On the…read moreFriday after Thanksgiving 2025 nearing dark coming out of Bristow, I ended up with a flat tire and had to pull off on a dark country road with my dog and called AAA to wait. Calvin's Wrecker Service and Mike were assigned. Mike came as fast as he could from Shamrock, and was in constant communication with me. Mike assessed the situation, but couldn't change my flat as I didn't have the right equipment. Mike towed my car back into Bristow with me and my dog, stopped at a motel so I could check in so I could have a safe place to stay overnight, dropped off my car at Bristow Tire and secured it, and dropped my dog and I back off at the Bristow motel, all the while ensuring my dog and I were comfortable, warm and safe. My experience is that AAA picked a great vendor and gets great value from Calvin's Wrecker Service and Mike. Called AAA at 7:59am and this company was dispatched to change a flat tire, was told they'd be there at 9:30 at the latest by AAA. Was relieved as I was traveling with my 3 children and was stranded in the Oklahoma heat. At 9:19am someone from this wrecking service and told me he was "about to leave" and told me he was going to have to charge any toll fees to me and asked if I still wanted him to come out, "yes, of course, please hurry" I said. About 10am someone showed up in an older, beat up small pickup truck. No problem, just needed him to change the flat. He gets out of his truck and the first thing he says is "you're going to be charged for the tolls fees" and asked me some to the effect of "do you still want me to change the tire, because you owe the toll fees". Flabbergasted and knowing the toll fees would amount to no more than $2-3 for his round trip from Bristow to Stroud and back to Bristow, I joked "hmm..no please just leave me stranded here on the road". My husband was there by that point to get me and our babies out of the heat; as I was walking past the service guy to my husbands car, again he was talking about the tolls fees with my husband. I said to him we already said that's fine, and he said "you're a basic AAA member maam. you have to pay the tolls fees". I was amazed..no one argued about toll fees with him, I Dont believe he wanted to change the tire. It was really bizarre. I see on my credit card statement today that he charged us $15.75 for toll fees on top of the payment he received from AAA. See the chart below for the tolls fees charged by the state on this route. With a pikepass it would be $2.60 for the round trip, without a pikepass it would be $3.50. I've already reported this to AAA and will be contesting with my credit card company as well. Shockingly dishonest, no integrity. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Didn't care about them charging for work that was not completed. Didn't care that they didn't address the issues. Nor does he need customers. I would look elsewhere. The issues with customer service obviously starts at the top. Matt you should be ashamed. BTW I have screenshots of how they treat their customers! Would give a negative review if I could. Long over due review. I'll start off by saying the focused repair work was great. Repaired spot was…read moredone very well. The car came back to us with what I believe was an exterior detail. Very clean and shiny. Now the bad. Last year I had scheduled out the repairs on my car. When I dropped it off they were supposed to have the replacement parts and I would have the car back fairly quickly. This did happen they had the car for weeks and it took me a while to get a response from someone on why it was taking longer. I finally got a call from someone who said that the replacement door had been damaged in shipping and they were having a hard time finding another. He was very apologetic and said that I would only be charged cost for the work and I'd get the car back asap. They got the car done and I picked it up. It looked great. I was charged full price, but I did not push back on that. First issue I noticed was they had removed my antenna and left it resting on my wipers. Thankfully I saw it before it was lost or damaged my vehicle. Next issue I saw was, the car had window visors. Since they were replacing a door I said don't worry about replacing that just remove all of them for me. They did but they left all the foamy glue that held it on, on the other door. The next issue was that they failed to secure a wire harness inside the door they fixed so now when you open or close it you can very much hear it banging around in the door. And the final issue is the car has proximity thing where when you have the keys on you you can unlock the car by pushing a button on the handle to unlock and lock it. It worked when we took the car and and it doesn't work now on the door they fixed. Works on the passenger door still. Overall all great repair work, just some lack of attention to detail in some areas and lack of follow through on a customer service side for the charges.

First appearance looked like the battery, so we shook hands and parted ways. Short cut to it not being the battery, so I had to contact the operator immediately. As it happened I got him before he was too far away, and he happily came back and loaded Stella (the Yukon... The Wife names all her vehicles) aboard and transported her to our local mechanic (Earnie's Automotive in Owasso). Super friendly guy, prompt and professional. I can't say enough about Grace, and they now occupy a spot in my phone's speed dial.
