Since the installation , both window units have exhibited significant defects.Ron tried to tell me the window rot out because of our dogs sit on the seat of the window. I have had 4 other window companies at my house . They said The window needs to be appropriately set on a durable, moisture-resistant substrate. The use of either pressure-treated wood or a suitable high-density styrofoam insulation material is required to provide a stable, long-lasting sill support that prevents moisture transfer and material breakdown. Premier did not do that for this install. Ron did give me a quote to do this if they were to install a replacement window.

Just finally completed all the windows in our home. We did them on 3 trips due to the cost and we…read moredidn't want to take a loan out. Windows cost a lot no matter where you go. It takes about 6-8 weeks once you order. We had problems with our install on 2 of the trips. The second install the guy left caulk in 2 spots on our hardwood floor. We never called about this because we are planning to resand them. This is very careless on his part because he did have tarps down. The 3rd install the guy who put one of the octagons in never leveled the window. So as they were ready to leave and my husband checked the work it was obviously off center without even placing a level. The guy fixed it before he left. Now that the work is done, we are happy. Windows are beautiful. Just make sure to check everything over before they leave.

From ordering the custom door to the date of install was only a couple of weeks. On the date of install, Nick arrived early and got right to work. Update January 2026:…read more Called once again for a simple draft issue. Immediately they start talking about replacing all of the windows. The problem is simply the 3/16" fur weatherstrips becoming matted from use over the years and needing to be replaced. They just slide out and you insert a new strip. The strips are literally $10 for 25 feet or $30 for 100 feet if you buy in bulk...Feldco wants to charge thousands of dollars to replace entire windows when the weatherstripping on the entire floor (7 windows) would be under $60 and take maybe an hour to do. Record keeping also may not be not up to par as they seem to be missing records for the building. They are beyond greedy and prey on customer's ignorance. Avoid them like the plague.
