The actual guys who replaced it were wonderful people.

He was straightforward and provided an honest quote. We also got estimates from the big name companies which were 3x the price and they all made us sit through 2 hour long presentations before measuring and providing astronomical estimates. Chris didn't do any of that and it was a much less time consuming, no nonsense appointment. The work started when promised and his workers were respectful of our house and provided phenomenal quality work. I am so happy we chose Chris for this large project. I would highly recommend E V Windows for all your window needs!

She was pleasant at first then called me back and told me her worker said he was told by the gentleman here that they did not have to worry about there mess he would take care of it, he didn't want them on his property... 1st off there was no man here ( no one was home at all...) 2nd one of the guys was already on the property picking up the big pieces of trash they let go. She said well he did run his magnet over your driveway, There's NO possible way he did with all the nails that were left and we also have 3 cameras that face our driveway 1 points straight down it one across it and the other the front and the only time it picked anyone up was when he was here picking up the big mess! She did tell me they would be here the next morning between 7-8 am I am still waiting for them but when I called her to ask if there was an eta she blew up on me, was Cussing me out and Hung up on me, Again this was all caught on camera, when I told her I am leaving a review. I have been NOTHING but nice and understanding of them... THIS IS NOT EVEN A COMPANY THAT WAS DOING ANY WORK FOR US BUT A NEIGHBOR!!

When Bryan found the book he slung it across the table at me. The service was terrible, he repeatedly told me that the door I wanted would cost around $5000 on up. I made him aware that the price didn't matter I was interested in a quality door for my building. The service was just rude and disrespectful. I had a little bit of sticker shock from the first quote so decided this would be worth getting multiple quotes on. And Home Build was one of them due to their stellar Yelp reviews. I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.

Not only do the new windows look sleek and modern, but the entire process was top-notch from start to finish. What really stood out to us was their honesty. While other companies tried to sell us on full-frame replacements, SHS actually advised us to go with insert replacements. They pointed out that our house has high-density older wood framing that was worth preserving. Following their advice preserved the character and strength of our home while saving us a significant amount of money. Their communication was excellent throughout the project, and the installation crew was fantastic: punctual, respectful, and meticulous about keeping the worksite clean. On top of that, their guarantee is rock-solid. I feel completely confident that this was a lifelong investment and that they will stand by their work if anything ever comes up down the road.
