We had a booking for 7 people including 3 kids and as we set down no one told us we have to be out in 1.5 hours. We waited for our food for half an hour and were told we have to leave as we were still finishing mains. We couldn't even order desert, we were told we have 10 minutes so if we want desert we have to do it in 10 minutes meaning we have to literally scarf it down. We were also refused one drink for one of our friends because of this, we could not order it. We were offered table outside it is cold and raining and we have children. This entire experience was definitely the worst I ever had in Sydney. We were treated awful the manager was abrasive and dismissive. He shouldn't work in hospitality! We are paying customers expected to scarf down the food pay and run so they can sit the next group. Please avoid this place if you can there are multiple places in the area with Italian food and better pizza that care for their customers. Our bill was just under $400 and all we got is ok food and horrible attitude running our evening. AVOID THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!!!

Taking classicism and the house claims of the superiority of their base materials seriously, I ordered a margarita pizza, the first item on their pizza menu. The famous tomatoes. The famous cheese. Four leaves of basil. The End. It was not enough to produce something I would want to eat again. As boring as a date with an accountant. My wife of all people - the militant pescatarian in the room - got olives and ham on her pizza - but no cheese. She despises both olives and ham. I was in utter shock. I checked her for mental illness since she was totally out of character. She was fine. Her olives were amazing. Her ham was strong. Her cheese-less pizza was boring ... But the house does not offer cheese-less pizza on the menu. There is a reason for this and the wife had to put in special requests to get her way. I could see that neither of us had ordered well ... and that with care and planning - an amazing pizza could be had here. Get your pizza with a ton of ingredients on top and things could be very intriguing. Other note: the menu offers a number of pure cheese dishes using bufala and other stuff - no pizza crust. They put out a breadbasket full of pao de queijo, you eat up the whole basket, you order seconds and there is no room left in your stomach for your meal. The spot doesn't take reservations, except for parties of seven or more and on the last Sunday of every month, and it was already packed with a two-hour wait by the time I walked up. With timely obligations, I had to leave but vowed to come back again. It turns out, Buffalo Dining Club is a perfect place to visit for lunch on a Wednesday, around 12:30 p.m. There were plenty of seats, though be warned much of it is communal in this hip restaurant that seats around 50 people altogether. If you're a twosome on the patio, chances are good you'll be rubbing elbows with your neighbor, and a substantial long table takes up much of the space in the dining room. Cheese lovers will adore Buffalo Dining Club, which imports mozzarella from Italy and has an amazing burrata appetizer ($22 AUD). The giant hunk is melt-in-your-mouth goodness with every bite. The cacio e pepe ($20), or spaghetti with salt, pepper, olive oil and parsley twirled in a massive wheel of pecorino cheese, is gooey and flavour-packed.
