4 years ago: I got estimates from Mark and Co and 2 other suppliers. I hired Mark and Co because…read morethey were the lowest bid. Then they told me that they "forgot" to include one of the windows. They could not do the job for the quoted price, but they would do it for the price on the next lowest bid. So was this an honest mistake or a scheme to get the job at the best possible price? Incompetent or dishonest? I would be interested to know if anyone else had the same experience. Installers were dirty, poorly dressed, did not appear to know what they were doing. Left black fingerprints all over all of the interior walls. A year later I had to recaulk most of the windows. Co-owner Dave told me that I had a glass-breakage warranty. Present day: I had a broken window. The only reason I called Mark and Co is because they had promised me a glass breakage warranty. On 12/20 co-owner Kelly came and measured, and told me that I do have a glass breakage warranty. I informed Kelly that I am selling the house, that closing date is 1/13 and I need the repair done before then. Kelly said this would not be a problem. Mark and Co filed a warranty claim with Milgard on 12/20. I called Milgard on 1/4, they said Mark and Co had given them the wrong order number. After much back and forth with Mark and Co, they finally admitted that I do not have a glass breakage warranty. On 1/4 Kelly told me that "today" he would order glass to install in the existing frame, the glass would arrive 1/9, and he would install 1/10 or 1/11. On 1/9 I called to confirm this appointment. Dave told me the glass had not been ordered because Kelly "called in sick." 4 days to closing and the glass has not been ordered!!! Dave promised me that he would order the glass "today," and scheduled an appointment to install on 1/12 at 3pm. He did not show up for this appointment. At this point I cancelled my contract with Mark and Co and called another supplier. Kelly responded by leaving a rude, unprofessional, and threatening voice mail. Good riddance.

We have known the owner of this company since before he started his business. His personal…read morededication, high standards and professionalism has made him and his business as successful as he is! A few years ago, we had some work done to the siding of our kitchen bay window. At that time we used a word-of-mouth contractor, who at the time portrayed he knew what he was doing, and once he was done it "appeared" to have been done correctly. Fast forward about 3 years later, and that work he performed, turned out to have been done by cutting a lot of corners, and done incorrectly! Since then, Cody established his business, and has been a saving grace. When I contacted him about the work, I provided photos of the damage, and he directed me to his scheduler. She informed us, he was booked out until after the first of the year, however he managed to squeeze us in at the same time he had another job in our area. Cody and his crew arrived on time at our home. We have a Ring camera and was able to see when they were moving around. What I noticed right away was his crew setting up a pop-up canopy as we had been having some inclement weather like we normally do in the PNW. This assured me, they were taking the situation seriously and not trying to get by, while doing their work in the rain. Additionally I could see their van in one of our camera views and it was fully stocked with equipment needed for the job. The fact Cody and his team started with a pop-up canopy gave me confidence and reassurance the job would be done right. Needless to say, Cody and his team uncovered some "interesting" work. There were lots of gaps in the wood that allowed air flow and water to seep in because the work was not flashed and sealed correctly. They had to replace the window sill on the inside, cut out mold, and replace any other damaged or missing wood. After it was all done he reassured it was done correctly, and flashed and sealed so we wouldn't have any future issues. When the last "contractor" worked on this area, they also painted our home, yet left the paint buckets open, which made the remaining paint dry out. Cody and his team was able to get the paint needed and color matched it to the existing color. I would highly recommend Cody and his team to anyone. They are efficient, on time, professional and he expects an exceptional quality of work.

Jack showed up on time for the estimate appointment (whereas some of the other companies that I had an estimate scheduled with were not punctual or did not show). Jack was very easy to work with and accommodating in planning the job when I wanted wider downspouts, heavier .032 gauge, and re-routing of some of the gutters in one area to solve a pre-existing design problem. The work was good quality and they knew their stuff. The price was reasonable and competitive. I recommend this company.
