When in Rome, or in this case Tuscany or to be more specific Carlingford, we always seem to do what the Italians do and over order. A pizza (or two) to share between everyone, an entree each, a main of pasta each, a dessert each(the tirimasu seems to be the most popular option) and a coffee to help digest it down. I order the "081" pizza which has a tomato base with mozzarella, ham, mild salami, ricotta, black pepper with basil and olive oil. The pizza came out so quickly and looked amazing. What an efficient kitchen Anema E Core has.The base is nice and doughy. The toppings are basic but come well together like real authentic pizza. I would strongly endorse their pizzas!! Yummo. We emailed menulog and asked for a refund. That took forever because they couldn't get In Contact with the restaurant. The restaurant refused to give a refund or reimburse the missing items. I spoke directly to the restaurant after hearing this decision and they asked why I waited 3 weeks to contact them. I explained that I ordered through menu log and they were waiting for a response from the restaurant . Meanwhile the woman was yelling obscenities in the background in Italian (yes, I speak Italian too) and then the guy hung up on me. When I tried calling back they wouldn't answer and then got their junior employee to talk to me and say they had gone even though I could hear what they were telling her in the background. I am absolutely disgusted in their lack of professionalism and even if I couldn't get a refund they refused to honour the missing items. The "partners" seem to be very defensive even though they have made a mistake. I followed the right protocols but was treated like crap. I don't appreciate the rudeness and will certainly not be ordering from here again. Just to be clear we have ordered from here several times before without an issue But that doesn't seem to be taken into account by the company. I have written evidence of my attempt at seeking a resolution through menulog. In spite of this they think I am wrong because I didn't call them directly. Customer service is clearly not high on their priority list when it comes to dispute resolution. Save your money and go anywhere else.
