I contacted this company after discovering one of the fire sprinklers in my house was leaking. It…read morestarted off good. I spoke to the office manager, she said that she would contact the guys in the field and get back to me on when they can come look at the issue. I was pleasantly impressed and surprised when she called me back in about 10-15 minutes and said someone could come to my house within 45 minutes. She did not mention rates or emergency service calls, nor did she ask if I needed the work done right away. I assumed we would get an estimate for the work. My wife said the serviceman arrived in 30 minutes, shut off the water, drained the sprinkler system and replaced a sprinkler head. Total time spent was less than 45 minutes. The first thing I asked my wife when arriving home from work was "how much did they charge us?" She said they didn't say and assumed that I was told on the phone. A day or two later we realized that their work did not stop the leak. I called them and they said that the leak was probably coming from the pipes or our air conditioner in the ceiling. They don't cut open ceilings or patch up dry wall so they recommended that I cut it open and send them some pictures to prevent a service call and charges. A few days later I received the invoice for their initial visit in the mail, it included a 4 hour minimum emergency service call for $460 + an additional $95 for draining the system. The office manager's email address was on the invoice so I sent her an email explaining the situation and the lack of communication by them and also the fact that they did not fix the leak. She apologized and replied back saying that it was an oversight and she would take 2 hours off the bill since it was her fault; thus reducing the bill to $325. I simply replied back "How about the fact that the leak isn't fixed?" I never said that I did not want to pay them. Shortly thereafter, I got a voicemail from the guy who is listed on their website as being responsible for Operations and Pre-engineered services. He said that he heard that I was complaining about their invoice and needed to talk to me. He wound up calling my wife as well and they talked about the situation and we thought we had a mutual understanding that we would go ahead and cut the ceiling open and send him pictures. I cut the ceiling open on Friday night, sent him the pictures via text message on Saturday and he called me back shortly after. While we were talking about the situation, he started talking about the leak coming from a brass connector and I told him no, it looks like it's coming from the PVC connection, he cut me off saying in a raised voice "Stop, just listen to me." At that point, I had made my decision that I would not be doing business with this company any longer. We did however continue our conversation and he said that he would check the schedule after returning to the office after the 4th of July holiday and call me back. On Tuesday the 5th, I received this email from the office manager (verbatim, copy & pasted): "I have talked over your situation with my boss. He told me to let you know we will not charge you for the service call to your house. He also wanted me to tell you to find someone else to repair the leak. We do not need customers who don't want to pay for services rendered. Especially after being offered a discount of $230.00. Best of luck to you. Have a great day!" I've dealt with poor customer service in the past, but this tops them all. They are poor communicators, lack customer service skills, and want to overcharge for work that did not correct the issue. They obviously did the right thing by waiving the initial bill, but they could have been a lot more tactful than telling me to find someone else and that they don't need me as a customer. Everyone associated with this company should be ashamed. I did not find any reviews for local fire sprinkler companies to guide me, so I've posted this review to help other consumers make a sound decision before contacting this company.
