Rich, indulgent gelato! And the best part is that it comes in the shapes of a rose. Pretty pricey, but these shops are all over Paris, so you can't visit without stopping in for this sweet treat!

A bunch of chocolate-y and nutty flavors!

We ordered the Cheery cheesecake ( all'amarena) and it came out perfect. Just the right amount of flavors that keep every bite going. They do make Affogato's as well though we didn't end up getting one. All kudos to Marcellin for making our experience so amazing and he did inform us that the raw material is sourced from Turin and it did taste very authentic. Would surely try to stop by again in the next few days that we happen to be here.

After dinner, we want to go for a walk and looked up a spot. Glad we made the journey to here. I opted for the yogurt and salted caramel. Wife got the pistachio and a rosemary flavored. I loved the texture and how it resembles a really good spot I once tried in Milan. While the staff was not fully gleeful, our server encouraged us to try several flavors before committing. You can tell that they were either annoyed from prior clients or just tired. Regardless, glad they put out effort to encourage our curiosity around the options. FYI, place is small. You'll quickly learn that you order, get your cone, and get out. Don't linger for friends or family because it gets warm, and your gelato will melt. Glad we ventured and explored this area with good eats. :)

It's easy to dismiss this as a gimmick at first, luring tourists into cutesy creations of representing food that it's not. Perhaps, it's just a cheeky reminder to never judge on appearances, either way, whatever reason, there's always a perfect occasion to eat ice cream. The flavors are all well developed and the toppings are the twist. All provocative and push the boundaries of "just being ice cream". I'm almost certain that the flavors are seasonal as the owner doesn't post the flavors on her website, although I'm sure the staples of chocolate and vanilla will be ever present. We visited Paris in May and I was ready for the rain and intermittent patches of sunshine. Nope. It was ALL sunshine and most days felt like summer. Which is not a bad thing! My husband surprised me with the lemon sorbet with shaved mint leaves on top. Every bite of this cooling treat was a reminder of how much I love the fresh offerings of summer. The sorbet was prominently tart, with a hint of sugar, but no apologies from the lemon for sure. The trimmings of mint was what elevated this simple cold concoction. It almost tasted like a frozen mojito, which truly i wouldn't be mad if it really was. Paris has a lot of gelato shops and cafe's, but this place goes beyond the expected, beyond the gimmick, and really dishes out the perfect refreshers for the summer or any occasion.
