    Hazelnut and pistachio ice cream!
    Micah K.

This was my first time in Europe and my gf and I were looking for a good dessert spot and we came across this place. The ice cream was delicious and the texture was good too! They had a wide variety of flavors as well! We ended up eating here for dessert every night while we were in Paris and we still were not able to taste all of their flavors. They also shape your ice cream into a giant flower! This was something unique and very pleasant to look at while enjoying your desserts. When people ask me for recommendations on places to eat when they go to Paris, this will be my first recommendation!

Beautiful presentation. Delicious ice cream. Great service. Reasonable price. Go! Wonderful spot for dessert.

You can do multiple flavors, but I went with Madagascar Vanilla

Do it! Do it! Do it!!!!! This was an excellent stop. Our first night back in Paris we had a very mediocre dinner across the street from here. We passed this place while looking for a place to eat. They make wonderful rose petal gelato when you get a cone. They had many wonderful flavors and the place was hopping busy every time we walked by during our trip. It was a wonderful treat.

Probably the most pretty gelato I've ever gotten in my life. They scoop the gelato out so that it forms "petals", and it's fun to watch! You can choose more than 3 flavours, which is a huge plus in my books, as I love having variety. The gelato tasted rich, smooth, and was super satisfying, even in cold weather! It's a bit pricey, but you are paying for the additional service that goes into creating a rose-shaped gelato! ;)

A little more expensive than your typical coffee or gelato, but the flavor makes it well worth it! I ordered a gelato with a caramel macaron on top. So delicious! I also love how they scoop it into a pretty rose shape for you. The employee who helped me out was so kind! She spoke English too, which made it a lot easier for me when I was ordering. She allowed me to choose as many gelato flavors as I wanted, so I ended up getting cherry, chocolate, and caramel. It was a little small (or maybe just small by my American standards, lol) and I ended up finishing it in like three minutes. I'm so glad this is a chain because I am definitely returning!

€3.50 for a small cup of ice cream. There are actually two flavors, and included in the picture is exact change for five euros

I came across this ice cream shop on a hot August afternoon. Amorino? Never heard of it. There is only one of these stores in the United States, and it's in Manhattan, so this was new to me. Most of the other stores are in Europe, but I wouldn't quite say this is Europe's answer to Baskin-Robbins. The ice cream here is still good but a little different. It feels denser and the texture is somehow not familiar. This is one of those things that words can't really describe, and you would have to try it yourself to really understand it. I ordered a "petit coppa" (a small scoop) of the two most exotic-looking flavors. I guess how they do it here is they take two scoops from flavors of your choosing and then put it together in one small paper cup, but it's still priced as a single scoop. It cost 3,50€ and was a delight especially during a hot summer day. The price is a bit steep, but there were two flavors in there and it was something new. Hard to complain, but just like pretty much any other ice cream shop, there's really not much point in visiting many times since you could easily get cheaper ice cream in bulk at a local grocery store.

Love EVERYTHING about this place! It's decorated wonderfully and there are seats inside and outside. I ordered the traditional cone with a macaroon in the middle. The gelato flavors I got were salted caramel in the middle and then Strawberry and lemon around it. It looked like a flower! The flavors were incredible! Its super close to this metro station and the Hillsong church.

amorino you have my heart! this is a parisian gelato chain that started in 2002 by 2 friends. you'll find amorinos scattered all over paris and europe and only 1 in the states (NY) the hubby and i first stumbled on amorino during a bike tour of paris...now it's a must stop anytime we can find one! the flavors are all natural and not too sweet. you get unlimited # of flavors so go to the counter, order the size you want, and let them know which flavors you want. if you order the cone the gelato is scooped and presented like a flower...almost too good to eat...ALMOST! prices are a bit steep but hey gelato in the states is not cheap either...and it's definitely better than ice cream or froyo!

Pierre Hermé If you…read moreknow Pierre Hermé from social media and all the viral videos, then this review needs no introduction. But if you haven't, this is a strong contender for worthy macarons in Paris and at a convenient location across the street from Ladurée. Located inside L'Occitane in the most gorgeous floor space ever, you will find Pierre Hermé at the center of it all. They have an impressive array of flavors that were much more unique than other patisseries. I definitely asked for a few recommendations as well since I tend to order the same thing (pistachio, raspberry, lemon, etc.) The workers were very kind. They indulged my request to converse in French and corrected me in a respectful and endearing way (I know some people get upset at this idea but I personally prefer it.) I had ordered a dozen macarons but truthfully would've ordered the entire lot if I wasn't alone and especially if I wasn't already taking a ton of sweets back for my flight home. I am a Ladurée purist and what I can say is that Pierre Hermé definitely had the best and most unique flavors compared to the two. The prices are fairly comparable and the coffrets are just as tasteful. Both are strong contenders and worthy of your money. I certainly will be returning and look forward to trying the rest of their selection. (15/50--2025)

Pierre Hermé is home to some of the best macarons I've had in my life -- which is probably too many for the good of my health -- and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the macarons, the staff's attention to detail, and all the unique flavors this shop had to offer. As a popular macaron shop in one of the hottest tourist destinations in Paris, this location is undeniably crowded. There's usually a huge line circling around a central display of macaron after macaron. The line looks pretty intimidating, but it moves quite quickly, and there are so many flavors that it'll probably be helpful to have a bit of extra time to review the menu. My friend and I split a pack of four macarons, including their seasonal isapahan (rose, lychee, raspberry), infiniment praliné pistache, and a jardin de cassandre (red currant, rhubarb). The macarons were delightful. I loved the two seasonal items; they were delightfully fruity and slightly floral, and I loved the slightly tangy flavor from the raspberry in the isapahan and rhubarb / currants in the jardin de cassandre. The praliné pistache was nice and nutty, and the inner cream offered a great additional richness. It's usually super crowded so seating tends to be quite limited. My friend and I ended up taking our macarons to go and enjoyed them elsewhere as we toured Champs Elysée.

We did a quick search around the area we were staying at and found French Waffle! Parking: This place wasn't too far from our location, so we walked. There was street parking nearby. Environment: We were greeted upon entry and were shown to a table. The waitress gave us menus and told us that the menus are in French, but she can help us out if needed. The kitchen was located towards the left and the seating area was on the right with the toilet located towards the back. It was a very cozy environment. What was ordered: We ordered two savory crepes and one dessert crepe. For the savory ones, we had the Popeye, which contained cheese and spinach, and the Hamburger, which had hamburger meat and burger sauce. Both dishes had a bit of lettuce on top as a topping. The Popeye was a bit too cheesy for my taste, but it was tasty. The Hamburger really did taste like a burger; it was cool! The dessert crepe was a Nutella with Kit Kat topping. It was sweet, chocolatey, and yummy. It pretty much felt like I was eating a chocolate bar. Mmmmmm. Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The staff was friendly and patient with us. They also spoke some English, which we greatly appreciated. The crepes were delicious and we enjoyed the food a lot. Credit cards are accepted with the exception of American Express.

I've been only introduced to sweet crêpes as dessert but apparently there are savory crapes as well which are filled with meats and cheeses. As we walked in the door the waitress kindly greeted us and proceeded to show us the seats before giving us the menus. The menus were in French but the waitress explained that if we needed any assistance she would be more than happy to clarify the menu item. I ordered the Popeye which contains cheese and spinach while my sister ordered The Hamburger which contains beef, grilled onions topped with a burger sauce. We also decided to order the classic sweet crêpe which contains sugar Kit Kat and Nutella as dessert. Savory crapes were interesting, the Popeye contained a little bit too much cheese for my preference but the hamburger crêpe did indeed taste like a hamburger. The crust was thin while the filling was plentiful. Now for the desert; the Nutella and Kit Kat crêpe was a great balance between the sweetness of the filling and the savory of the fluffy crust. During check out we were surprised to find that the shop accepted credit card. Note however that Credit cards are excepted they do not except American Express. We will definitely be coming back again.

I immediately knew I was in the right place when we arrived - the cafe appeared as if it were in a snapshot from another era. From the window, I spotted an impressive display of jewel-toned jellied fruits and a coffee counter where you could purchase fresh beans and jams. The cozy seating area had a few tables set close together, and we were fortunate to be seated at the last open table. I ordered the cafe au lait, and my mom ordered the cafe glacé. The cafe au lait was brought out in an espresso mug and a pot of steamed milk - this way, you could add the desired amount of milk to your espresso. The espresso tasted smooth, and the milk was whipped to the perfect cloud-like consistency. I also tried a sip of my mom's cafe glacé, which was sweet and refreshing (the iced option also comes with a side of simple syrup). As a finishing touch, each beverage was delivered with a small square of chocolate. While pricier than a coffee at a typical cafe, this was one of the best cafe au lait I have ever tasted and worth every Euro. After savoring our coffee, we tried a few of the jellied fruits, which were sweet as honey and very decadent. We agreed that this was one of the coolest coffee experiences, as it truly felt like taking a journey back in time.
