I am so disappointed right now. I received a delivery of a fridge. They removed my old fridge and in the process, damaged my wall. I filed a claim which took forever and was routed to a 3rd party. They were not responsive at all and I had to call multiple times to get a hold of someone only to get denied. It's a small dent and they just needed to patch their mistake but won't even do that. I had two appliances scheduled to be delivered and installed that I purchased through Home Depot. Drivers arrived and asked where I wanted the crates. I was confused, but asked if they were simply the delivery people and not those doing the install. The man indicated that was correct and asked me to sign the documents stating everything was in good condition. I contacted HD and they told me these men were, in fact, meant to do my installs. Apparently, I was their last delivery of the day and they simply didn't want to do the additional work their company was hired to do. When I received the texted receipt, the drivers falsely claimed they had left the appliances in my garage, still crated "per my request". I was informed I would have to wait another two weeks to get someone out to do the installs. I told them I'd give my own installers. This lazy work reflects poorly on the company and the person I spoke to at HD stated that the company didn't believe him when he called to report the issue. These guys did everything in their power to avoid doing their job. They had no intention of delivering my appliances. First, they called (after the window for delivery) from a personal cell phone to give me a 30 min. head's up. Then, I missed a call - not from the driver or assistant, but from the office, saying that they were unable to deliver due to my driveway and would wait 15 minutes before moving on. I caught the voicemail, called the cell number that belonged to the driver or assistant and they refused to answer. Within 8 minutes of missing the office call, I had reached the office who informed me they had moved on. Now, I get that they may not have wanted to drive up my driveway because it is steep for about 8 feet, and some trucks scrape. But, there is a shoulder off the main road and I would have happily moved the appliances up the driveway myself - but I had no way of informing the delivery guys of this because they refused to answer my calls after they decided not to deliver, and the office had no interest in resolving my issue - they merely tried to reschedule five days later (after already waiting over a week.) I ended up driving to their warehouse to pick my appliances up myself, upon which the warehouse guy, in some kind of testosterone show, picked my dryer up by himself and crammed it into my truck. The dryer is dented. No surprise. These folks have no accountability or work ethic. This is my second bad encounter that resulted in much more work for me (last time it was hauling a fridge up four flights of stairs by myself because they came up with an excuse not to). These guys won't even answer the phone to explain themselves! They don't like their jobs, they don't care about you, the customer, and ultimately they shouldn't be in business. I purchase appliances ocassionally through the Home Depot due to company accounts. I will no longer buy appliances from the Home Depot and even opted not to buy hardwood floor from them due to my concerns over the delivery of the product. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Horrible Horrible Horrible. Rude. Rude. Rude. Purchased a washer dryer from Costco and am ready to cancel the order because the delivery is such an ordeal. They assign a delivery window to you without your consent. They deliver to the wrong address and then fault YOU for not answering the door. When you ask them to come back they say your address shows a "delivery refusal" and their "system" won't "allow" them to do anything about it." Your only option is to reschedule for the next available date, which is 4 or 5 days later. When you ask what time they'll be coming they say "I am not allowed to specify a time." If you for a rough estimate or a delivery window they say "I am not allowed to specify a time." If you ask to escalate the issue to a manager they send you to someone who does not answers their phone. If you leave a voice message you do not get a call back. If you call them back yourself they flag you in their "system" as a complainer, which means they put you on hold endlessly in an attempt to avoid talking to you. If you ask someone else to call for you, because at this point you are almost in tears, the customer service reps are just as ineffective and uncaring towards the new person as they were towards you. In summary, we tried for 4 hours to get our product delivered without any luck. This is not a company that gives one flying F*CK about your satisfaction with their delivery. If I were Costo I would DROP THEM from the team. If anyone who worked for me treated my customers in this manner they would never work for me again. If I were to select the best words to describe this experience: Shameful. Wasteful. Inconsiderate. Disrespectful. Waste of time and money. Expensive. Ineffective. Lacking Courtesy. Long story short: Do NOT order appliances from Costco (or apparently Home Depot) because they use this delivery service. It seems clear from reviews here that JBC has a huge problem. I scheduled delivery from Costco of a large home appliance 1.5 weeks ahead of the delivery date. I received a robocall the morning of the delivery (saying they were from Home Depot!?) and that my appliance would be delivered in a 4-hour window. Then I received a call from JBC saying that although they would be able to deliver the appliance, they would not be able to pick up my old appliance (something I paid for when I made my order) because there wasn't room in the truck. I noted that if they were dropping off an appliance that there would, in fact, be space in the truck the identical size of the item they needed to pick up. I even took a picture of the space in the truck when they were here. They refused to remove my old appliance. (They did take a big chunk out of my door frame while installing though). Six calls later (2 disconnected, 2 routed to GE appliance center, and 2 where I spoke to a supervisor), I was guaranteed that the delivery people would return the same day to pick up the appliance. I spent nearly $2k on an appliance that was supposed to be delivered yesterday. I have had several very large trucks deliver appliances to my house with no issue getting the truck in or out. JBC has to be the worst company I've ever seen someone partner with. It's mind blowing that Home Depot works with them. They showed up to my house, didn't even get out to look down the "scarrrrrry" hill and decided they couldn't do it. They're lazy and worthless. Took the day off to accept the delivery of our appliances. Received a call 30 min before the earliest delivery expectation time that they would not be able to deliver due to a truck breaking down. When speaking to customer service then management it was very clear that they did not care about what they did for a living with the level of service and lack of professionalism. I ordered a washer/dryer from Home Depot and JBC was the company who arranged delivery. The delivery team arrived (one man named Julio, who was very nice), unloaded the washer/dryer and let me know they couldn't install the appliances because we were missing a stacking kit. This wasn't made aware to me when checking out on Home Depot's site-- maybe it was common sense, I'm not sure. So I ordered a stacking kit on Amazon and it came the next day. I had to make another appointment for the team to come back out to actually install, and their next available day was a week from that point. I confirmed with two different reps to use my boyfriend's phone number upon arrival, and they continued to use my phone number. I was on a flight during that time and received a voicemail that they had arrived and left because no one was home. This wasn't true-- my boyfriend was home all day and no one knocked at the door or rang the doorbell. The driver was only 15 minutes away from our home by the time I called back and they wouldn't turn around. I had to reschedule for another appt and their next availability wasn't until more than 2 weeks away. Do NOT go with this company, by all means! Horrible customer service. read more

The delivery guys (JBC) told us they are not supposed to install. They stated Home Depot was the culprit. Install was not on their order and they couldn't do our install. Had our washer delivered today. They could not install it because the 'water lines had corroded to the water valves'. They assured me this was a very bad problem they could not deal with. When I attempted to change the water valves later that day, on a whim I tried to disconnect the water lines. Lo and behold, they came off without any issue or any corrosion. Wow! I was surprised to see all of the 1 star reviews - my experience couldn't have been more opposite! We had our LG refrigerator delivered today (purchased at Home Depot), and the lead guy couldn't have been more professional (his name was Rodney). I asked if I should cover the carpets or floors with some material to protect against damage from the delivery wheels, and he said they no longer were using handcarts, preferring to bring it in with shoulder straps and belt! The unit was about 350+ lbs, and they walked it right in (after removing the old one, of course). Rodney said he thought he'd have to remove the front door of the house, but they managed to angle it in without any problem. Delivery and setup went as smoothly and quickly as possible. When asked, Rodney told me this was their 14th (and final) delivery of the day. Also, I did get an automated call the night before, giving me a time window for delivery between 2:30 and 6:30pm. I then got the call 30 minutes prior to their arrival (as I was told to expect), at 2:15pm, and they arrived right on time at 2:45pm! Pretty good by my standards, especially since I didn't have to wait until 6:30! So, I want to say that Rodney and is assistant (did not get a name) did a fine job! If anything, I think it's difficult to find quality workers who will stay in this line of work, because it's certainly not easy! Perhaps this is the reason for some the negative reviews. I would certainly recommend Rodney, as he handled everything so professionally. (I wouldn't be surprised that he gets promoted to a higher position, though...I think delivering 14 appliances in a day is a tough job.) read more

WHAT A HEADACHE. Yelp really needs a 0 star option. This company is terrible. Absolutely terrible. I ordered a gas range from Home Depot and was told it would be delivered today. I left specific notes on my order regarding the difficult parking situation on my busy Seattle street. All I ever heard from the JBC delivery people was that they'd be here between 1 and 5pm. I boarded my dogs, moved everything in my house to make way for the delivery, and waited at home all afternoon. Then I get a call saying they were almost here. Then I see them drive by. Then, a little while later, I get a call. Some kid on the line tells me that they will not be delivering my appliance FOR THE EXACT REASONS I LISTED ON MY ORDER WHEN I PLACED IT. My only options are to drive to Everett to pick it up and install it myself or to meet the truck this very minute with a vehicle and take it back to my house and install it myself (even though I paid for delivery, installation, and removal of my old broken oven). Those are my only options, she says, and tells me that my delivery order had several red flags. I asked why her company didn't bother to resolve those beforehand and she would not answer me. My husband asked the same question when he called and did not receive an answer either. I now find out that all Home Depot deliveries in Seattle go through this company. If you can NOT use these people, do it. In fact, if I could give them negative 5 stars I would. I ordered a matching GE washer and dryer from Costco in March. Throughout this ordeal there was 1 delivery guy (Gael) who was good and sympathetic and communicative through one delivery, in the 5 attempts to get my matching washer and dryer with pedestals delivered and installed. I even requested him out, but of course they sent other people instead. They kept walking into my house with basically no knowledge that it was a redelivery and that I had bits of it in my garage that they'd left the time before that needed to be dealt with. So every time, they told me no we won't install the pedestal, and refused to call their office themselves, making me do it and then taking their own sweet time answer the calls from the customer service reps. One guy tried to tell me that my pedestal was too big for my dryer without even unboxing anything and that I shouldn't have ordered it on-line. The company cancelled on me once because of double booking, they also did not communicate after a reorder the first time andhaving told me me I should expect a redelivery on Monday ( Causing me to hire a family member to come to my house since I had to work), auto called me with the wrong time window the next time and then seemed surprised when I told them the call said another time. They duped my order somehow after the 2nd try. Whenever I called they were confused. The final, 5th time, they came out with intent to deliver 2 dryers (At least they'd have a backup if the first one wouldn't install). This has been a 2 month long delivery nightmare with no apologies from the company whenever I call the people that dispatch them. I have not yelled at anyone except the guy who tried to leave without even trying to install the dryer to the pedestal and telling me I shouldn't have ordered it on-line. Costco escelated it, but if we all complain about this company enough maybe they won't be hired to deliver for them anymore. read more

I bought a washer and dryer from Home Depot with the expectation that they would take out old machines and install new machines bought at Home Depot. Whelp, it turns out that JBC Product Management is the only delivery company that delivers appliances in Seattle for Home Depot, which is shocking both because Seattle is a populous city and Home Depot is a large company, and also because JBC is a DUMPSTER FIRE of a company. I missed my delivery on 9/28 because I was in the shower when they called and even though I jumped out to grab my phone, I missed the call. I didn't get a voicemail so I breathed a sigh of relief - "whew, that can't be my delivery, they would obviously leave a message so as to clearly relay that they are on their way so I can meet them" (as you can't expect customers to call back a random number to check if it's the delivery people, right?). I got a call 30 minutes later telling me I'd missed the delivery (pretty much 30 mins on the dot - seems they've got telling people they missed their deliveries down pat). I called JBC immediately and spoke to Jennifer, who told me they'd be at the property for the next 5 mins. I told her the fridge was being delivered for a tenant whose fridge just stopped cooling and we definitely needed to have it delivered as soon as possible and that I could be there in 7-10 mins if they'd wait for me. She put me on hold for several minutes to talk to the drivers about waiting an extra few minutes, and I thought this was very justified because I was close by and they failed to leave a message letting me know they were on their way. Jennifer came back to the phone and let me know that not only would they not wait, but that they already left. I asked if there was any way to reschedule to any other time that day and also asked why they didn't leave a message to let me know they were on their way, and she told me that there was nothing they could do about rescheduling the delivery and that leaving messages for the customer [to let them know their delivery is en-route and will be gone within a 5 min window] is "at the discretion of the drivers" -- WHY WOULD YOU PUT YOUR CUSTOMER'S SATISFACTION AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DRIVERS??? That's about the least customer-friendly policy I've ever heard, and I'm not sure why a company would adopt that as their policy, let alone snarkily endorse it - thanks, Jennifer. I rescheduled to the earliest available appointment which was a week later, 10/5 (I also called Home Depot to see if this could be moved up -- nope, this is literally the only delivery company that does deliveries for them so they call the shots), and I called Home Depot today to find out the delivery window, as I hadn't received a call. It turns out the reschedule was never actually re-scheduled, and now the earliest delivery date is 10/10 and they will not do anything to get it to me sooner. The tenant whose fridge stopped cooling and who this fridge is going to has now been without refrigeration for over a week, and will continue to be until next week -- if this new delivery appointment even got scheduled at all -- and Jennifer was aware of this when I asked her to ask the drivers to wait 5 extra minutes for me since they didn't actually do me the courtesy of relaying the information that they were on their way. POOR POOR POOR customer service, and ZERO actual service. TOTALLY INDIFFERENT TO CUSTOMERS, AS HOME DEPOT HAS GIVEN THEM A MONOPOLY - I guess they feel that if there's no competition for deliveries, there's no reason that they even need to try to do their jobs? 2nd horrific experience with this company. The first time the drivers refused to install the appliances and then almost backed me over in the road while I was on foot. I had to call 911. This was through an appliance order at Home Depot in Bellevue. We ended up having to install ourselves and never got our money back on the installation charge either. The second time we had a window from 3-7. At 6 we got a call saying that they were running late. At 815 we got a call saying that the driver was too tired to deliver our fridge and that they would come back in 3 days to deliver it with no time window. Meanwhile we have to toss everything that is in our fridge and sit around another day to maybe hope they show up. This was for an order at Bothell Home Depot. Several calls to the company resulted in us getting no where with crappy answers and "well, that's just how it is" attitude. The delivery team from JBC Product Management damaged my property when they installed the washer incorrectly (did not hookup the discharge pipe correctly), which resulted in my basement becoming flooded. I am still trying to get reimbursed for the damages they caused, it's been over a month! Its has been a nightmare from the beginning. I've gotten the run around from them and I may have to go through my home owners insurance company to get reimbursed. This is the company that Home Depot contracts with to deliver and install appliances in the greater Seattle area. Unfortunately, you don't know this until you order the service from Home Depot. Delivery of the appliance went as planned. A four hour window was scheduled and the delivery personnel arrived as planned inside the window. A separate 2 hour window then needed to be scheduled for installation (there isn't ever an explanation why this is necessary. Why not just schedule the installer to arrive when the delivery personnel do? It's clearly because that would be far too much of a logistical stretch for this incredibly poorly run company). When it came to the installation component, a two hour window was scheduled, and my tenant stayed at home to let the installer in. The installation window was from 2-4PM. The installer left a voice message at 3:33PM that he was 30-45 minutes away (so much for being on time inside the window; if you schedule a "window" from 2-4PM, that doesn't mean you should show up at 4PM at the earliest). The delivery personnel then went to the wrong address for the unit, and instead of calling to figure out what was going on, just left. No further calls, no further voicemails. No one answered at the wrong address, so he just left. In addition, the installer did not answer his phone, and his voicemail wasn't even setup. If he had, we could have directed him to the correct address. I then called this company to try to rectify the situation. I asked them to make up for their poor service by rescheduling for a defined date and time that week. They said they couldn't do that, but could only reschedule another 2 hour window, same as before. At that point I let them know that I would be asking for a refund of the installation from Home Depot and cancelled their services. i complained to Home Depot, and they provided me with a refund and a $100 gift certificate, which was nice of them. I don't generally write reviews like this, but I felt that this company put up so many hoops to jump through, and then displayed an incredibly apathetic attitude towards wasting my time and my renter's time. I eventually hired a local plumber who arrived on time and also fixed some other issues in the unit at the same time. Bottom line, this company will waste more of your time than it's worth for their cheap delivery and installation service. I was hoping Home Depot offered this as a cheap and quality service in order to sell more appliances, but it's just cheap and bad, and not worth your time. Don't buy the delivery and installation service from Home Depot in King and Snohomish County until they kick these guys to the curb. read more

One of the worst experiences we ever had with not only appliance installations, but with service overall. Beware of the delivery guys - Javier and Chris. We had three appliances to be installed - refrigerator, oven and microwave. The two guys handled the new and old appliances as if this was piece of garbage - and seemed super rushed - ready to throw everything in and get out. As a result, damaged front door, damaged the refrigerator and the walls, were not able to install the microwave. At the end they had the guts to demand from my wife (too bad I was not home) to sign the form that there was no damage to the property. When she refused they became rude and just left. Net result: no microwave, refrigerator which has no water or ice, and beeps every 30 seconds. Thankfully the oven seems to be OK, haven't used it though... fingers crossed... Long time on the phone to Home Depot, complain to JBC, and Samsung. Hopefully get the replacement in several days - still not sure what to do with the damages these guys caused. I would also give this place a zero if I could. As much as I enjoy shopping at Home Depot for what we need, I hate it when JBC is involved. They delivered a product to our home and stained the carpet during the process. Typical of a mover or moving company, they get your name on the "No Problem" sheet as quickly as they can then vacate the premises. When we did find the problem, they pretended to be caring and upfront but couldn't wait to send out the denial letter. What that demonstrates is a lack of courage to tell us in person or via phone. OR - they get so many complaints it's more cost effective to take the cowards way but cost effective way out. Not a good service, I requested permission from my supervisor at work to work from home today because I was supposed to receive a washer machine from 8 AM to Noon. It never came. I called Home Depot, they stated that the product did not arrive on time to be loaded in the delivery truck. That is fine, anyone can understand this, but...... even do JBC had my number, they did not contact me to let me know they were not able to deliver the product. If they had done so I would have been able to got to work. I had to learn this by calling Home Depot. When I found the phone number for JBC and called..... NOTHING... your call gets you nowhere, nobody answers, you go into some Q and then you get disconnected...... FRUSTRATING. Ultimately this company sold its integrity. They lied and told me a check was in the mail on November 10th. When I called on the 17th because no check had been received they lied again and said I should have gotten it. I received the check on the 19th with a postmark date of the 17th. The amount was for much less than what it would take to fix the house but since Washington's small claims court only allows for a maximum payout of $4000, I'm sure they figured they could be shady and get away with it. If there was a Zero stars option I would select it. Absolute WORST customer experience ever. I purchased a new oven and clothes dryer from Home Depot. Paid for installation services. The delivery driver and install crew showed up and came into my home. Rude from the get go and refused to move appliances into my home the way I asked as I had already cleared a path for them. While installing the oven "Umar" dropped a few screws and said "we don't need them anyways" and slammed my oven against the wall. When they installed my dryer, they did not level it. Per Samsung instructions, "dryer must be level with the ground for proper operation." I asked them to level and "Umar" said he has 20 years of experience and not to ask anymore questions. Shoved papers in my face and told me to sign them. I refused and he got angry said I was an idiot and to "trust him". I went and got a level from my garage and he got even more upset and flipped the dryer backwards into the wall damaging the outlet and the drywall. He then refused to leave my home until I signed his papers. WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE For those who want to know more about this company here's the scoop: 1. GE contracts JBC Product Management in the Pacific Northwest and JBC subcontracts all installations. This presents a huge accountability problem as Home Depot, GE, and even JBC cannot directly control who is coming into your home. 2. When I called JBC representatives refused to confirm if they conduct thorough background checks of their contractors. Need I say more? 3. Worst company in the world. They were contracted by Home Depot to deliver and install several appliances. They refused to deliver because our driveway was too steep. We just moved into this house a few weeks ago and we had movers taking large items up and down the same driveway for over 8 hours. We told them that if they delivered the appliances to the bottom of the driveway, we would take them up the driveway. Then they would be able to take them in the house and install them. They refused again. Their excuse this time is that the would have had to have walked approximately 40 feet (without any appliances mind you) - by contract with Home Depot, they are only obligated to walk a maximum of 30 feet. Hands down, worst delivery company ever. I have never heard lamer excuses for not doing a job. Obviously incredibly lazy as they can find loop holes in their contract for not doing something even though they will probably still get paid since they "tried". What a joke of a company. Btw, I've never written a yelp review in my life. I've had bad service before. But I've never had a situation as maddening and ridiculous as this. read more

The delivery of our appliance arrived on time and was in great condition. However, we had a glitch in the installation in that the refrigerator needed to be lifted over a very short, narrow banister. I understand that the delivery men did not want to lift the appliance over the banister, and in fact, we did not expect them to do this. I did ask if our relatives could lift it over the counter and scoot it into place, which would have taken approximately 4 minutes, and then we would be able to check the working condition of the appliance and load it with food that was temporarily in coolers. The delivery men said "no." I argued that we could have it done immediately (my brother and cousin were visiting and willing to help) but the delivery man said that they had a lot of deliveries to do and that they would be gone in 5 minutes and that there was no extra time. He also measured the kitchen area and said the refrigerator would not scoot back into place without removing the handle of the oven. (This turned out to be completely untrue: the refrigerator scooted back into place without incident. ) I was very disappointed. It seemed as if the delivery men just wanted to get the job done as quickly as possible and get out of there. They were not willing to work with us. Yes, it was a minor inconvenience, but service excellence requires some flexibility. Part of the joy of having a new appliance is having it in place and it working order. We were deprived of this satisfaction because the delivery crew was totally inflexible. read more

I ordered a GE dishwasher from Home Depot...the JBC boys seemed friendly enough, and seemed to know what they were doing. But, as we learned after the 30 day warranty was up, they used the wrong size hose, which resulted in backing up the disposal when the dishwasher was running. I had to pay out of my own pocket for the repair. Why are GE and Home Depot still using these bums??? read more

Ordered multiple appliances and home electronics for our new construction home through Costco, BestBuy and Home Depot. Also had Xfinity services installed. Costco, Best Buy and Xfinity all provided short delivery windows and had a lot of insight into when your delivery would happen. Home Depot (via JBC) will call you 24 hours before your appointment to only give you a 4 hour delivery window. I had to book on Saturday to ensure I could be there and when I asked for a specific window, they flatly denied without any flexibility and quite frankly a rude staff. We stayed home the entire day and then the company was unable to make the delivery. I had to again reschedule and take an entire day off work (since I wont' find out the delivery window until 24 hours before). I will never get an appliance through home depot delivery again. read more
