The owners of this business have been dismissive, defensive, non-responsive, and not particularly service oriented. Really an unfortunate experience given the amount of money spent on this transaction. Specifically, Revival failed to deliver warranty documents that were required to be provided to me upon the completion of work, as specifically noted in the statement of work. Even though warranty documents were not provided, Revival's owners demanded immediate payment in full. Revival also failed to advise ahead of time about County inspections that needed to be completed after installation. This easily could have been communicated to me up-front but was not, and led to a lot of last-minute scrambling with my tenants when inspectors showed up without notice, or notified us of follow-up visits. Note to Revival owners: Going forward, please treat your paying customers with more respect, anticipate their needs, and don't send long-winded defensive treatises when customers reasonably object to the way they're being treated. These are fairly easy-to-implement service changes and would really improve your service model.

In the Winter of 2024 we had 2 big fir trees fall on our house. We used our rebuilding contractors…read moreheating subcontractor which was Abvanced Heating and A/C. They did the retrofit of our heating system. Prior to the tree falling on our house the furnace was located in the attic which made servicing and repairing it a pain. We had the furnace relocated to the garage and Advanced Heating performed all of the work from designing and installing the new supply and return ducts throughout the house to installing a new furnace in the garage. The point man was Greg and he was easy to get a hold of and talk to when I had questions and needed more information about the furnace that we were having them install. They did a great job with the installation, when we fired up the furnace for the first time there were a couple of problems but they were quick to come out and take care of it. Since Advanced Heating installed the furnace I plan on having them service it. I can't speak for others but my experience with Advanced Heating has been easy and worry free. I would recommend them.

Billy Buckhannon came out 3 times last Winter to work on my furnace - the last time in March 2022…read more I only use my furnace when it's very cold as I have a gas fireplace. I turned on my furnace this year and it didn't work - again. So I called another company to look at my furnace this time. I was told that the ignitor put in last March was the wrong voltage - that it was an 80V instead of 120V. After doing some research I discovered that the 120V was the correct voltage because the furnace's board was replaced (by Billy) in December; otherwise the 80V would have been correct. Seemed like an honest mistake, so I called Billy to ask him to install the correct part. Instead of apologizing for installing the wrong part, he took no responsibility for the error. He said it was an honest mistake that he was given the wrong part. I agreed, but explained that I shouldn't have to pay for the same service again because he installed the wrong part and that he should make it right. By this time, he was SHOUTING at me over the phone that it wasn't his fault and that it was over the 30 day labor warranty. He was yelling at me and acting as though I was being unreasonable by asking him to install the correct part. He finally yelled that if it would "appease" me, I could send him the bill for the labor for the repairs and he would reimburse me for the labor. That I could send the wrong part that he installed back to the parts company as it was under warranty. By this time I told him I didn't like how he was speaking to me and hung up. It is inconceivable to me that an HVAC professional would install the wrong part and then become angry when asked to correct his mistake. I would recommend that you use another company if you need HVAC work and ensure that they stand by their work. People make mistakes, we all do, but how you react in those instances is a matter of character. Billy reacted poorly.
