smooth and subtle in flavors. The prices are norm for the area but it's pretty good quality product. They sell a ton of chocolates and are season appropriate with the holidays of the month you visit in. Or they have classic chocolate gift boxes for any occasion. There is something amazing about walking in Paris eating a ice cream or crêpe and seeing Arc de Triomphe right in front of you.

My kids loved the strawberry ice cream (it's more like frozen yogurt, be warned). The chocolate looked amazing, but we didn't try any of it.

While walking along the Champs de Elysee my cousin suggested we stop in for ice cream. The ice cream is soft and rich and as it was a hot day it melted very quickly. My cousin got dulce de leche and chocolate and I got the vanilla and strawberry. After a few bites she decided it was too sweet and went back in and ordered something else. I thought maybe they would give her a break but she paid full price again. Oh well. The waffle cone was delicious and I enjoyed my ice cream even though it was a little too soft. The flavors change although im not sure how often often. The shop also has chocolates for sale which looked great . If you like sweets you should definitely give it a try.

While on one of our strolls on Champs-Elysées we discovered this awesome store tucked in a corner around a construction site. As soon as I walked in I knew exactly what I wanted. I got the swirl soft ice cream with Belgian chocolate and Madagascar vanilla. This reminded me of my days growing up when we used to eat soft serve ice cream with vanilla and chocolate being the options. Along with soft serve ice cream they sell a lot of variety of chocolates but to be honest on both my visits I could barely even notice the other things as I was only interested in strolling the Champs-Elysées and enjoying the ice cream in perfect weather. 5 star location can't wait to go back to Paris and enjoy the ice cream again.

Confectionary and glacier treats at the Champ Elysee. The glacier looked good, but tastewise, we had better on the streets on Paris, so that was a big let down. We did not try the confectionary. 4 stars for the stores wow factor and lovely interiors.

Well let me be honest and say I didn't go in here. My brother gave us a box of chocolates as a parting gift when we left Paris. It was a lovely box that included 16 dark chocolates wrapped beautifully with an Eiffel Tower keychain. The chocolates themselves are not only beautiful but they are delicious some of the best I've ever had.

We came here twice. The two best flavors are the melon mix and the chocolate/vanilla mix. The strawberry and Madagascar vanilla and the raspberry/pistachio mix are both let downs. The Madagascar vanilla tastes like peptobismol in cream form. The pistachio tasted interesting...in a bad way. But the consistency and the texture of the ice cream is so soft and frothy!!

Vanilla ice cream. So so good.

Honestly the best vanilla ice cream I've ever had. I didn't know ice cream could taste like this! Cold and refreshing with every mouthful - the vanilla flavour was bursting in every bite.

Meh. Lots of sugar! This is a popular chocolate chain in the Paris region, though I wasn't that impressed.

I got the pistachio chocolate ice cream, and it was some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Definitely recommend.

Spent money to get here in an Uber to get ice cream before 10pm and they decided to close early. What a waste of time and money!

Pierre Hermé If you…read moreknow Pierre Hermé from social media and all the viral videos, then this review needs no introduction. But if you haven't, this is a strong contender for worthy macarons in Paris and at a convenient location across the street from Ladurée. Located inside L'Occitane in the most gorgeous floor space ever, you will find Pierre Hermé at the center of it all. They have an impressive array of flavors that were much more unique than other patisseries. I definitely asked for a few recommendations as well since I tend to order the same thing (pistachio, raspberry, lemon, etc.) The workers were very kind. They indulged my request to converse in French and corrected me in a respectful and endearing way (I know some people get upset at this idea but I personally prefer it.) I had ordered a dozen macarons but truthfully would've ordered the entire lot if I wasn't alone and especially if I wasn't already taking a ton of sweets back for my flight home. I am a Ladurée purist and what I can say is that Pierre Hermé definitely had the best and most unique flavors compared to the two. The prices are fairly comparable and the coffrets are just as tasteful. Both are strong contenders and worthy of your money. I certainly will be returning and look forward to trying the rest of their selection. (15/50--2025)

Pierre Hermé is home to some of the best macarons I've had in my life -- which is probably too many for the good of my health -- and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the macarons, the staff's attention to detail, and all the unique flavors this shop had to offer. As a popular macaron shop in one of the hottest tourist destinations in Paris, this location is undeniably crowded. There's usually a huge line circling around a central display of macaron after macaron. The line looks pretty intimidating, but it moves quite quickly, and there are so many flavors that it'll probably be helpful to have a bit of extra time to review the menu. My friend and I split a pack of four macarons, including their seasonal isapahan (rose, lychee, raspberry), infiniment praliné pistache, and a jardin de cassandre (red currant, rhubarb). The macarons were delightful. I loved the two seasonal items; they were delightfully fruity and slightly floral, and I loved the slightly tangy flavor from the raspberry in the isapahan and rhubarb / currants in the jardin de cassandre. The praliné pistache was nice and nutty, and the inner cream offered a great additional richness. It's usually super crowded so seating tends to be quite limited. My friend and I ended up taking our macarons to go and enjoyed them elsewhere as we toured Champs Elysée.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more+ THEEEEEE gold standard for macarons in Paris ... or anywhere for that matter. + Macarons here are a little crisp, a little pillowy softness and a whollllllle bunch of flavor. - It cost a pretty penny (about 3 Euros for 1 piece), but you won't regret it for a second when you bite into one of these addictively delicious treats. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + All class, top notch white glove service - literally - they handle the macarons with much care like it were gold!
