This review is based on price only…read more If you want to pay 10 times the price of your tile, then All Floors & Finishes is the place for you. We were planning to go to some of the big flooring stores in Miramar, but happened to see this small local store in Poway. And we thought, let's support our community and work with a local small business. Big mistake. We have 4250 sq ft of flooring we want to replace. And the porcelain tile we chose was $3.69 per square foot. That would make the total cost of materials $15,682. According to most folks we've talked to, we should expect the labor cost (actual installation) be around double or triple the cost of the materials. So maybe $10 per sq ft. Heck, even $15 per sq ft. wouldn't be the end of the world. So maybe $30k-$50k. But then we got our estimate from Josh and Whitney at All Floors and Finishes, and we were blown away that the estimated cost was right over $30 per square foot. It was actually a range of $32-$34 per sq ft. They came in with a bid of $135,000-$145,000 to re-tile 4258 square feet of flooring, using a tile that costs $3.69 per sq ft. This is INSANE. I emailed multiple times to confirm that it wasn't a mistake. I'm sure they do great work, but c'mon. So we'll be heading to Miramar to see what the bigger stores have to offer. UPDATE: We've had multiple companies come and measure now, and the highest bid so far is $79k. Which is still over $55,000 less than All Floors & Finishes.
