    Great selection on toddlers clothes

    My husband and I were here for vacation the last week of November and decided to do some Christmas shopping for our Goddaughter. The toddler clothing selection was much bigger than the JCP we have near our home. We had a wonderful shopping experience and purchased about 7 outfits for our Goddaughter. You really can't beat the prices and the coupons. Service was also great as well.

    Disappointed in our visit today. I was wandering around following the Mrs as she was shopping for a new outfit & some blouses. There was no staff close by to answer our questions or guide us to a particular area. Once she gathered up a few items to try on we had to hunt for a dressing room. All of the ones we came across were closed. The ONLY open dressing rooms were in the junior section near Customer Service. This is it. Want to try on that little black dress? Or a new pant suit, this is the only dressing room! And, (of course) there was a line of six ladies, all holding their clothing items, patiently waiting their turn. If you're a fella buying a new suit for work, you'd have to go stand in line with the rest of the crowd & wait. No one to check your cuffs, no three sided mirrors, just you & your suit. There are different clothing choices throughout the store. Once I find something, I shouldn't have to traipse around the store clutching my items in search of a dressing room. Waiting in a line, knowing there are perfectly good dressing rooms available if they'd just open them. Open some more dressing rooms & provide some additional staff. Two stars because they did have a large selection of clothing.

    I hope that JC Penney can find a way not to go the same way as Sears, K Mart, and all the other big box stores that have gone out of business in recent years. It appears they are trying their darndest to stay afloat as I have seen a marked improvement in many aspects of their stores, especially the JC Penney store located in Henderson. The merchandise appears to be flowing a lot better, it's more updated, they are following Kohl's footsteps with their sales and marketing, and the staff has a more upbeat and lighter appearance. Whether due to the local managers or corporate, the Henderson store is a more pleasant store than its sister stores in Las Vegas. It's a bit out of the way for us, but if I have to go here, I'll do so, just a little less often than the other stores, which will cut down on any purchases my wife and I might make. I say keep up the excellent work in this store and try and do the same for the others. The JC Penney in Henderson is adhering to pandemic regulations quite well. All employees are wearing masks and gloves, and I see each checkout station cleaned after every use. They are limiting the number of customers entering the store, and generally speaking, I am satisfied with how they are dealing with the adverse circumstances.     This is my 3rd JC Photo in 2 years. My reason for changing locations you ask? I'm a stalker! Lauren is the photographer/managers name and making sure SHE takes my sons photos is my game! I had a bad experience with a photographer who didn't have much experience with kids and Lauren did her best to salvage my experience last year and I knew she was the one. We booked our next 2 appointments with her for Christmas photos and my sons birthdays photos and everything has been great since! I recommend using a groupon to find yourself a great deal. To further explain why I drove from the Southwest to the Galleria for photos (in case I wasn't clear enough).........LAUREN!! This location also had a staff that was extremely friendly friendly compared to the other two locations as well!

    Online rip off.  Definitely not practical paying $311 for one when around the corner they are $109.

    Great for coupons if you're a cardholder & my parents find many awesome, very inexpensive items cause of it. Mom & I were looking for Roman Shades. The blind/shades expert just stood there, shoulder length blond hair, Russian accent, didn't offer help just looked away. I had to walk over & ask her, do you work in this department? She looked up the 40% off Roman Shades in 47' & we were thrown shade... $311 for one... What? She said Roman Shades are very expensive, these were also made-to-measure and that it'd take at least two weeks, wtf? I understand they are expensive, but I am looking for standard fitted ones. If I wanted to have my whole house fitted for drapes that would be another story, which they've done for us twice so I do understand blinds & shades ma'am. We went to Bed Bath & Beyond around the corner & found the most amazing Roman Shades in excellent quality, colors & the blackout was included. JC Penneys charges more for blackout or room-darkening blinds & shades. Not to mention the 40% off discount at BB&B, I ended up buying four Roman Shades that were very simple to put up, look fitted and classy so read my review on BB&B for pix... grand total of $345!

    Love the staff because the have excellent customer service and product. For the last 4 months I've been looking for a particular color in my men's 501's. JCPENNEY staff was able to assist me in what I was looking for. Low and behold they were the only Dept store in Vegas that carried what I and my wife were looking for. Thank you

    Rarely do I go to J.C. Penney but since I was already at the mall I'd heard about some good sales here I decided to have a look The store really is just plain nothing special but is clean and organized. Seemed to have plenty of staffing on hand. I shopped for quite a while hoping something would catch my eye... nothing So J. C. Penney really has nothing for me there personally but hey, the people were nice, store was clean and organized just not my thing. Give 4 full stars.

    DO NOT ORDER FROM JCPENNY EVER!!!!!! Here's why... HIGHLY dissatisfied with JCPENNY and their customer service or LACK THEREOF! I had ordered a bulk order for my son's and daughter 12/16/2019 to of course be shipped in time or Christmas. I logged in online to confirm my order status and low and behold PART of my order had been CANCELED without any notification/email/phone call or EXPLANATION! I printed both of these cancelations via online and proceeded to go in store 12/19/2019 to find out what the F had happened since no one wanted to notify me. In store customer service didn't seem to have a clue either as to WHY so they re-ordered the ITEMS that got canceled. The lady was nice enough to allow me to use a "COUPON" that successfully went through and I left the store confused but mildly satisfied as they tried to fix the problem. So naturally at this point I'm assuming my order was being shipped (on the 19th)... FAST FORWARD to 12/28/2019. 3 ridiculous days AFTER Christmas and I called my kids to see if they've received their package and still NOTHING. Naturally I call JCPENNY AGAIN to see why it has taken 12 days to receive an order that should have been delivered well before Christmas but has not been delivered AT ALL.. It is now the 28th, and I'm talking to Customer service and she begins to tell me that because the coupon that was applied on 12/19 was apparently not APPLICABLE to the order, they canceled the order entirely without my knowledge. I received ZERO notification of this cancelation, ZERO phone call or email of this and my kids are with out their Christmas gifts. Not only that, JCPENNY has done nothing to rectify this situation or make it right. No apology, no reimbursement, no re-ordering of my purchase, NOTHING!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM JCPENNY, and to be quite honest I don't plan on putting money back into that store for anything ever again. 12/28 and then I try to email their support team and they block my email ...

    The store is starting to look like less of a garage sale and has more inventory and no longer looks like it's going out of business.

As we were comparing the quality of certain products with similar items we had seen at Macy's, an employee suddenly walked toward us and asked if we were "finding everything alright." Normally, this would be a standard greeting, but the way she approached us did not feel welcoming. Instead of sounding like an offer to help, it felt more like, "What are you people doing here?" The interaction had an underlying tone of suspicion, as if we needed to be monitored rather than assisted. That alone made us feel uncomfortable and singled out. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the employee seemed unfamiliar with the very products we were looking at. She attempted to explain and talk about the items, but it was clear she didn't know much about them. It honestly felt as though she approached us not to provide genuine assistance but to keep an eye on us. Being treated as though we might steal something is extremely upsetting and unprofessional. A customer with $10,000 in their pocket who chooses to spend $1,000, and a wealthy customer who spends the same amount, are still equal customers. Every person who walks into your store deserves the same level of respect and should never be judged by their looks, appearance, or background. It is disappointing that an employee at Dillard's made us feel otherwise. I also want to express that age should come with experience, professionalism, and a certain level of kindness. The employee we encountered was an older lady, and it was surprising to be treated in such a dismissive and uncomfortable manner by someone who should understand how important respect and proper customer service are. This experience left a very negative impression on my family. We visit department stores often, and customer service plays a major role in where we choose to shop. Being watched, judged, or approached with suspicion is unacceptable, and it completely ruins the shopping experience. I hope this issue can be addressed with the staff at this location. Rather than the sales person telling her that she would set her stuff to the side, she just stood there awkwardly without addressing me waiting. Then the woman finally came back and brought nothing else but then the associate told her she reached the deal for something free and the shopper went back to shopping! Just left her stuff at the register and went back to search hung the racks! Incredibly rude that she didn't notice someone waiting behind her but what's worse is the salesperson who didn't tell her that she would ring her up when she's ready. Finally after an awkward 5-7 min, she finally addressed me for my pickup. She went and got it and came back and as she handed my item to me, she said sorry for the wait. I was pretty peeved that both women had no sense of awareness. I have worked in retail before and it's not difficult to communicate with shoppers. I'm probably going to start picking up my orders from a different Torrid. This one lacks customer service skills.
