    Not terribly fond of getting my haircut, I decided to give this place a try after hearing good things from friends. I called ahead of time to see if I needed to make an appointment or if walk-ins were accepted. The girl on the phone was very nice & said to just come in anytime while they're open. (They close at 9pm which is convenient for me!) Once there, I had to wait, probably a total of 30 seconds (if that) before a stylist was available. Not bad! She asked me specifically what I wanted done and got straight to work, keeping small-talk to a minimum (which I am more than okay with!) I could tell she was very focused and intent on details which I appreciate. When finished, she asked me if it was short enough. It looked good so I said yes. She then said if it turns out that I need it shorter, to just come back. She thanked me for coming in and I headed back to the front desk. Quick, concise, polite. That's all I needed!

It says something that my uncle, daughter and grand daughter all walked out with new clothes. I even found a couple of sweatshirts to bum around in. Do the math and that's four generations served by one store. My uncle's new wife won't let me use her name in the review and got mad and yelled at me about it. So, let's call her Mandice. Not because she has massively huge man-feet, but it's just a random name. Right? Point is, that there were shoes that fit those gunboats...and looked great, to boot (see what I did there). She left with a pair of heels, a running shoe and slippers. NR has a new shoe customer, thanks to me (even though she'll never admit it was me). I love the fact that they keep the place clean and orderly. There's a wide variety. The people are very nice to us, but, they do have to pick up the pace at the check out. We went back a second time and it was no better. Still it's a great find for us. 08/23

Not even a discount and the employee was extremely rude about me asking for them to do something to fix their fuk up which cost me 25 bucks to come back

Fred Meyer's employees put themselves at risk of infection every day. They are overworked and understaffed and underpaid. They, along with medical professionals and first responders, are keeping us alive right now. The only difference is that they are paid and respected much less by our society. To clear a few things up: Instacart: is not owned by Fred Meyer. If you have a problem with them, you shouldn't put that on Fred Meyer. Also: Instacart workers are also on the front lines, and need your compassion. It's a GOOD THING: that grocery stores are being strict about returns. THIS DISCOURAGES HOARDING, in addition to being SAFE. In times like this, we should only buy what we NEED. OK, so with that soapbox out of the way: Freddies is doing a great job, all things considered. Social distancing markers are in place on the floors. Employees are constantly sanitizing and/or changing out gloves. Food is getting re-stocked only days after the hoarders take it all. Despite all the added strain, employees remain cheerful and eager to help. Oh, and they are keeping alcohol sales going...essential indeed. Let's be nice, and keep it classy, Anchorage. We'll get through this.

    This is not a bad Kohls location and it's fairly organized and well maintained compared to other…read morelocations. When we came in we were treated by the security guard who also gave us a shopping cart. Walking around people asked if I needed help finding anything, which was nice to hear because you hear it less and less. I found decor for my playroom and for a great clearance price too it's worth looking in the back. Something I didn't care for was that two or three cashiers at the front were having their own loud conversation that wasn't very appropriate and they did not have the professionalism to cut the convo short for a minute and just resume after we checked out. The young man we had as our cashier though was incredibly professional and ultra polite. I don't go to kohls often but when I do it's typically to buy Nike or Adidas because I know they have it there.

On the way out I grabbed a Fenty Gloss instead for my sister. Here's where the issue came in. I put my card in, put in my pin and it said take your card out. She then says oh it didn't go through. So I repeated the process and this time she said I have to call Corporate. It came up as a duplicate purchase. The manager comes over and he's TRYING to explain to me that it didn't go through. Until I pulled up my bank account and the debt is already out of my account. I showed him my account 3 times and he kept saying it will drop off. No it won't it already came out of my account that's why it's saying duplicate. After he comes back he brings a receipt that's 5 minutes after the first receipt that says voided in store. It wasn't a void. My daughter was being really polite but he came off as rude, very rude. He wasn't listening to what we were saying. His facial expression showed he didn't care it was his way or no way. He then said she has to pay for it ...again. I said no I don't want it. The two people working were amazing. They saw I was handicapped and needed just a little more help. They smiled and talked to me with respect just as I was doing with them. Bryce the manager was very rude and didn't care that it came out of My account all he wanted to do was mansplane to us. When my daughter asked his name he said it with an attitude. For no reason. No one raised their voice at him not once. I love Sephora but I will never in my Life go back to that location because of him. He makes no one want to shop. And they are having a good sale.
