What a super trendy, busy youthful place. They helped us with the order since we only spoke English- I ordered the affogato and also gelato and sooo delicious

I was absolutely stoked when I saw there was an Amorino right across from the restaurant we had dinner at! Back home, in Boston, we have two locations. Amorino is known for their creamy, smooth gelato, crepes, and gelato filled macarons. I loved their gelatos because they always make the prettiest "flower" gelato cones. Today, I got a petit (small) sized cone with mango and yogurt gelato & my sister got a petit sized cone with just hazelnut + a chocolate macaron. Both were delicious and buttery smooth + creamy. Staff was friendly & even though the line was out of the door, the staff works fast + efficiently so we didn't have to wait long at all. Highly recommend coming here for dessert or a nice snack to cool off from the heat. You won't be disappointed!

Delish gelato in Paris. Please save room Because it is so worth it. I got the classic with three flavors in a cone dipped with l chocolates and nuts. Or is topped off with a delish macaron of your choose. The lines are long but they move fast! The macarons are pretty yummy I would have taken a a box if I had none they were gonna be so yummy!

The staff spoke English and French both, so Americans or English speakers - zero stress here. Pop in! It's worth the wait, the money, and getting those delicious macarons! The gelato is very smooth, the macarons are fresh, and the staff was very relaxed. Worth a visit 100

Roses are red, The sky is blue, Which color ice cream, Best suits you? Why not do a mix of colors! So, I couldn't decide on my flavor. But I knew I wanted something berrylicious lol That meant something strawberry, or berry based. And then I saw the mango flavor. And went with a mixture of both. This ice cream shop is super cute! They make your ice cream look like ROSES. How cool is that!? My rose was multi-colored since I couldn't make up my mind. lol But it was still really cute. You buy the ice cream first and then the cone or bowl separately. That confused me. But that's how they do it I guess.

Stopped by for a little after dinner treat. Ordered the small cone of chocolate and salted caramel. The staff were great. You order on the kiosk first then they fill your order. There are over 10 options to choose from and there is an option to get a macron on top. This gelato is very rich and flavorful. I highly recommend you stop by while in Paris!

The absolute best gelato! I will dream about it for the rest of my life - orrrrr at least until I get back to Paris!

I'm not usually an ice cream person, but the ice cream in this city is tasty, and after dinner and a long day of walking, I was ready for a sweet something. Luckily, this shop was right around the corner from our hotel. If you're in the area and in the mood for something sweet and cold, don't miss it. This cute ice cream shop specializes in both ice cream and macarons--you can get your cone or cup topped with a macaron. I didn't this time around, but after seeing several ice cream orders bedecked with jewel-toned macarons, I wish that I had! They look utterly charming. You can get your ice cream in a cup or cone, or you can get a sundae, shake, or affogato. They have a great selection of flavors that includes the usual suspects plus their special and limited-edition flavors. I got caramel, vanilla, and hazelnut. No complaints on any of them, but the hazelnut was a standout. Definitively give it a try.

What a great find in a charming neighborhood! We got a couple of chocolate cones with 3 flavors each topped with a macaroon. The cone looked like a flower - great presentation! Absolutely unique and delicious!

Loved this place! Both the gelato and macrons were terrific. Will definitely go back here next time I'm in Paris.

Gelato on a rainy day is just perfect. Passion fruit + lychee flavor are the faves.

I liked gelato but after my recent trip to Paris, I am even more fond of this dessert. After having dinner, we wanted something light and sweet and decided to stop here. The shop was pretty busy on a Thursday evening. I prefer gelato vs regular ice cream because it's more smooth and creamy. They have branched out to the states already. Thank goodness since I can get it whenever the cravings reoccur. They are the first gelato brand to make the rose designs. When you order it in a cone, you'll get a multi-flavored creation. You can also get it with a macaron on top. The affogato (gelato drizzled with hot espresso). looked enticing. Something I want to try next time. Amorino Italian gelato offers an array of flavors. I've tried the lychee, passion fruit, pistachio and hazelnut. All were super flavorful and delicious.

I love how they arrange the scoops of gelato into the petals of a flower! I think they only do that if you get a cone though, so keep that in mind if you're looking for flower shaped gelato. :) In addition to the pretty factor, Amorino was delicious as well. I tried speculoos, salted caramel and vanilla bean, and they were all great!

The tea shop on the second floor is absolutely adorable and really should be on any pastry-lover's bucket list (ditto if you are into tea houses). Calm, refined, and civilized, it embodies everything that "tea" should be. Mom ordered a pot of tea and she deemed it delicious (she is often disappointed by hot tea--it is rare that we find an establishment that makes it properly). I ordered the hot chocolate with chantilly, and it filled me with mirth. (Warning: it is a dessert unto itself. This is not the insipid cocoa that comes from powder in an envelope. Imagine a cup of chocolate truffle, and you are about right.) We both ordered the plaisir sucrée, and now I need to go back to Paris to take a pastry class. Definitely come here for a special treat tea.

Fou isn't a large space, really only enough for a queue to form and the staff to stand behind the counter. Unlike a traditional pâtisserie, there is no baking done on premises here. Instead, they import bakes from other pâtisseries and pastry chefs and sell them here. They had a good selection, with each having a label that tells where it came from and/or who the pasty chef was that created it. We decided on three pastries and a slice of cake - they were running a special where if we ordered three bakes then we could get a fourth for a discount. Each of the bakes were quite good - my favorite was the lemon which had great flavor while also being intricately decorated. Overall though, all our selections were high quality. Service was fast and friendly, and overall I had a good experience at Fou de Pâtisserie. It's a great option to get Paris' "greatest hits" from all over the city.

All the gorgeous pastries have signage indicating the maker of the treat. I visited this location as well as the location within the BHV on Rue Rivoli while I was in Paris. They both offered a lovely selection of treats! The caramel brûlée pâte à choux was quite possibly one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life - a sweet caramel cream filling and a crispy brûlée sugar top. I also tried the pistachio tart (salty, not very sweet) , the pear and almond tart (very fresh, not super sweet, and gorgeous), and the chocolate praliné tart (very rich, dark, and indulgent). Overall, this is definitely a patisserie that I will seek out on a future trip to Paris!

This spot at the Carrousel du Louvre is a full service shop that gives out samples and allows you to build a box rather than just grab a premade assortment from a kiosk. I say this because we walked all over on our last day (wanting to make our own boxes) so we found out where the full-service shops were. The people who work here are very patient and kind while you make your selections. And of course, it's fun to sample the decadent merchandise. I highly recommend the Maracuja (dark chocolate w/ passionfruit pulp ) or the Salvador (dark chocolate ganache w/raspberry pulp). We made the mistake of turning our kids into chocaholics so we had to pay the price and bring them both home a box. Couldn't forget one for ourselves either. Each box comes with a handy picture guide so you can identify the merchandise. Or just pop one in your mouth and be happily surprised.

They are just dry and nasty most of the time lol But in Paris, I decided to give them a try! And I am glad I did. They tasted so good! Seriously, they were delightful little treats. The inside of the macaroons was moist and flavorful, while the outside had a nice firm texture. So good! I almost ate an entire dozen of those by myself! lol My fiancé was not super motivated to try one (probably because they suck in the US), and I kept telling him how good they are.
