Had a great experience with Window & Door Superstore. I'm in an HOA Community so their are some tricky issues to navigate. I stopped in and everyone i worked with knew exactly what was needed for my HOA. We walked through all the options when building a door and storm door, picked out the layout, the glass, and the colors. Everything was seamless. They came out for final measurements, and then called to setup the install when the doors were ready. The installation team was great, took great care of my entryway while doing the install. I couldn't have been happier with this experience. My only regret was that I didn't use them for my windows that I just had replaced. Lately, we've been having a bunch of small things that needed to be done in our condo unit and one big one for the building. This company was able to solve two of our problems. Our condo building needed a new commercial door. We wanted one with no maintenance and a code lock. I called numerous door businesses. I had appointments with several. Two showed up and the other one didn't do commercial doors. Window and Door Superstore really listened to what we wanted and created it for us. We had to wait a bit over a month but it was well worth it. While they were at it, I got an estimate for a new screen door for our own unit. Again, they created exactly what we needed/wanted and gave advice on the sliding glass door. Both doors were installed on the same day and both are spectacular. Everyone in the building loves the new front door. The installation was perfect, they were very professional and polite plus cleaned up after themselves. Dave and Jason did an outstanding job. This is not a chain, but instead a very honest local business. They know their stuff and I would heartily recommend them. The guys at the Window and Door Superstore are fabulous! I needed an entry door from the garage to the house. Problem is, the opening is not standard size. No problem for these guys! I called on a weekday afternoon and Steve came over the very next morning to measure and give me an estimate. He sent all the information to me via email within a few hours. While he was at my home, he also noticed a problem with my front storm door and advised me that I might be able to get it replaced by the manufacturer for free--he did NOT try to sell me another door! As for the door--all I needed was a basic entry door, nothing fancy. Steve did not try to upsell me a door I didn't need. And fitting my non-standard opening was no problem! They were able to cut the door to fit for me. The installation was a breeze. The installers came at the time promised. They were very respectful of my home. You know how many tradesmen leave a mess? Not these guys! They cleaned up EVERYTHING and took my old door and all their scraps with them! They even asked to use my ShopVac (which was right out in the open in my garage where they were working) so they could vacuum up all the sawdust. Great service, great product. We had a new front door with side panel installed and everything was explained to us very thoroughly up-front, including the timeline. Everything happened exactly as they said it would and we couldn't be happier with our new entryway. The installers were terrific as well. Steve helped us out with our new front door and several windows. Pella is the way to go. We have replace our windows over 20 years. A few at a time. We have a Anderson sliding door and it was installed by another company. I had to call Anderson because I had so many problems with it. I felt that Anderson did not care. My Pella windows are holding up great in this cold weather. No frost at all. The Anderson door has frost and this other brand I purchased 15 yrs ago has lots of frost and ice. read more

The Window and Door Superstore was extremely helpful. I called first thing in the morning and they were able to send one of their experts out to my house. He was there before noon. I was in need of many little repairs. Their expert showed up and within an hour was able to go through and get my exterior door and two bedroom doors realigned as well as being able to re-caulk some exterior windows. My wife and I were looking for a new front door unit. We visited many different businesses and we always came away very disappointed and dissatisfied with service, products, and pricing. Finally, and fortunately, we visited Window and Door and within 5 minutes we knew without a doubt this was the place that would give us what we wanted! Steve, the sales rep. and part-owner was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and answered all of our questions! One of W&D's best services is the ability to take a picture of your house and feature any door configuration you can imagine on the computer. It really takes the guesswork out of the equation. No other business even attempted this! Second, Dave, the installer, another part- owner demonstrated from the get-go that he really cared about the finished product! All of the other places we visited sub-contracted out the work so you never know who is actually doing the job! This company works with you at all times as the job is progressing to let you know step by step what is happening with no surprises! When we decided to bite the bullet and replace our rotting wood windows we really didn't know where to start. Luckily we stopped in one day and talked with Steve at WDSS. We did our homework and checked all different windows and companies. We came across many pushy pitches and price changes with other companies, but not here. My windows are even nicer than expected and the crew that installed them was very professional. How excited can a gal get about windows?! Let me tell you, DAMN excited!! Hands down without a doubt this is thee best place to buy windows and take recommendations from (gave us a fabulous garage door company too out of Joliet). We worked in the showroom with Steve who is straight forward, no hard selling just a lot of experience and he's get this...honest! He delivered on everything he said he would. Now the real part, having them installed. Three guys came out, worked their butts off and then vacuumed everything up..even my dog hair! They were also very good with my dog who had to inspect everything they were doing. Shout out to Dave, John and Shawn, they were meticulous in getting the windows in right and the foam insulation and caulking was done with such attention to detail, and care. These guys care about their work and KNOW what they are doing. We looked for a couple of years at windows and window companies. Windows are not cheap but Window and Door Superstore of Oak Forest gave us a great price on Vanguard by Sunrise vinyl casement windows. No need to look anywhere else, seriously I'm a shopper and picky. You won't be disappointed! I swear I'm not a relative and didn't get paid a dime for this review.
