re: Jeremy's 7-11-23 response. If Jeremy, (aka Jimmy) the owner was there, he should have introduced himself...... but he wasn't, and everything I said was true. The owners lies began with the first phone call. I wanted to start with Basic Service but eventually add in other yard projects as time (and money) permitted..... over and above Basic maintenance. He said he would work with me until we got it right.
..........He drove by my house before he gave me a bid and knew I was located on a corner but never told me that basic service only covered edging the curb on the front of the house NOT the curb and sidewalk on the side of the house. (they edge with a weed wacker). They
.........Only one of the two men worked. The other sat on the sidewalk, smoking, and pulling weeds (one blade of grass at a time?) under the hedge the whole time and never finished. (That wasn't included in the Basic Service) The other refused to edge the sidewalk and curb on the side of the house I did talk them into edging one side of the walkway in front of the house. I repeatedly tried to reach the owner with several emails and repeated phone calls to update the service. When I was finely able to speak with him he refused to update the service, thus breaking our verbal agreement. I spoke to him about the trashcan being left in the middle of the driveway so I couldn't drive in, and the next week they kicked in the crawl space cover. He said that wasn't true, because his crew told him it wasn't.
they didn't edge anything after that. I don't have a clue what they told their boss but Jeremy yelled at me like a crazy man (yelling goes both ways). I paid the bill , not because they deserved it but because Jeremy is crazy and I was afraid of repercussions. You can tell who has worked for him in the past, and or still works for him..... the banter is the same and so is their terrible work ethic. They show up unannounced or not at all, they tell you what you want to hear and then do what ever they please. After you complain and stop service Jeremy blackballs you. If you happen to reach one of his former employees (which is every Hispanic in the central willamette valley), they won't call you back..... its the gift that keeps on giving. Seriously, you are better off not hiring one of his former employees. read more
