Stating that if we don't go with him then it's not going to be done right and if we hire someone else and they mess it up he's not coming to fix it. Overall great experience. I needed sod installed (2000 sq ft) in my front yard. They came out and told me some concerns about my sprinklers which I appreciated since I didn't want my new sod to die. I was referred to Joe by another contractor I've used for sprinkler repair. I needed some major pruning and haul away of the debris. Mostly Because I don't have the time and it would also take me forever to get rid of the debris via Tracy garbage service, so I decided to hire Joe. I sent him a text asking if he could call me to set up a time for a quote. He text me right back and we set up a consult for a couple days later. He then sent communication to me the day before and morning of our appointment to make sure I was still home and he was coming out. He showed up a little early. He politely introduced himself and asked what I would like to do. We walked around for 10-15 minutes discussing what needs to be done and he offered his advice. We then discussed price, which at first seems a bit high, but if you look at the amount of work that is truly being done, and the amount of time it frees up for me, it's not that bad. I told him I would discuss with my girlfriend and let him know in the next day or two. I text him back about an hour after he left, he said if I wanted, he would give me a price break and also get it done the same day. sold! He came back, got right to work. He and a crew of about 3 other guys were here for about an hour and a half. Done and cleaned up! Like a boss! Joe and his son were very personable and easy going. I contacted Joe for an estimate to prune some out of control oleanders, prune a large tree, and remove a tree that had already been cut to about 10 feet. I also had several piles of yard debris to be removed. His estimate was not the lowest, but his immediate contact, thoroughness, and knowledge sold me. We set a date, but he contacted me about a week early and asked if he could start; I said absolutely. 2 days later the work was done and my wife and I were happy. Job was well done and area cleaned. I cannot say enough good things about this company! The owner gave us a very fair estimate and had all the work done in one day. We have a big corner lot with 3 very over grown fruit trees and 5 big 7 ft tall decorative bushes, plus a very overgrown yard. They trimmed, weeded, mowed, and hauled it all away in 4 hours which is amazing! They also do weekly service and I will definitely be using them for that. Joe had came out to give an estimate a couple of weeks ago, he responded quickly to my request for a quote through Yelp, and he and his son were very friendly, knowledgeable and frank about the work that would be needed to get another lawn in my front yard. He answered all my questions and gave me a fair quote. Fast forward to this weekend when I shot him an "Are you still available?" message. He responded again right away with his availability. It fit my timeline and I was excited to work with the company. He answered my questions through messenger and even informed me that he had another job cancel and therefore could start the job two days earlier than planned!
