I had their $39 three course menu in which I picked the Crispy Calamari Tower, The Rainbow Sushi Bowl, and Strawberry Tres Leches for dessert. Everything was delicious and amazing. My girlfriend had the Drunken Goat burger and it was juicy and cooked exactly how we wanted it, we got it with truffle fries and the aioli it comes with is just perfect. I was here for a retirement party. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor of all the food. Would definitely recommend. The employees were also super helpful, patient and kind despite the chaotic nature of the retirement party. The only reason that it was a 4 and not a 5 is because it was way too hot in the restaurant. I love Tap 42, but this location really needs to do something about the AC! I've been here twice already, and both times I've seen fans placed around the restaurant to help with the heat. It's very unpleasant, especially with the Miami heat. I had to leave fast because I couldn't stand the heat. Aside from that, the food and drinks are always good, and our server was great. Hopefully, they get the AC issue fixed soon because it would make the experience much more enjoyable! read more

The aesthetic, food options, temperature (cool), and noise level (loud) were as expected for an upscale sports bar. We were seated quickly at a booth and greeted by our server Valorie. I've been to this location three times already. I still don't understand the hype. The menu sounds delicious, however the food comes out and it just doesn't hit. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap, and it looked amazing, but taste-wise it was underwhelming. The two things that do hit the spot are the lettuce wraps from the appetizer menu and the sweet potato fries with the sauce. I love their breakfast shot - it's a delicious maple-tasting shot that's perfect for a wild morning. Their lamb and goat cheese burger is out of this world and I cannot get enough of their truffle street corn guac. Seriously, get it! Our company has hosted several Happy Hours here and the staff truly goes above and beyond. The food served buffet style is constantly getting replenished and tastes as fresh and delicious. My most recent visit to Miami, I wanted some new experiences, some new places to hit up for drinks and food. Since I am a Miami veteran and also considering getting some property out there eventually, I decided to venture Kendall. While in Kendall, I tried out Tap 42. Nice bar and restaurant to have some happy hour drinks. Being that its been 3 months since I had been there, I don't recall EXACTLY what I had but I am sure I had some kind of margarita. Being that I don't remember exactly which one, maybe it was forgetable but I am sure I did like it or else I woulda complained on here or to the bartender lol. Either way, Tap 42 is cool spot for group outings. Saw a lot of after work patrons attend and families. Definitely recommend in that aspect. read more

Monday could become my favorite of the week. I love a good burger and often cooked them myself so I am usually disappointed when I go to a restaurant to order. The evening was cool and so we decided to eat outside by water and chose Tap 42 somewhat randomly. And boy I glad we did. Let me start with the atmosphere. Sitting outside with plenty of TVs to watch my favorite sports game is probably going to make for a good experience all by itself, but tonight I was really in for a surprise. It was $12 burger night. But these were not just any burgers. Cleverly named Prohibition and The Big Smash, were both great hamburgers. Quite big, in fact so much so it was hard to finish, they were among the tastiest burgers I've ever eaten. The preparation and combination of flavors were phenomenal. Our sides of Caesar salad and brussels sprouts work exceptional. The service was magnificent. But top that off with a night on the patio it was almost unreasonably perfect. There is something about Miami that is so beautiful and comforting. Even the smell in the air is refreshing and cathartic. Sitting on a patio, which was covered and protected from the rain and watching the storm with its beautiful smell along with the lightning and thunder just set a mood that was incredibly perfect for this wonderful meal. I love this place. I may even come back when it's not raining. In fact, having looked at the brunch menu, I don't even think I'll restricted to Mondays. This is another do not miss restaurant in Kendall. And whether I pick Sunday or Monday, I cannot think of a better way to start the week. read more

Wow wow wow, everything at Tap 42 was absolutely amazing. GET THE TRES LECHES. Everything we tried was so good. The spinach artichoke dip was super garlicky, which I loved, and the burgers were perfect. The chicken tenders were great too, though I wish there was a little more for the price, but the sides were huge so it was fine. The Asian coleslaw was really good too. But the best part was the strawberry tres leches cake. I've never had a dessert that tasted better than that. It totally caught me off guard and I just fell in love with it. Im pretty sure it weighed 5 pounds. Worth the stop. Shout out to our server Valorie, she was training but did a fantastic job. I wouldn't have known she was training if they didn't tell us that. I asked for coffee but I got it when I was almost done with my meal (the server forgot me). Overall, it was meh, but I'll probably return to try something else.
