Prompt response from polite well qualified tree service company that is capable and well equipped with their own equipment. The tree in our front yard got sick and branches started falling off when it got windy. We had to have the entire tree removed. We got several quotes. Out of all those who provided a business license this one was the lowest, most likely due to the fact they own all the needed equipment and don't have to rent any of it. They took their time talking with us before and after the job to make sure we got what we wanted. read more

They trimmed my tree. Loved it. Very hard working people. Very polite. I've had the tree trimmed before but not as good as it was this time. I highly recommend Pradoslandscaping and Tree service to anyone. Pat Williams read more

I had a great experience with this team. They were very easy to communicate with--quick responses and no issues at all. They were flexible with scheduling and offered very reasonable pricing. They fully removed my palm tree, ground the stump, and took care of all the debris. The result was exactly what I was hoping for. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for tree services. read more

I was very nervous getting my mom's tree trimmed. Didn't know any tree trimmers. Yelp helped me find this company. Sergio and his worker did a great job. They came on time and worked straight thru including cleanup. The price was fair and reasonable considering all the work they did. They came from Merced too. Great family business. Very professional. Highly recommend! Also wanted to say I wanted to just do a few branches on both trees and Sergio explained how he could do what I wanted but it wouldn't solve my problem. U have to meet this owner.. u decide if he's being real with his quotes. read more

Sergio came out a few days before to talk through the project. The crew arrived on time and worked efficiently. Once the tree was trimmed, they had their own chipper to handle all the trimmings. Very satisfied with their professionalism and customer service. I'll definitely be calling them for our next tree project. read more

Prado was great! He came out with in 24 hours and gave a very competitive estimate. He had great communication and followed up on his text and my questions. They did exactly what I asked him to do and went beyond what was originally planned. The most important thing was his communication and the fact that he showed up on time with people who were ready to work. Great price, good communication, him and his crew were very friendly and did good work!! Thank you guys!! read more

No showed an appt that was made three days in advance to come give me an estimate for service. Guess they did me a favor by showing me how unreliable they are before I handed over any money. In response to Sergio: the way a business owner responds is also very telling. This guy acts like I was trying to get something free--estimates are free in the vast majority of cases. He quoted $320-400 a month a few days ago, today was just to see the property and give me a definite price. Obviously I was willing to spend money. I'm not upset I didn't get my "free estimate," I'm upset at the lack of professionalism. If I had been notified BEFORE my appointment window was missed that nobody was coming, maybe the ER story would've been a bit more believable, but the fact that he reached out only after I posted my review says a lot. If he was in the ER with his son, you wouldn't think he would have had the time to have been engaging in so much back and forth with me on Yelp messaging. Anyway, moving on... hope your son feels better. read more

I called Prado's landscaping to remove 4 bush's that were looking ugly. He took care of it in less than 2 hours, including stump removal. His quality work is outstanding and the value of the work that was given to him was affordable!! I will definitely be calling him for future needs! read more

They came out the same day I called and requested a quote. They came back the next day and trimmed 2 overgrown Mulberry trees, removed 1 stump, and cut down two small trees. They cleaned up all of the mess that was made. They did great work and didn't take all day. Great price for the whole job. read more

Save yourself the time and reach out to Prado's first! Removed a large tree stump that had been there for a couple of years. Responsive, professional, affordable, and worked with my busy schedule. Also cleaned up after. read more

I called Prado's this morning and, to my surprise, Sergio answered right away. He showed up on time, gave us a very reasonable quote to grind out a large tree stump, and was able to do the work the same day to fit our tight timeline. He cleaned up the area after he was done and checked in with us about the job to make sure we were satisfied before he left. To top all this off, he's a really courteous and nice guy! My husband asked him to do a few more smaller jobs while he was here and he still asked very reasonable prices even though he had to go get more equipment to do them. We will be sure to use Sergio again and to refer him to others because you don't find this level of service for a good price nowadays. Highly recommended!! read more

Called Sergio for estimate and he was prompt and on time, took his time looking at job and gave me a very reasonable price. We had a very tall tree in our front yard that was 90% mistletoe and it needed to be trimmed down. I put in an estimate request here on Yelp to a few businesses, and within an hour, I received a call from Sergio first before anyone else. He had a few questions for me, gave me an incredibly reasonable price, and we were already scheduling an appointment for the next day. He was on time and had our tree done within an hour. Sergio and his team were very friendly and they did such a good job! I appreciated their work so much, I already have plans to have them come out again. I highly recommend this company for your tree services and landscaping jobs! read more

Response to owner: Yes you said you had no CSLB license but I went ahead and gave you a second chance only to find your bid nearly 250% higher than a CSLB licensed and insured contractor. No quote is free if it is a waste of time hoping to get a lower price. Instead the unlicensed are way more expensive. What a paradox to show you don't always get what you pay for. No more second chances for unlicensed firms or mom and pop small businesses. It's like a dealership versus your neighborhood mechanic not factory trained. Good Luck navigating the looming World Depression II. $3200 to remove 4 trees: grind stump & haul away. 2 other unlicensed contractors quote $3200. No one presented their CSLB license as required when bidding and in question. A city business license isn't the same. A CSLB licensed contractor bid $3600! read more

Needed to have a tree, bushes, and some boulders removed. Reached out through Yelp and Sergio contacted me right away. After going over some details he gave me a reasonable quote and the job was set. He arrived on time and did exactly what I had expected. He was able to remove the root ball of the tree which I prefer over grinding. I did help get the root ball into the back of his truck as it was extremely heavy, but I didn't mind. All in all great service, communication, and price. I would recommend their services. read more

We received great service. Sergio was very professional and friendly. He gave us a free quote which we used. Had Sergio come out and do an estimate on Monday on a palm tree removal. His price was extremely reasonable and had him do the work next day. He was here on the dot at 9 o'clock. He worked really fast and clean. I also asked him how much to do landscaping and trim the palm trees in the back also. Definitely would recommend him. Got a few business cards to give to my parents and coworker also since they were also looking for palm tree removal. read more

Sergio and his crew showed up right on time for both the free estimate and the day of the job. They were very respectful of my property and made sure they didn't leave the job until I was satisfied with the completed work. I liked how they asked exactly what I wanted with the trees around my house instead of just hacking away like other companies have done in the past. They also did a great job on the clean up portion at the end of the job. Price estimate for the job was very fair as well. I'm very pleased with their work and would hire them again in the future. read more

I requested a quote for tree removal by phone late in the evening on this past Monday holiday. I received a response within minutes. We scheduled the service to be done and Sergio showed up and got the job done. He removed a palm tree from my backyard, including stump removal, pruned a tree in the front, and also did some maintenance work on a huge pine tree. He paid much attention to detail on how we wanted the front trees to look like and they turned out perfect. He even had me come out and see if there were any adjustment I wanted. He hauled away everything, left no trash behind and he also blowed the areas where he worked leaving everything super clean. I must add as a woman I am always skeptical about having anyone come work on my house but sometimes you have to take that risk and I had no issue with Sergio. He showed up, did the work we requested, cleaned up and left. He was very polite. As for the price... it was extremely fair and I will definitely be using his service again in the future. read more

Sergio replied quickly, arrived on time, did a great job trimming the trees, all at a reasonable price.

They trimmed our trees, cleaned out gutters, and removed a dead tree. We were impressed. They really trimmed. It was done with an aesthetic eye (no scalping) and the trees were left with good form for future growth. They showed up on time, worked hard, communicated well, and cleaned up after themselves. We asked them to come back and tackle another job in a couple of months. read more
