In all fairness, I waited a while to see how things would settle, but my opinion hasn't changed:…read morethis is a horrible company that did more damage than good. They were supposed to trim a laurel hedge, but decided to only trim it as far up as they could reach without bothering to do the upper couple of feet. It is a horrible mess. They were supposed to re-gravel the driveway, but, brought such a fine-grade gravel that it was more dust than stones. I spoke about that and Sam Hill, the owner, said "It'll be fine once it rains." NO it's not. Most of the "gravel" blew away. It's a lumpy mess. I had also specified that I wanted the gravel to go all the way out to the edges of the current drive. I even said "I want it wide." Wasn't done. I complained and Sam said, "It looks like a nice, strip up the middle." He said if I wanted it out to the edges, he could write up another bid!!!! I had gone out the day before and weeded and made the edges of the drive very clear. These lazy people didn't even bother to move a trash can that was at the side: they just left it un-graveled. They didn't spread gravel over the entire area that is the turn-around either. You can see where they just put their gravel around in patches when they thought they could get away with leaving the old gravel. They cut a 50-year old lilac down to the ground for no reason at all. Apparently, Sam's parents own a nursery, so he "made it right" by putting 2 inch tall cuttings in its place. I objected because lilacs are very slow growing. Sam said "Oh, no...they grow really fast." NOT TRUE. I then went to a nursery and picked out a 4 foot tall lilac that would still not make up for the towering one that had been destroyed, but would be better than cuttings. Sam said he'd go get it. Well, he must have gone back to mom and dad again. They planted a one foot tall weakling that is now dead. I wanted them to plant something to mask my neighbors fence from view. I said something flowering, like a dogwood or cherry. I expected someone who calls himself a landscaper to know plants; to know what would grow in the space indicated. I babied that tree for months, but...it's now dead, too. So, thousands of dollars went for damage and ignorance and laziness and refusal to repair what they ruined. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

From start to end this company was incompetent and extremely unprofessional. I paid $15,000 for…read morelandscape design and installation. A dollar amount they said was pretty small for them so my job took on the feel of being more of an annoyance to everyone at the company. We start the prop with the designer showing up with no tape measure! This should have been a clue! Problems with incorrect sizes and material requirements rained supreme during this nightmare. Deposits were paid in September for an April start date, only to find out one day one of the project there would be delays because the required materials were not ordered. Oh by the way if they say you need 20 plants or 16 pavers and they only use 5 of each, they keep the rest. It's in the contract! Oh did I mention that if they stated you need 15 plants and you need 20 they will sell you the other 5 from inventory left over from other jobs! Yes, paid twice for the same plant! By the way, the plants they bring only have a warranty if you buy their installed sprinkler system for an additional cost. On and on and on it went! In the end I gave up, tired of fighting for what should have been common sense! Stay away from this company!!

I paid a little more than originally quoted but I still thought it was a fair deal considering. His company did the most awesome job for us. They came out and within a few hours all of our annoying blackberry bushes were gone. Like gone gone. I was so shocked when I saw it that I can't not just go out and stare at it. I know those bushes were pushing on the neighbors fence and it was stressing me out. The price was so spot on and perfect for what they did. I'd recommend this company any day for anything they offer. Once I said yes to the job he made it happen in the perfect amount of time. One thing I wish we would have done was the clean up but if we have them come out and do it after the fact I'll update my post w more pics. Josh is very responsive via email and yelp for the most part. I know they are busy but he still responds within a day or two at most. Awesome work guys, thank you so much!!

Shawn White was able to visit our property at the end of the same day between 6-7PM and give an estimate that was more than reasonable. (I had another response 'can visit for quote in 2 days but can't do the job for 2 weeks'). We have a heavily treed lot that needed maintenance and tree removal. Shawn had recommendations for improving the beauty of the lot and for improving the health of the trees. He is a certified arborist with much experience who is not hard sell at all. He had an efficient hard-working team that cleaned up after themselves. Will utilize their services again and we don't hesitate in recommending them to others. You'll find his prices competitive and his services more than satisfactory.

He measured my yard, took soil samples and I felt like he really listened when we discussed my needs, which was a vast improvement over the estimate I had gotten previously from a larger local company. When the estimate came in, we felt that the cost was very fair for the work that needs to be done. While Josh was here and we were talking, he asked me if I had heard of Project Evergreen. I hadn't, and he explained that it's a program where volunteers care for the lawns of deployed service members and disabled veterans. We are an Army family and I was touched by this organization. My husband is away quite a bit and when Josh learned this, he told me that Mint Landscapes would be taking care of my yard for the next few months. I was flabbergasted! His crew has come twice now and they are quick, courteous and incredibly professional. Mowing the lawn can seem like such a menial task, but when you've got two little kids and a spouse who isn't home...it's a weight off of my shoulders and a huge help. The team at Mint are truly blessings and I'm beyond grateful for their generosity. I look forward to continuing to use them for our lawn and landscape needs!!
