St. Patrick's Day with my daughter and son-in-law. We all ordered, their food came out but my fish and chips did not. We got there just before the big crowd, but within 30 minutes it was total chaos. JDubbz is one of the few places that's convenient to grab an after work drink if you work at SRS, and for that alone it's commendable. They have basically one of each type of beer on tap, all of which are pretty basic such as Guinness for their stout, sweet water 420 for their craft IPA, etc. Their classic bar food offerings are not much to write home about but do get the job done. Id say the nachos would disappoint anyone looking for nachos, but the wings will leave you a good bit more impressed! Service is great and everyone is so friendly. It's definitely got a large and regular local customer base, so it feels very homely and inviting. I'm not a fan of the inside-even with a remodel it's still on the darker side (most windows are covered by something) and a tad sticky. Outside, however, is a good bit better. Pizza was well cooked. The sauce seemed to be on the acidic side but did not give me heart burn. The restaurant seats about 60 inside and has outside seats. There are video games for entertainment and several tv's in the dining area. Tables and chairs are in good shape. Floors are cement but were a bit sticky. Service was great. We were greeted as we entered and sat where we wanted. Service was prompt. Food was cooked well. We will be going back to try other items on the menu. If you get the sampler, be prepared to eat. This is one of those places you stumble onto every now and then, and decide to give it a try. My wife and I were passing by J Dubbz trying to decide where we would eat. There were several pickups in the parking lot so we went in. The inside is wide open and very clean. Decor is simple. A few TV screens and licence plates from many states. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered chili dogs and pub chips. That was one of the best chili dogs I can remember. The chili is made inhouse by Marty, the chef and owner. My wife had a salad and she honestly raved about it. Marty explained that the croutons were handmade by his mother. Our waitress was Marty's wife. A family business. My favorite. Prices are very reasonable. In short I like this place a lot. Good food, friendly family atmosphere, clean, reasonable prices how could this not be good? But the two things that make it stand out with my wife and me are; 1 the music isn't blaring, and 2 Marty also makes a mean vodka martini. read more

So yesterday me and my husband went here on our 1 hrs lunch break order the buffet but they only offered a total of 3 pizza which were half gone when we came in we had salad and maybe 3 piece each which ad time went on like 15 to 20 people came inside to eat as well to sit the whole hour we all sat at which one pizza was brought out to the so called buffet sat a whole hour there was one pizza brought out for like 25 to 30 pizza which cost us total 39$ and when my husband asked to speak to some because that was ridiculous they offer to only compensate our drinks still paid 33 dollars for a buffet 3 piece of pizza and a salad that's insane never will come back yall need to step it up if u Goin offer buffet all u can eat pizza u need a new game plan on refilling ur pizza for ur buffet cause what u got Goin on is not working read more

JDubbz is a cozy, hole in the wall, neighborhood bar type of establishment. The standout here is undoubtedly the exceptional service - consistently top-tier and attentive. Their pizza, arguably the best in Aiken, is great - an assertion not made lightly given the area's "modest' pizza scene. It's always a noteworthy contender when the pizza cravings strike. Not to mention they have a drive-through, which is also a plus. Other commendable must-trys are their wings & cheesy bread. My only reservation lies in the pricing. While slightly on the higher side considering the casual setting, it's important to note that the quality, cleanliness, and well-lit environment do lend some justification to the costs ... I guess. In conclusion, I would recommend JDubbz for the pizza and wings. The other stuff I tried on the menu isn't really worth mentioning. So the buffet is only Tue-Thurs. Came here on a Saturday around 1.30 PM and there were probably 4 people inside. The server was very polite and attentive but the kitchen took 20 mins for an order of 10 wings. There was some drive-thru traffic so perhaps there were some big orders pending. I ordered the Thai and scorcher flavors on the wings. Wings were cooked well; Thai was a little on the sweeter side and the scorcher was too vinegary. Overall though, it was good food. Let's start by saying 3 stars isn't bad , but it's not great. The pizza is just ok . The negatives are the paper plates and plastic cups . I associate disposable utensils with food trucks and picnics not restaurants. The service is hit and miss, they are always friendly and appear to have plenty of servers but I've gone fifteen minutes with no drink more than once and the place isn't busy . There is a lot of employee congregation in the back leaving only the bar tender to mind the whole place . The place is fairly new and getting better every time I go , so it has potential and is worth a stop. read more

Ehhhhhhhh. I've been there probably 8 to 10 times and I've even been to the place in Jackson for God's sake. Do yourself a favor and don't go to the one in Jackson. It's basically the same thing as the old Buckhead café, which closed because nobody knew anything and could speak to you in any intelligent manner. Kind of the same thing with this place. I'm glad that they open this place in new Ellenton, and I will go there again, but it's over priced and the menu items are not that great. It's kind of just ehhhhhhh. Papa John's has better pizza, and Grumpys has better wings to be honest. It's the truth. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra miles into Aiken for much better food. It is obvious that these are first time restaurant owners with no experience. It would be a stretch to refer to the food as mediocre however it is definitely overpriced. I gave this place the old college try but every time I returned, hoping for the best, I only found there to be less quality than the time before. They seem to be having a problem keeping help since they have already gone through at least one manager and several of the wait staff. If you are a realtor I would keep my eye on this location since I am sure at some time before this year ends it will be for rent again. read more

We had the deluxe pizza on our 1st visit and it was one of the best pizza we have ever had. Went back for another time and tried the Philly cheese steak and the roast beef sandwich and was disappointed. We will give it one more try to see if they can deliver a great pizza again.
