Sooo I probably shouldn't be reviewing this joint since I did the most sinful of all acts - I ordered the low carb burger bun !! Oh gawd I'm embarrassed for my soul !!! I can't tell you how bad my food envy was the day a workmate and I ordered our burgers - he ordered like any normal burger craving person would - normal bun, with normal filling .. I had to go all 'calorie cutting ninja' on my burger and it ruined it. The filling was great, I have no issues with the filling, but let me try and describe the bun. First and foremost, its flat - its like a pita bread but not as thin. Its slightly thicker, same diameter as a burger bun and the texture of a crumbly gluten free bread - dear lord the crumbs, I couldn't stop it. Second, the taste - what is this? Cardboard laced with honey? At least give us a neutral taste that won't compete with the otherwise delicious flavours from the filling. Ohhh seeeee now I get it, no wonder its called low carb - you flick the bun to the side to get to the good stuff .. no bread = low carb .. makes sense. I will only take the 1 star away from the review for the bun (was my bad, but they could have warned me HA). 4 stars though go to the thorough service and the obviously amazing burgers they're pumping out to a FULL restaurant !! Excellent choice for a quick take-out option for lunch .. and a much better choice than Maccas. read more

Grill'd - Behold ... The low-carb burger bun !! Can't believe I did this *walks away in shame* - Burgers Near Me - Parramatta, NSW

Yay! A Grill'd in Parramatta! I always go to Grill'd when I'm in Darling Harbour, great place to drop in and have a quick, delicious lunch! The burgers always taste so fresh! They're not dripping in grease and do not contain processed foods. The menu is HUGE! I'm a bit of a traditionalist so I always go for the Simply Grill'd - which is your basic burger for $9.50, $10.50 if you want to add cheese. Sound pricey? For what you get, not really! It's massive and if you do want chips, share a regular with your friends for $4.50. They have gluten free buns as well, which I've noticed is an increasing trend in burger places. You can also opt for a panini, white or wholemeal bun. They have something for everyone! Chicken, beef, lamb, salads, vegie burgers, kids menu and a snack menu - everyone leaves happy! read more

Been going here more and more as growing old Of burger fuel. Burgers are simple and delicious. Fries and sauces are great, I love the sweet chilli mayo sauce. Had the lamb burger and didn't rate it as much as the beef. Can be busy during peak time, otherwise empty. read more

food - the burger was so-so. the meat was just ok, not very tasty, the bread was a bit dry and the condiments were bland. The pomegranate salad had about four pomegranate seeds in it, dry chicken, almost no salad dressing. atmosphere - fast food service - not too long but not fast food either. the cleanliness of this location is dubious, not necessarily the kitchen but the tables, the floor etc. just feels a bit dirty. the silverware and glassware is badly washed and has marks on it, almost made me regret plastic cutlery ! value - 16 AUD for burger and fries is a bit expensive in a non formal I was not terrible, but it clearly falls under yelps '' Meh, I've experienced better'', category. read more

I have been to this place about 2 Times, and both times the food has been consistently good. Also the service was great we had a really friendly girl named Wendy who took our orders and served us our food with a smile and laugh every time. The burgers themselves have always been great, the spicy Lamb Burger is amazing, you can just tell that they use all fresh ingredients. The chips are beautifully herbed but sometimes can be overcooked but most the time they are great. Overall grill'd is a great little place to go with almost guarantee that it's gonna be a good meal. read more

I only ever visit this particular store during the evening, so I have no idea what its lunch time service is like. The evening staff are always very friendly, though a bit too regularly for my liking they tend to make mistakes in orders (usually leaving an ingredient out, but once I ordered one of the two steak sandwich options and received the other). Personally I find the beef burgers to be rather plain, if not a little disappointing. I'd take a fish & chip shop burger any day over a grill'd beef burger. The chicken, lamb, steak & vegie options on the other hand all more than make up for the poor fairing of the beef option. The lamb especially, in my humble opinion. It's the reason I keep coming back, and there's more than enough variety to never get bored. Definitely worth the visit, perfect for if you want a decent quality tasty meal with real ingredients, that isn't take away, but without the time or cost required for a restaraunt. read more

Been to grill'd in a lot in darling harbor and Melbourne. Always been great. I should have known we were in for a treat when the guy taking my order was snappy and seemed like was more worried about ruining his hair with his hat. 1) two wrong meals, 2) my wife thought her chicken salad was awful (hardly any chicken and full of rocket). 3) They forgot our chips sitting there and when I finally asked for them they brought them out cold. 4) the manager seemed to be yelling at the staff in front of customers. on a good note ,my burger was great. Known for its 'Healthy Burgers' and its happy customers! I tried the 'Baa baa burger' which is obviously a lamb burger and is quite tasty. There is nothing bad that I could comment about anything on the burger. You have a choice of different bread buns too. As a meal, you can only buy foods separately which means you can either stay with the burger or grab chips/salad on the side which are also seasoned with healthy ingredients of herbs! Worth my experience and I'm keen to try what the other burgers taste like! The business helps raise awareness for different community groups. With any purchase you are given a bottle cap - which you get to chose a charity group and at the end they donate $500 to which group has the most bottle caps of each month. Friendly staff and service is quick. Prices do come abit expensive, but dishes are served fresh and are very unique. read more

Favourite burger place by far in Parramatta. Extensive menu of delicious burgers, beef, chicken, lamb and steak on offer... Burgers are huge, my suggestion is only grab a small side of fries, if any at all. Great to work your way through the huge menu, as its hard to decide what to eat. My favourites so far have been the 'baa baa lamb burger' and the 'bird and Brie' chicken burger. Friendly staff who are welcoming and always fast with service, great relaxed atmosphere and love the decor, with its modern and funky feeling. They are also licensed to serve alcohol, though all the beer is behind the counter and I aways forget this till after I've paid! Grill'd also support local charities, and when you order you are given a token to place it into one of three charities of the month jars, which are all local to the area. It's a little thing but good to see local business give back to the community. read more

Really average experience here. Not all their fault. I ordered the low carb bun - worst idea ever. Killed the burger. Chips were ok but cold which was annoying as I could see them waiting for the burger to be ready. There is two other burger joints on the strip that I would try over them again. read more

This is a pretty good grilld restaurant. I'd normally give it a 4 but they ripped me off on my sauce twice now (only filled it a quarter of the way even though I paid $1 extra for it!) The herbed magi is genius though / love the combination with the Rosemary chips. The burgers a kind of dry (healthy though) and feel more like sandwiches then genuine burgers.
