(Gyrokinesis uses rhythmic, flowing and circular movements.) I love Alexis! She is so positive and if you can't get a move the first time, she'll break it down and help you be successful. Her lessons during Covid cheered me up and helped my body feel better. Now I take in-person Gyrotonic personal training sessions (like Gyrokinesis but on a machine). I am disappointed with the lack of clarity and communication about billing. During the intake process, I was assured that the facility would handle billing directly with my insurance and secure pre-approval. I was also informed that I would likely only need to pay my deductible. However, there seemed to be significant pressure to schedule an appointment without addressing the billing in detail. Even after claims were not submitted correctly, I continued to receive follow-up calls encouraging me to schedule appointments, with the understanding that the facility was still working on my insurance coverage. To my surprise, my insurance covered a much smaller amount than usual for out-of-network sessions, especially given that I have previously had a different experience with out-of-network physical therapy providers. Additionally, my insurance showed that the provider had agreed to collect a specific dollar amount per visit, but I was still billed the full amount. I gave PhysioFit the opportunity to resolve this issue. My issue was left unresolved and dissatisfied. I was only requesting a refund for the amount that was agreed upon through the insurance claim.

I called a few PT offices and ended up going with Peak because it was close to my home. I able to get an appointment around one month from when I first called Peak. This seems to be typical as most offices I called was booking around one month in advance. The physical therapist I worked with was Michi. She was super caring and professional throughout all of my treatments. Each week I saw measurable progress in my mobility. I went from not being able to walk to being able to do squatting, jogging and jumping after several months of treatment. I also enjoyed talking to Michi during our sessions - she is kind and definitely tries to get to know her patients at a personal level. Thank you Michi for helping me with my recovery!

I was told it might have been from wet doormats, but even after they were replaced, the smell stuck around. While wearing a mask helped a bit, I genuinely feel for the PTs and staff who have to deal with that every day. I encourage office management / owner to investigate thoroughly to rule out any underlying issues - whether it's mold, plumbing, or something like a dead rodent in the walls or ventilation system. The team here is outstanding, and they deserve a workspace that's just as healthy as the outcomes they're helping patients achieve.
