When I think of heaven, I picture Amorino. Or at least, that's how it should be, with their cherubs on the wall. Amorino is a cult classic most known for their flower-shaped ice cream. Despite living in France, I only had the opportunity to come here several years later with my mother! It's nestled in a very small rue amidst other ice cream shops. In a very Parisian way, this shop does not SCREAM or invite you to come in. Rather, it allows you to venture on inside and see what the shop has to offer. They have a wide variety of ice creams and sorbets to choose from AND no matter what size you get, you can ask for as many different flavors as you like! I ordered a small cornet (cone) with flavors such as mango, pistachio, salted caramel, raspberry, and vanilla. All were to-die-for, though if I had to choose my favorite I would say mango for sorbet and pistachio for ice cream. The lady serving us was incredibly sweet and yes she does speak a bit of English, which my mom really appreciated. The shop itself is very small, like all shops in Paris. Only 2 small tables are located inside with only 4-5 more tables on the patio. As it was a rainy day on our visit, we were pleasantly surprised to see a nearly vacant shop. Much easier to find choice seats, if you ask me! Overall, this place gets a brilliant five stars from me. I asked for mango, coconut and pistachio they do not ask which main flavor you want, she just used the mango and didn't fill the cone all the way down boo. Depending on how talented the person you get will determine how pretty your icecream will turn out the prettier ones would look like a blooming flower.
