He reminds me of Carmy from The Bear--passionate, hardworking, detail-oriented, and completely dedicated to creating an amazing experience for every customer. You can feel the love and energy that goes into every dish. The service is warm, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel like family. In a world of chain restaurants, this place is a true local gem. Whether you're stopping in for coffee, pancakes, or brunch, you'll leave happy, full, and already planning your next visit. Joaquin thank you for taking the time to make us feel so welcomed! On our first visit, we ordered the breakfast sandwich, the Banana Walnut Pancake, and two iced lattes (one with 2% milk and one with oat milk). Everything was outstanding. The breakfast sandwich was packed with flavor, the latte was perfectly balanced, and the Banana Walnut Pancake was on another level. The combination of caramelized banana, toasted walnuts, and their smoked maple syrup was absolutely RIDICULOUS. We loved it so much that we came back just two days later. This time, we shared the breakfast sandwich because we needed to save room for more pancakes. We ordered the Lemon Curd & Blueberry Pancake and the Brunch Still Hungover Pancake (their espresso-inspired pancake), and somehow they were even better than we expected. The Lemon Curd & Blueberry was bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced, while the Brunch Still Hungover was one of the most unique pancakes I've ever had rich coffee flavor without being overly sweet. That's the magic there for me, you might look at these pancakes and assume it's "too much" or might be overwhelming but the flavors are so perfectly balanced, it's a darn masterpiece. What really made the experience special, though, was the owner. He took the time to chat with us, explain the inspiration behind some of the menu items. You can tell this isn't just a restaurant to him, it's something he's genuinely passionate about. That passion comes through in every plate that leaves the kitchen. The staff was warm, welcoming, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. In a city where brunch spots come and go, Jealous Fork feels like the kind of place that earns regulars. At this point, our goal is simple: keep coming back until we've tried the entire menu. As I'm writing this in deciding to go back to try the burgers..BRB

I ordered the smash burger, and even though they don't call it an Oklahoma-style, that's exactly what it felt like--the onions smashed right into the patty, giving it that perfect crispy, flavorful bite. Simple, but done really well. On the beer side, they've got a nice variety. I tried a pale ale and a trigo (wheat) beer --both were very good, smooth, and easy to drink. You can tell they care about what they're brewing. Overall, a chill spot with good vibes, great burgers, and quality beers. Definitely worth checking out.

After an entire Saturday of dense course material, I didn't have it in me to explore the night life Miami has to offer. I found this place & it was the perfect vibe - super laid back. Music selection was decent when it was on a playlist (I think). There was a guy intermittently playing live music - he wasn't great & was way too loud, but I just put on my airpods and turned on the noise cancellation feature, which toned it down enough for me to enjoy the rest of the environment. Alex was the one who took care of me & picked out a flight of sours, that were all delicious. The dole pineapple one was probably my favorite in the flight; strawberry smoothie tasted great but the texture kinda threw me off (it was thick... like a smoothie lol). She recommended the chorizo and hot honey pizza - also great, especially when it was hot out of the oven. I probably shouldn't have tried to eat the entire thing on my own, but I did anyway. I'd come regularly if I lived in town :)

I had a glass of wine and it was the smallest and cheapest glass I've been served... my bf had the pineapple flavored beer and tbh it's way too sweet. The aesthetic, food options, temperature (cool), and noise level (loud) were as expected for an upscale sports bar. We were seated quickly at a booth and greeted by our server Valorie. Valorie was sweet, helpful, and welcoming. Since she was new, various employees stopped by our table to see if she needed help and give praise. This positive atmosphere was unique and much appreciated. We enjoyed each of the items we ordered and especially recommend the spinach artichoke dip (very garlicky). Our company has hosted several Happy Hours here and the staff truly goes above and beyond. The food served buffet style is constantly getting replenished and tastes as fresh and delicious. The drinks come out quickly even with such a large crowd. They even have a rewards program that helps build credits for restaurant dollars. I never get sick of this place.

Looked on yelp for a nearby place to get Ramen and saw wonderful reviews for KOW. And so I ventured over. Looking unassuming from the outside in a strip mall, this is a really nice place for a quiet and wonderful meal. I was struck how it was not just Ramen, but a variety of different cuisines on one menu. I really wanted to try them all, but stuck with Ramen as that is what I was looking for on that particular evening. It did not disappoint. People have described it as the best Ramen in the area and I will not argue that point. I will, however, say that the portion was on a small side and I was still hungry afterwards. This is the only reason for the missing star. The flavor was excellent. The protein and added dumplings were all perfect. The broth was delicious. The servive was outstanding. The ambience was comfortable and truly enjoyable to have a nice conversation with my dining companion. I found the menu a bit overwhelming, but I will go back to try some of the other things as I looked around the table and people are eating a variety of different foods and by foods I mean food types as the offerings are so diverse. Prices are a bit on the high side, but my first impression is that the value is there to command those prices because the food is superb. Potentially a five star restaurant...stay tuned.
