I have the worst time trying to find comfy jeans (I prefer sweatpants ha) but their Arizona jeans are super stretchy and I'm in love! Also liking their juniors shirts and boots which remind me of Nordstrom styles but at very affordable prices. I just dislike that I have to go downstairs to pick up or return an online order. I ordered a dining set in the Nashua NH store March 23rd it came in with the wrong height chairs, due to store sales associate error. I rejected the chairs and re-ordered online April 20 the the table and bench were fine. The re-order went missing between warehouses, the chairs at that time were out of stock. Chairs came back in stock June 29, the lost order was cancelled and re-ordered. We are now past 8 weeks and the newest order is also missing. What is the problem with the supply chain? They I have spoken with numerous people in both the online furniture and escalation departments submitting multiple lost item/ dock search tickets. It has been 6 months calling almost weekly to chase these chairs. I have been very patient but it is just ridiculous to wait this long while paying JCP credit card interest on these items. This is hugely in convenient. It is an embarrassing ongoing joke with friends and family who visit. I do not have another 8 weeks to cancel and start a fourth order which most likely will never arrive. read more

The shopping is fine.. nothing to exciting, but we come here for Tanya at the salon. This is such a lovely group of ladies. My kids (both teens) love coming here. They always feel that they are understood when they explain what they want. One daughter like a very vintage look where the other has her hair colored bright red. JCPenney is my go-to department store when looking for items ranging from casual wear to dress shirts and ties. The chain itself was actually going downhill a few years back when they got rid of their sales and switched to everyday low prices. The selections suffered and the store just didn't seem the same. The "new" catalog was the most embarrassing catalog I have ever seen from Penney's, and for a while I thought my days shopping here would be coming to an end. Forward to present day and JCPenney has disposed of that CEO and the store has been redeeming itself. The sales are back, and thank God, because that is the main drive into going to this store. You can find some really great deals in here. I would recommend never paying sticker price. If the product you desire isn't on sale, no worries; it soon will be. As for this specific location, I love it. It is always clean, well stocked, and organized. I especially love their collection of belts, leather gloves, and wallets. For the prices they charge it is hard to beat them. This mall also has direct competition, involving Macy's and Sears. In a nutshell, worlds better than Sears in every regard, slightly lacking in quality compared to the Macy's, although much more reasonable prices and more sales. read more

I'd made 3 web orders, JCP, Macy's and Target. JCP collected the entire order, called me when it came in, and easily located my order when I picked it up. One item had to be returned (shrunk upon prewash for first wearing), and the return staff asked if I wanted it replaced with a larger size. Yes! She processed the return, located a larger size (they were getting scarce) and put through the order. It's a rare day retailing staff treats customers like human beings, they're a good reflection on their company. read more

I cannot recommend this salon enough!! I drive out here from Boston for all of my hair needs . Each time I am more amazed by the service. I spent 2 years in Boston trying different hairdressers at incredibly high prices with no luck. I watched Valana do my friends hair (a perfect mohawk fade) and realized my favoring swanky non chain salons had cost me 2 years of boring hair (and a shameful amount of money.) She has the knowledge, training and skill to rival the most high end stylists! No one else comes near my hair. Their customer service is incredible! Yet another reason they put Boston's highest end salons to shame! Valana helped me figure out how to get my newly keratin-treated hair back to Boston (underneath my motorcycle helmet) without batting an eye. Katrina (the salon manager) was friendly and patient with me as we figured out a time for me around my unpredictable schedule. She even offered to ask call Valana to she if she could come in early to accommodate my schedule, which Valana agreed to do, AFTER I had made an appointment and realized I had misread my schedule. As a bridesmaid in my sister's wedding, we all got our hair done at the JCPenney salon in Nashua, NH at the Pheasant Lane Mall. The other girls all seemed to have competent stylists, but the woman I had, Leah, was totally incompetent. Not only did she not follow the two looks I pointed out in the book, she chose a different style from the book and didn't even follow that! When I wanted a subtle wave, I ended up with the tightest curls of all. She got frustrated because she didn't know what to do with my chin-length "bang". At one point, she was having me do my own hair! It was an awful, frustrating experience and I hope no one ever has to go through that again. read more

I had the WORST experience at this SALON. I went in to purchase some shampoo duo sets which were on sale and had a coupon for 10% off and I asked how many I could purchase. One girl said 6 the other 3 and then it was 4. I wasn't worried about that I just wanted at least two sets so I could give one to my sister. They started questioning me and were extremely rude to me. Asked for my ID to keep a record of why I was purchasing 4 sets. I didn't know it was a crime or against the law to buy shampoos. Then I was told retailers aren't allowed to buy shampoos. That's understandable but I AM NOT A RETAILER IM A STUDENT. Anyways then they wouldn't accept my coupon which I didn't u dear stand why cause it's from the salon itself. I then didn't purchase any of them and went to the store manager Allison who was beyond helpful and extremely good at customer service. She helped me and apologized for the experience. It was her fault and I'm a big JCpenney fan just not sure why the people at this particular salon were so rude and unpleasant. Out of the three that were in the salon the girl with the tattoos on her arm was the nicest. The other two should never deal with customers period. I don't come here that often, but JCPenney is a good place to supplement your wardrobe, especially if you're looking for halfway decent slacks or tee-shirts at a low price. Yesterday I bought several items for my upcoming trip to the West Coast: two pair of casual slacks (unfortunately, I could only find one petite, so I have to shorten the second pair), two shirts, and a rain jacket with a hood (was 80% off the original price). Because of the sales, I ended up saving more than $120. Sweet. The store is pretty clean and is arranged well, and departments are easily definable. I don't understand, however, why the children's section is right next to the women's. Considering that it was Monday, the store was pretty crowded, so I was amazed that there was only one cashier. Second: I know it's a good idea to pat each other on the back once in a while to increase morale, but it gets annoying to hear, "Way to go, so-and-so. Our magic number is now down to xxx." I heard it three times in the 30 minutes I was there. After I was done shopping, I headed to the Apple Store and played with the iPad for about 1/2 hr. A successful, entertaining morning. read more

I like this store but it loses a few stars due to price and selection. If they're having a sale, the prices are decent. However, selection is often an issue for me. I'm on the tall side so my selection is limited as it is. I wish they had more selection for people like me so that I don't have to dress older than I am in order to get something that fits. On the rare occasion where I find something I like, I have to pay in the upwards of $20-30, which is something I can't afford at the moment, especially when, often times I can only find a shirt I like and it's that price. read more

i made an online purchase for a curtain, waited 2 weeks to find out they had attempted to deliver but instead of leaving it on my porch because no one was home (which ups says it is their call to make to take it or leave it) they sent it to the stop and shop the next town over, which i only was told after calling the jcpenney help line because i had no idea where it is. the SUPERVISOR i spoke to told me i had no choice but to go get the item and i told him i was not going to do that because i paid for shipping, so after arguing with him he agreed to refund me for the shipping cost and so i agreed to go 15 minuets away from my house to pick it up. so a day or two later when i had a chance to get down there i try to retrieve this stupid $20 curtain, it wasn't there! they sent it back to another state where it came from! so now i call them back and they say they have to refund me and i have to wait until the item is back in stalk on their website, ridiculous! so i do because it's the only one i can find in this size and they deliver it this time. turns out it didn't fit on my door panel so i want to return it. the only way to return an online order is to pay for the shipping myself to send it back or bring it to the closest store. i already paid $9 for shipping so i'm not paying again so i drove 20 minuets to the closest store and the woman at this nashua store was so rude. i didn't get greeted just her pointing to where she wants me to stand and wait. then she grabs the paper from me without saying hello or asking me why i was there or what the problem was so she has me slide my debit card i bought it with and then just hands me the receipt and says i'm all set. i notice i only get refunded for the item and not the $9 shipping so i asked "i have to eat the shipping?" and she just says "yup" so rude to not even tell me that and SO ridiculous for JC Penny to make me eat the shipping after i drove all the way to the store to return it! i'm so beside myself about the whole experience and i will NEVER shop here again!! Went inside the store to buy a slip for my dress. They had a huge selection that not many other department stores had. When I went to go check out in the junior girls department there was no lines but the sales desks were both helping customers. I waited behind a difficult customer for 15 minutes which I had no problem and plenty of patience. After the sales associate had finished up with the customer she turned to me and said, "I'm sorry. I cant help you. The line is over there." I looked up and saw that a line had formed but after 15 minutes she could have said to me that I needed to wait at the belted line. And being 9 months pregnant the last thing I wanted to do was wait another 15 minutes after being on my feet all day...and she was rude in the way she said it. read more

I usually have very good experiences here but today i went to get a haircut with no appointment and the stylist did an extremely poor job. She left my hair unblended and uneven. I went back to the salon the same day because i thought the front part of my hair, which i had requested to be angled into my face, just needed to be blended. It turns out she cut the middle part of the angled section shorter than the front section so it looks like a big chunk is missing. The stylist that tried to fix my hair took another inch off and than shook her head and told me i was stuck with it until it grows out. They did not offer to refund my haircut and I'm stuck with a half mullet until my hair grows. Defiantly make sure to request a mid level of higher stylist. The cost isn't worth the mullet. read more

I ordered a couch for my new apartment through JCPenney and was told that it would be delivered between August 10-17. When they shipped it early, I called to ask if they could hold it as I don't move in until August 11. Someone in customer service told me that they would store it until my move in date. Then I received a call yesterday saying that the latest they would hold it is August 2. When I told them that wouldn't work as I have nowhere to store it, I was told that it was going to cost them too much to hold it the extra week and that I either had to figure out how to store it or send it back. I was extremely disappointed in the customer service I received as well as the fact that I was mislead multiple times. I asekd for my money back and I will never buy another piece of furniture from JCPenney. read more

This is my favorite store of all time. The prices are awesome and everything I purchase fits me excellent. I worked at a JCPenney as a Loss Prevention Officer in 2004 and they have come a long way and it's awesome. They hands down dominate their competition in regards to price and style. You can look dam good for one hundred dollars. I purchased two nice jeans, a sweater, a plad colorful button up, and a nice purple go to shirt with style. The only other store I would shop besides here for clothes is Express for Men. If you can't appreciate their straight pricing and understand that your getting a better deal than when they say buy one get one half off then simply your a moron who appreciates a marketing strategy than intellectual math and common sense. Either-way your getting a far better deal than any other store out their. Way to go Ullman and changing the store around with good quality clothes for everyone. Now we just need to get the illiterates to understand the value that's here. This place ROCKS! read more

I ordered a couch, chair and ottoman in November 2017. it is April 2018 and I still do not have the ottoman, they keep losing the order from Ashley Furniture. JCPenney keeps blaming Ashley Furniture. My chair came with out legs. I have called multiple times and I still have no legs on my chair. They told me again today that they would ship them to me. I informed the gentleman on the phone that I do not know how to use a drill and he told me he could not help me. I reminded him that set up was part of why I used JCpenney and he informed me he does not have a service tech in my area and I could call back AGAIN once they arrive and request a damage refund. I want my living room set I paid for.....I asked to speak to a manager and he would not transfer me. I have been a customer for 25 years and they do NOT care. I will never shop ASHLEY FURNITURE or JCPenney again. The absolute worst customer service! and they do not back there products! read more

DO NOT GET BRITTANY TO CUT YOUR HAIR. I got my hair cut by this incompetent young woman earlier this week and she cut my hair a full three inches more than what I had asked her to. On top of that she gave me layers when I clearly told her that layers dont work on my hair and her only excuse with all of this was that "I would like this style because it's summer and I would feel lighter without all this hair." I was able to get a refund for the massacre she did to my hair but I would have much rather paid double the price and not have to live with this haircut. I cannot stress enough how much you do NOT want Brittany to cut your hair. She does not listen to what you want and does her own thing. Similar to what somebody else wrote in her review -- Brittany also was too busy chatting with other people to listen or even care about what I wanted and I ended up with something that will take months to grow back and fix. read more
