4 years ago: I got estimates from Mark and Co and 2 other suppliers. I hired Mark and Co because…read morethey were the lowest bid. Then they told me that they "forgot" to include one of the windows. They could not do the job for the quoted price, but they would do it for the price on the next lowest bid. So was this an honest mistake or a scheme to get the job at the best possible price? Incompetent or dishonest? I would be interested to know if anyone else had the same experience. Installers were dirty, poorly dressed, did not appear to know what they were doing. Left black fingerprints all over all of the interior walls. A year later I had to recaulk most of the windows. Co-owner Dave told me that I had a glass-breakage warranty. Present day: I had a broken window. The only reason I called Mark and Co is because they had promised me a glass breakage warranty. On 12/20 co-owner Kelly came and measured, and told me that I do have a glass breakage warranty. I informed Kelly that I am selling the house, that closing date is 1/13 and I need the repair done before then. Kelly said this would not be a problem. Mark and Co filed a warranty claim with Milgard on 12/20. I called Milgard on 1/4, they said Mark and Co had given them the wrong order number. After much back and forth with Mark and Co, they finally admitted that I do not have a glass breakage warranty. On 1/4 Kelly told me that "today" he would order glass to install in the existing frame, the glass would arrive 1/9, and he would install 1/10 or 1/11. On 1/9 I called to confirm this appointment. Dave told me the glass had not been ordered because Kelly "called in sick." 4 days to closing and the glass has not been ordered!!! Dave promised me that he would order the glass "today," and scheduled an appointment to install on 1/12 at 3pm. He did not show up for this appointment. At this point I cancelled my contract with Mark and Co and called another supplier. Kelly responded by leaving a rude, unprofessional, and threatening voice mail. Good riddance.

We selected 4 Seasons to do the repair work and could not be happier with our decision! The crew they assigned to the work, Seth and Chavis, were extremely knowledgeable, efficient and very hard working. They were also highly personable and just a delight to have around, even taking the time to tell us about the plants in our garden and how best to care for them. They very quickly took care of all of the sprinkler system problems, helped us set it up for optimal performance and left all work areas tidy and spotless. We were surprised that upon completion they didn't ask for payment and told us the company would check back to ensure we were happy and all work was satisfactory before invoicing. Gary, the owner, even came back personally a few days later to install a few lines we had missed. We can't say enough positive things about 4 Seasons, Gary, Seth and Chavis. The work was top notch, the crew absolutely outstanding and so pleasant to work with, and the cost was very reasonable. We will definitely be using 4 Seasons for our other landscaping needs and if you want the best at a very fair price you should too!

They came out the day after we called, used imaging equipment to let us know where the water was, and gave us a quote and options immediately. The tech who came out (Elmer) was very friendly, professional and honest. He could have said the damage was worse--we wouldn't have known the difference--and charged us a small fortune in repairs, but instead he was honest and let us know exactly what was needed. The piece of mind he gave us was much appreciated. We were worried about mold but he said we did everything right by fixing the roof, pulling out the insulation and opening it up to dry. All we have to do is replace some drywall. I appreciate an honest company. If (God forbid) we have another issue with water, we will definitely use Servpro.
