He arrived with his crew and they started clearing while Calmo went to pick up the plants I had purchased along with the amendments. He returned and we laid out the plants. I noticed he had not brought the rototiller or the soil amendment and asked. He skipped my question. He asked if I had planned on landscape fabric or bark chips. He said he had bark chips. I had not intended on it, but had 8 bags in the garage. He said we needed 20 more. I was getting frustrated that our visions were not meshing. We bought more mulch. Skipping to the end, my yard looks nicer, but I did not get what I wanted. He tried to push me towards getting sod and also having him put in a sprinkler system. I appreciate the work he did but feel like the communication was not great.

Then we discovered there was much more wood rot and I told the owner not to start buying any materials until we removed all the bad wood and know exactly what was needed. In addition they had to borrow tools from me as they didn't bring the right tools, even needed a hammer and socket set, amazing. Then they showed up a couple days later with a bunch of new wood, even after I told them not to purchase any materials. I finally had to fire them and asked them to leave the new wood (worth 350) to at least get close to the 1,000 I paid in advance. The owner refused and told me he had to rent a pressure washer and wasn't making any money. Well that's certainly not my problem. Overall lousy work, unethical, dishonest and doesn't take responsibility for his own problems. Strongly do not recommend.

Jill was very responsive and they came right out, we discussed the job and agreed upon a price and Benito got right to work. I told him he could let the mulch stay on the grass, and also pointed out where the property line ended in the side yard we share with the neighbor. He bagged all the mulch, raked what he cut with the weed whacker, and moved the neighbor's portion because he wanted to make sure everything looked good. I've referred him to two friends who have had all positive things to say about his work. I called him again on Saturday, and he did a fantastic job even with the crazy rain/sun combo that is Spring in Washington.

I hired these gentleman to remove some small, dead trees at risk of falling onto my driveway. I was…read morepretty clear during the pre-inspection as to my expectations and was quoted what I thought was a high price., but they told me they'd need special equipment. I accepted because they could be there quickly. On the day of service it was NOT the same person. They took down the trees (without any special equipment) that were overhead of the driveway but left leaning trees. When I inspected the work I pointed out other trees in the same bunch leaning toward the driveway. They wanted another $50 (cash) to take down the 4 trees I could see. After they were done there were still some trees leaning toward the driveway. I was out of cash and gave up. If you use these guys be sure you are clear on what they are going to do. They will want the specific number of trees you want removed.
