I said "But I texted you a cell phone number to use instead (still no big deal, just hang up and call that number so my husband can get back to work). I wish I could post the screen shot here of the message I got to my cell phone. It said " I hope you get the day you deserve you miserable bitc*h" Over asking her to call a different number, two separate times, nicely. Was not mad about it at all. These guys came out and found the problem, replaced the siding in a very professional manner, and corrected the downspout issue so that it feeds directly into the gutter. When they noticed that there was a greater degree of damage than initially identified, they were honest about it and gave me a new reasonable quote. They went above and beyond. The work was competent, and initially I was very happy. There were some very minor issues that I asked Jason King to come and address after the job was completed. He never came back to follow through. As I said, it was minor, so I didn't pursue it. My mistake. Fast forward to 2023... In February I noticed a separation where two panels of siding have a gap between them, making the insulation underneath visible. This is a warranty issue, most likely due to an installation error rather than fault with the siding itself. I also had some loose panels from high winds, again not very bad. On 2/6/23 I sent a text to Jason King and Royal Restoration. After a couple of weeks with no response, I called and left a voice mail. Jason King finally responded with a text saying he was out of town. Phones work from out of town, right? Oh well. We texted back and forth a couple of times, he explained that the minor wind damage was not covered under warranty. I was surprised, but it is what it is, and I wanted it repaired. More importantly I wanted to get the separation caused by faulty installation taken care of. We agreed (in texts) that I would contact him in the near future to evaluate and do the repairs. Jason King responded with a text saying "Sounds good Tom." That was 2/15/23. That is the last time I heard from him. On 3/28/23 I texted Jason King again, wanting to set an appointment for him to come look at my house, as we agreed. I told him there was no further damage, and the existing damage was minor and not time critical. I was always very nice and respectful. After four weeks with no response, on 4/25/23 I sent Jason King yet another text, saying "It's been four weeks and I haven't heard from you. Still no rush, but please get back to let me know this is on your radar..." All I wanted at this time after weeks of silence was a RESPONSE saying he was aware that this needs to get done. That's it... but Jason King could not do even that. It is now 5/8/23 and I have not received any communication from Jason King and Royal Restoration. I have no explanation as to why a business would continually ignore a paid customer with warranty issues, but I can only conclude that once Royal Restoration has your money you will not see Jason King again, regardless of the warranty. I've done nothing to provoke this lack of basic consideration and respect from Jason King. I've been nice, I've been polite, I've been patient... but my patience is at an end. What must I do to get this business to respond? I try to be positive in all situations, but I don't know what else I can do other than inform and warn potential customers with this Google/Yelp/BBB/Facebook review. When the job was being done, Jason King and I talked about Royal Restoration possibly replacing windows in my home at some future date. Whole process went through insurance which is the foundation of their model. 30-40k of work billed, they were super easy to communicate with while the main work was being done. Now a couple years removed we've been trying to get some little maintenance done as the roof has settled and it's been a months-long runaround. Literally some caulking that I just can't get to. Things they said they'd fix for free are now being charged for and I'm going to pay because I want it to be done with. They're near impossible to get commitments from and they don't follow through. Once the insurance money cashes your home is over in their eyes. There's another young homeowner or old person to hound. We did interact with some great people which is unfortunate for my overall sentiment. But their business model is clear and it's very frustrating. I will not be using them in the future for any housing needs.

After new shingles and decking our roof still leaks in the exact same place as before. We thought we were hiring an experienced union shop who knew what they were doing. What we learned is that Adler/Advantage doesn't actually do roofing. They sub-contract the job to the lowest bidder. The crew that installed our roof had only a vague idea of what they were about. It's pretty clear that they had no supervision from anybody with a roofer's license. Our quotation from Adler/Advantage promises a five year warranty on their workmanship. Our roof never stopped leaking and they have refused to do anything about it. We have engaged four additional roofing companies to look at our roof and assess the damage. They all agree that if the underlay materials were installed as poorly as the visible shingle work then the manufacture's warranty would surely be void. The only way to guarantee the job would be to remove this mess and start over. "It's companies like Adler/Advantage that give our industry a bad name" I cannot in good conscience give these people any stars, but Yelp does not allow that. So I am giving one. Unless you are happy with empty promises then I would advise you to find another outfit to repair your roof.
