Pros:
-The food is actually quite good. I had massaman curry and rice. Initially, you may think the portion is quite small, it's actually a fair and solid amount for one person. Price was around $15-16 for the curry and $2.20 for rice.
-Wait time is quite good. I always get nervous when you've ordered and under 5 minutes it's already ready. Wait time was more than fair.
-Lighting is quite good. I really don't like dark restaurants.
-Not bad staff and service, service was quite quick and fair. I got there early though, so the place didn't have many people.
Cons:
-It's not laid out well. I didn't like how claustrophobic the smaller tables are. This is mainly due to the building being longer than it is wide.
There is a narrow space to your left, which staff will be coming down all the time. I'm not big by any means and normally don't have problems with space but this made me uncomfortable at how tight it was.
This fact probably doesn't make it good for families or people that want to come in groups. It's more for groups of under 4 people really. The tables are a little small so I imagine sharing would also be very hard/tight. The chairs though are quite good for wooden chairs and suit the ambience of the place.
-This is one of those places where they hand you your change on a plate. Which would be fine normally providing there was somewhere to put the plate down which there is not really. Try balancing whatever you're carrying, your wallet and the plate while trying to get your money off.
The food is good, but for my money the other thai place nearby is the winner- similar quality, better layout. Service is not as good at that place though but it is somewhere I can take my family. read more
