I tried the Laksa "for scientific purposes". All I can say is "OH MY GOD!! Where have you been all my life?? Who knew Epping could do such good Laksa?? Epping?? It's the burbs, the serious burbs. How has this deliciousness been in my backyard all this time and I didn't know??" So yeah, the Laksa is good. It has fish cakes in it. The only thing that could earn this place that final star is the roti. Frozen roti. I don't know...but these restaurants really need to step up their game! Why do you have to go all the way out to Epping to get a legitimate bowl of sundubu? Who knows...but it's a travesty. I'm not even a big sundubu fan but the stuff here is pretty damn good. Came with a group of people and I ordered the pork sundubu with special rice for around $19. Others ordered the kimchee sundubu and bulgogi sundubu. It was pretty good and super filling. I was going to order the kalbi+sundubu combo but unfortunately you can't choose the type of sundubu with that combo, default is mushroom. We also ordered seafood pancake and that was plenty of food for everyone. Only gripe here is it's out of the way and the sundubu can take some time to come, but it's well worth the wait.
